I've played around with the performance settings a little bit but haven't really found much improvement in gaming.
Anyone found a good combination that maximizes the performance of our NT?
I guess I'm the only one who tinker's with settings!
What ones are working for you?

I'm looking for a rom that's debloated and optimized. I HATE lag. I'd prefer a gingerbread rom if any of them work properly. I also happen to like the default Charge interface (touchwiz?) quite well, although I've never used the default gingerbread interface.
Suggestions? Mainly what I'm looking for is speed, stability, and a good UI. Something that would help as well is if the rom is good at increasing battery life. Battery life is my only real gripe with this phone. I've made decent use of tasker to shut down gps, bluetooth amongst other things to increase it, but it still pales to my old bb phones possible 2.5 days with low use. While battery life is my main gripe, I'd take extra speed more than anything else. I hate waiting for things to load.
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

No suggestions? I just want what is effectively the exact same phone, just debloated and preferably optimized.
So I installed a CM10 port (found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1803557). Other than being a little buggy, it is surprisingly smooth and full-featured. Getting about 4k Quadrant Standard score. I decided to play w/ the Performance settings a bit and despite selecting 1600Mhz as top clock-speed, it refuses to go above 1300Mhz. Does anyone know if this is a common issue with custom ROMs or specific to Jelly Bean ports? And of course, I would love a work around or fix. I suspect it has something to do with losing access to Asus' own performance settings, like maybe its stuck in power saver or balanced and can't go to Performance mode. Any help or advice is appreciated!
No one else is experiencing an issue like this? Should I try to reflash?
yes i guess it-s normal

hi,
well yes im also using cm10 rom &(no cherry picks one) and it does not go above 1300. even though i wouldnt go mad about it, responsiveness has never been so great, and there are almost no hard tasks for this rom. I have set min to 475 and max on 1300 with interactive gov.
I can say that despite not being at his top performance i-m happy with it and i realized it while playing the latest batman game. it would lag a lot on ics while its pretty fluid now on jb with this settings.
it looks our prime needed this jelly beans. i cant wait till its stable.
tried ez overclock?

Maybe you wanna try ex overclock app, you find it in the development section...
I've toyed around in the past with Supercharger and gotten mixed results, so I was wondering if there was a particular speedup script(and options for it) that work particularly well for the gtab? Running smootherbean if that matters, it's already fairly zippy but I'd love to be able to squeeze out a little more performance.
I have been running Sense on my Rezound since the day the phone launched. I've tried a couple different ROMs but have always gone back to the stock ROM and then removed all the bloat apps, and been very happy with the performance and stability on my phone.
Recently I updated to ICS and the most recent firmware (I was on GB this whole time), and battery life had been sucking pretty bad, so I decided to try a custom kernel. I flashed FunkyKernel 3.7, and, while it didn't do much to help battery life (even with underclocking and undervolting), it did GREATLY improve performance, especially gaming performance.
But, battery life was still MUCH worse than it had been on GB, so I decided to try CM 10.1 and see if a vanilla ROM would fare better. Flashed CM 10.1 and the ROM ran fine, but my graphics performance took a HUGE hit. I've been playing a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog lately (the Android port of the original), and on ICS sense it ran a buttery smooth 60 fps. On CM 10 I'm getting like 15-20 fps. Fired up Quadrant and saw the same results on the graphics tests there. I tried flashing FunkyBean 3.7, and playing with the clock speed and governor settings, but no dice. I enabled "force GPU on 2d" and no dice. I tried suggestions from the CM thread, no dice. Loaded up Shadowgun, and it also ran very poorly, compared to playing on the Sense ROM... very choppy
Has anyone else noticed this? I expected CM to FLY compared to Sense. The home screen and most apps were just fine, no choppiness, no lag that I could really see, only the games really showed any loss of performance. Did I do something wrong? Is it an issue with the drivers?
Cm 10.1 ROMs have a 50/50 gaming performance. Some games are smooth some are not
Now if you want CyanogenMod and great battery life and performance all around than you want a cm9 ROM. I only left cm9 for the new features if cm10.1
So if you use cm10.1 you may need to try different games. But cm9 is perfect but you give up cm10.1 features
Maybe in the future gaming will get fixed. Maybe when ion starts rolling out but who knows..

Ok, at least now I know it's not just my phone or me screwing something up. thank you.
Yup, just try CM9.
I'm a bit lost at the moment, I'm running CrDrroid CM14.1 and love the smoothness but battery doesn't seem that great and neither does Snapchat which I use all the time. Can someone suggest me anything better?
