is there a simple app to keep track of the amount of time its been since you last plugged the phone into an outlet?
just want to know how long my phones been running on battery
i know the phone has a stock battery info on gingerbread but i can have my phone plugged in and it still says running on battery, and you have to pay attention to the lil dots underneath to figure out how long actually its been running on battery
i was using battery snap, which had that option, but according to system panel app, it was drawing way too much CPU/battery
any simple suggestions?
Drainguard. Loads of extra info.

are you using lightflow or any other battery monitoring app?

'alarm' means a wake lock caused by a notification. If your led flashes a wake lock is always caused (on any phone).
It's part of the reason samsung never included led notification lights until now.
As for the battery monitor wake lock I am almost certain its the better battery stats app that causes that.
If you want true reflection of wake locks change the preferences in that app so it shows you time spent in wake lock while screen is off. Any wake lock while the screen is on doesn't really effect the battery anyway...

Hi,
I'm thinking about to come back to an AOSP ROM but I need SmartStay features...can the new app ISeeYou be a good replacement on AOSP ROM? Anyone is using it (PRO version) on aosp? thanks
I know this might sound stupid but have you thought about just creating a widget to lock screen on instead, seems a much better use of battery resources imho, but then I have a real thing about all of Samsungs novelty apps,, so I am biased! Who can watch a video and do other things at the same time?! But hey, that's just me!

No no, I agree with you for the video features but during work it's very usefull for me to use smartstay features...Otherwise, I never thought about this solution, I'm thinking about of setting screen timeout on 5m and even creating a widget to lock screen, is it your way?

Yeah, I just use widgetsoid from the market, what it does is lock screen up to the max timeout, 1hr? So even if you forget to turn off I think it will turn off after 1 hour, and it works even in the dark, .......Samsung

also with widgetsoid I'm pretty sure you can create widget to toggle screen timeout to any of the system presets, even better....why didn't I think of that?! Silly me...doh!

I just installed this on my S3 running CM 10.
It does not work at all. It actually makes it so the screen never turns off.
I'm also using Widget Locker which also has a screen timeout function, and I've tried it with that disabled and enabled.
For reading long articles and playing WordsWith Friends, I would love to gain this feature back.
Any help or tips would be preferred.

Hello guys!
Is it possible to port the screen shot gesture from Galaxy NOte or S3?
When you pass your hand on the screen (obviusly touching it) it takes the screenshot
Thanks

You can try with siyah kernel and its gesture management, that's pretty cool
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
I'm not really sure if either of these are capable of providing screenshot facility, but you could try the kernel-level gesture recognition implemented in Siyah 4.1.5. but for that you'd have to edit the gesture pattern and command script yourself. If you're not comfortable with that, you could try the gesture feature of Go launcher.
But like I said, im not a 100% sure either one would provide the screenshot capability as it doesn't seem as simple as something like locking the screen or making a phonecall.
Hi,
I like Llama very much and I'm currently setting up a periodic turning on and off of the data connection while the screen is off to save battery. This already seems to work, however I would like to show when turning the screen on again how often the data connection was turned on. But something like putting "Synced %SyncCount% times" as reminder text does not seem to work. How can I show this? I would rather not want to install the minimalistic text widget for that.
Also it would be nice to show a toast instead of a reminder.

Is it possible? If not out of the box maybe in combination with another app?

I've been trying to look for a list of llama variables without success. Trying to find a llama variable to detect whether GPS is enabled or disabled.
Any help

Anyway for Llama to show a toast?
Anyway for Llama to show a toast? Either through an Android Intent or Variable? I want to display a message / notification (toast) on my phone when I perform an action.
