Is there anyone ever try deodex photon using XUltimate 2.3.3 ?
I want to deodex photon stock rom, so i can modified services.jar.

I have used xUltimate to deodex. It works but takes a bit to complete. Be sure to follow the instructions as written.

Hi i use the firmware GT-S5830_XEN_S5830XWKS9_S5830XENKS1_S5830XWKS2 and cf-root but not if I need to patch the file services.jar as discussed in post cf-root

I have a problem is that the update to the ks9 deodex me build.prop shown in KS2.
I understand is that I have the KS2.
with which the file was services.jar udpate.
I can not ask in the post of [UPDATE] DEODEX + ROOT - it `s easy! by Lovetz to clarify why the KS2 build.prop shows instead of ks9.
I think I will make with the program xultimate deodex the ks9 and again raise the services.jar so that when you patch me or tell me how I can do. I do not understand what Neldar say.

I have stock ks9 with cf-root but it's not deodexed. I don't want to lose all my data just to get a deodexed rom. Is there any way to use bln and your patched services.jar if I don't deodex?

Just delete service.odex with Root explorer befor you reboot with pached service.jar.

can you patch one for ddkq6... i am attaching my services.jar but i am not sure if its not modified at all.. like what came with the phone as i have rooted, deodexed and have cfroot

i found a way to deodex sammy 4.0.3 roms (like xxkpa) with dsixda kitchen 0.184
its easy
just download and extract attachment and then replace "deodex_files" folder (in tools folder) with new one
after that just use ordinary way to deodex rom (dont change api)

I did it already for KPA, you will have an issue with 3 files mobileprint,email & exchange, you can get them from kp2.

To deodex mobileprint.apk, email.apk & exchange.apk files in I9100OXALP1 rom, put file java.awt.jar (from attached archive) in your rom framework folder and deodex files with dsixda kitchen.

If it doesn't work,and u will get not enought space ... delete some files from system/app to make 40 MB free space

ADB = Android Debug Bridge
It allows a computer to communicate with your Android device , with the help of a miniUSB cable .
This is where you can get logcats and dmesgs easily

I used that one. I was wondering to do this maybe a sh script without actually taking the whole ROM out like we have for Zipalign init.d script.

There are many forums showing mod files which can be easily flashed into custom roms and doesnt work with stock odex roms
what i want to do is. i want to convert those mods which works for deodexed rom to mods which work for stock odex roms.
i tried finding this on the forum. but couldnt find any.

Sorry mate i don't know of any method of theming or modifying odexed apks so converting mods for deodexed apks into odex is a no go afaik
