For example, SeekDroid starts up as if new. My battery widget keeps resetting it's settings and one widget disappears completely every time I reboot. Only some do this, 99% of the restore is fine. Any ideas?
EDIT: Disregard. After uninstalling said apps, restarting, reinstalling then restarting again all is fine.

the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly
it keeps FCing and restarting on its own, make the phone un-usable because everytime i try to press a button, it will freeze, put up this FC, and when i click "force close" it will close what i was trying to open, and the cycle starts over again
i'm stock with the new JI6 update via KIES mini, had no problems for 3 days, and last night the phone ran out of batteries while i was out of the house and when i got back, i plugged it in, turned it on and i got this FC as the phone was doing the start-up media scan thing.
it will show this FC everytime i reboot as well
under settings -> manage applications -> running services there is a service called 'contacts storage' which is governed by android.process.acore
that's the only other clue i could dig out
*edit* mine doesn't seem to have anything to do with facebook, however, i can't access my contacts as everytime i try, this FC will force me out of the contacts screen
I've seen them a lot of times. When I get them, I just re-flash a new ROM onto my phone. It usually happens when I do something stupid to my phone.
i didnt do anything to it! everything was working, even after i updated to JI6 ... nothing was broken till it ran out juice yesturday.
I'll get this when I do a Titanium restore and restore the system data by mistake.
This should be in Q&A not development.
Also, try clearing your caches in Clockwork Recovery

I recently updated from Axura 2.1 to 2.2.7.1, and now every time a call finishes, the com.android.phone app force closes, and my network connection resets. The call then doesn't show up in the call log.
I posted in the Axura thread, and they said odin to stock and reflash, so that I did. I was then VERY careful about what I restored in Titanium, as up to that point, I had been restoring everything but system apps. This time, I restored nothing in red, as instructed.
And still, the force close is happening. Also, if I turn on speaker phone, the icon stays on the status bar even after phone force closes, then speaker is on automatically for every call thereafter.
Help Please!
And Thanks in advanced!
Bump anybody?

Its possible you got a bad download. Its a pain but you could try re-downloading and reflashing. After reflashing I would hold off on restoring your titanium back up. See if you can duplicate the issue.
I'm running X10 Eminence and everything's been fine for a while.
Now, I'm finding a lot of apps that cut my wifi/data connection the minute they are opened. The signal is dropped immediately when I open Handscent, Flixter, Weather Channel and I'm sure I'll discover more. Some apps work just fine, but others the network just cuts right off. The minute I go back to the homescreen, data/wifi reconnects.
No one has any clue or has an idea how to fix this?
Is your phone Rooted? if it is, you might have done something wrongly... if not, how bout you try and do a factory reset? backup your stuff 1st
If all else fail, then the problem might be with your SIM card...
My apps are backed up weekly. Restoring them has not helped at all and neither has reinstalling them. My phone has been in the same state of root for months now. All other apps work fine with data - just a select few.
I'd like to avoid having to redo everything again.

Might be related, but I found whenever I killed "Backup & Restore" using any task manager the network would be lost and restart. If I left it alone it seemed fine.
Maybe some apps hook into some autostart thing that monitors network connectivity... ??
Turns out Adblocker was the culprit. I deleted it and everything works fine.
Since I unlocked the bootloader, and re-loaded my apps and system data, the stupid sync / arrow icon in the status bar will not go away... any idea on what process my be causing this, so I can freeze it's ass! Thanks for your help.
Mine has been doing that for over a month. Never could figure out how to fix it. I just froze Contacts Sync 2.2.2 and it seems to do the trick.
I have also noticed TIB automatically freezes ContactsUnconnected 2.2.2 everytime I reboot. Don't know if this is related or not.
No-risk attempt: did you try (in the gmail app) to clear cache / clear data / force stop and then restart gmail?
Edit: Or maybe go to settings->accounts->google and un-tick everything, reboot and then try enabling the syncs again? I'm just throwing ideas..
Yeah I think I tried everything. Even had some motor experts on the motor support forums trying to help. Never could figure it out. I think I left it up for like 4 days and it never shut off. So I just froze it.

So I got bootlooped yesterday, my phone started up, I saw my home screen, then it shut itself off again and restarted. This is weird because I am not messing with any Custom ROMS. I am rooted, unlocked and am using the Stock ROM which I debloated.
Because of this, I deleted cache and Dalvik cache and did a Factory Reset through Amon Ra. Google Locations and the GPS weren't working, and although it had zero VZ bloat, I decided to just restore my Nandroid backup from a week or so ago since the interface seemed a little more familiar.
Once restored, I debloated a little again and restarted the phone multiple times (to make sure I wasn't messing about with any important apps that could be causing the original issue). The phone ended up restarting fine so I thought I was good to go. Then, today, after installing all my apps, and uninstalling the the Watch widget, I came to the HTC bootscreen. However, the phone wasn't really rebooting, the bootscreen just came on and then immediately went to my homescreen. Regardless, I thought I may restart just to check it out. The first time I restarted, I cycled through the homescreens immediately after boot and the phone turned off. Then I booted it up again and although it's running, I am getting no data. The Mobile Network tab is grayed out. I don't know what to do. I really don't want to factory reset again/restore my original nandroid backup.
I tried *228 but it just says that "A Verizon Wireless Sim card has activated your service and updated your phone's roaming capabilities.
So I tried the Bootlooping and Network fix on the stickied thread (sorry just found it on the website, it wasn't on Google). Regardless, I still have a reservation. If I do indeed bootloop again, even without the battery cover on, would I need to do a factory reset? Because that's what happened last time and I really do not want to go through that experience again.
Does you phone stay booted with the battery cover off?

No, it wasn't. It froze and then restarted seemingly 5-8 seconds after arrival on the lock screen and unlocking.
Also, after restoring, the Voice Mail app icon cannot be deleted. I have tried Titanium Back up, and now even though its deleted there, the icon is still visible.
I guess I had a different issue when my phone was bootlooping I was able get it to boot with the covers off then do the network fix (it was on wcdma)
