Have I stumbled upon a weird note 2 forum? Doesn't seem to be current for some reason.

This is for development of custom roms, and other development. We are quite active. You are only supposed to post threads about development. You can learn all about it in the rules. Having so many posts, I have to wonder if you are trolling. Check out questions, and answers as this is where they will end up putting this.

Sorry.... It was a question about the thread not the phone.

Ask your question in the q&a part

I heard its not free.I think they give you a week then charge your credit card or something
In the Q&A part of xda? I have no idea? That doesn't make any sense. I just know that other users do not like people miss-using this portion of xda.

technically this is a question about a general xda thing. You get a free 6 week trial then they charge you if you opt to buy it
As far as I can tell there's yet to be a thread where people share voltage settings for the ICS Glitch kernel. I've been experimenting with mine for the larger part of the day and have yet to find something that is completely stable. So, I ask you fellow Fascinatians, what are you running?
Sir, i direct you to read the icy glitch op. Think you missed something.

I've spent a decent amount of time on that thread already. No where have I seen a thread exclusively for the exchange of voltage settings.

I roam these forums everyday answering questions and gathering knowledge. I am getting used to people posting questions in a thread right under where they have been answered. It has made me one of the rougher xda fascinate members.
this is one of those times i feel i was a little to harsh, just because the link in the v14 thread does not clearly say setup sharing.. But, before touching nstools, you still should have read it.

Has development dropped off or died for the OG, all I see is the same stock roms with mods. Not that I am bashing anyone, but others and myself enjoy Android as it was designed to be not butchered by the carriers and manufactures.

I believe this belongs in general.

Hang out in the IRC channel and you will see people are still working on it. Other than that, when something does get done, you'll definitely see it up here.
Also, just a heads up, this is in the wrong section. Mods will be moving you soon...

Sorry!!!
Need help, how do I move it to General or [email protected]?
A moderator must do it

Read a great article on Android central about it. I suggest everyone head there and take the time to read it.

Hi,
I need 10 posts to report a bug in dev section, this seems for me pretty sensless >_>?
Instead of complaining about the initial posts you need to post outside of general, you could always create a thread in general explaining the bug and somebody else could report it for you. Alternatively, you can also pm the dev of the software you have a bug on.

How exactly is it unfair? It helps to prevent trolling. Sorry if you don't like it. Nobody is forcing you to be an xda member.

Okay buddy don't get that much angry, and it is what I feel and I said that.
Everyone loves XDA and I too have been following it since 2011.

I'm not angry, I just think it's a stupid thing to complain about. I don't think the requirement is over the top.
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Could be over the top for you but think if someone is stuck badly and needs to ask for help from a particular ROM's users then he will have to make 10 posts and that too after time intervals. In most cases his first ten posts would be useless just to bypass that restriction.

Why could this person not pm the dev directly?
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Because developer alone cannot solve everyone's problems and pm are not liked by all the developers. A problem can be better solved by community together rather than a single developer who may or may not read the pm for days whereas atleast few members on thread will in some hours.

I find most devs to be pretty responsive, and I doubt the rule will ever change because it does more good than bad. At least you must be quite a bit closer to your 10 posts thanks to this thread.
