I'm wondering if it's possible to add some custom actions to ICS softkey bar... On my tablet would be nice to have next/prev/pause music always visible even in navigation mode with sigic or igo at full screen. Any hint?

found many hints to change color, but no to add custom functions...
I'm also interested in this.
I want to make the menu softkey persistent and tried editing SystemUI.apk (XML and Smali files) with no success.
Can someone help?

The only real thing missing from streakdroid's gingerbread theme is that the menu bar (Im not sure if this is the correct name, but the pop up menu that appears when you hit the menu button/middle button on a streak) is white instead of black.
Does anyone know how to change it's color system-wide? I've read that it can be included per-app with a private api and that it might be possible with ADW launcher/etc. But the best thing would be to modify the main theme files.
I decompiled the framework-res but I couldnt find it there/not sure if that's even there. The icons are identical in streakdroid 1.7.0 and stock gingerbread. The only difference is the color.
Do any themers know how to change the color of the menu bar?
I dont know.. i would like know how can i do this too..!!
Have you find something.. Please Help us!!!
So, basically I'm trying to edit the icons in my status bar (Battery, WiFI, Clock, etc) and soft keys. (Back, menu, search, etc) to reflect Honeycomb. I know it can be done, just look at the various themes and especially the 'Nookiecomb' ROM. I've been trying to do this myself, but have no idea where to begin, nor do I wish to ask someone who has worked so hard to create something, 'Nookiecomb', how I can rape it of its settings/icons/etc for the status bar items.
Any advice or direction of the path I need travel?
I looking for app, mod or tips how to hide ICS status bar while in webtop mode. I tried few apps but all doesn't work. Is there any solution to hide it while watching movie?
To avoid misunderstanding: I'm talking about ICS Webtop mode and status bar on the bottom, not ICS standard drop down notification bar.
Edit: IMO it's stupid to develop that kind of bar which takes about 5 - 10% of screen without possibility to hide it.
Edit: Mod is available:

The HTC One X had issues with games and movies showing on screen buttons while it was in a game/movie, much like the webtop mode does.
there was a patch released that fixed that

Hi everyone
I've seen that is quite easy to enable/disable the Navbar in JB, just adding the qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 string in build.prop file.
What's not easy at all is to modify the navbar, height, buttons number, etc... so i am wondering if there's some kind of application that add these options, without having to change ROM.
I saw the procedure to manually modify the framework-res.apk, but it's not so easy at all...
Wouldn't it be helpful for everyone to have an app like this?
So i just started to customize my Streak, modifying the SystemUI.apk. So far I only managed to modify the notification bar/pull-down.
Some questions i couldn't solve myself, help would be appreciated:
As the lock screen is semi-transparent, my guess is that there could be a PNG-file for its bg. Where to find it to edit it, or am I totally wrong?
Also, where to change the other stuffs shown on the lock screen?
How does the battery icon in the notification bar work? It doesn't appear to be a set of PNG-files like the other objects in the notification bar.
Thanks for your help!
Here's another question:
After using apkmultitool to decompile SystemUI.apk, editing some hexcodes, then recompiling it again, I have no statusbar anymore!
What could be the problem?
