I usually dont do posts like this but I just had to say I cant wait for my GS2 to get here and finally be rid of sprint! Their speeds here in NYC were great(wimax) but 3g sucked and data was not always consistent. streaming you tube or google music was just painful sometimes. I'm also looking forward to getting back to a GSM device where development is more plentiful. I currently have the Epic 4g touch and am also looking forward to the 4.3 form factor(I prefer it over the 4.52)
It's also nice to have CM available for the device. I've been CM deprived since joining sprint. (had the evo3d first then the GS2/E4gT. I'm looking forward to being apart of the ATT community here on xda.
Is there an irc channel for the ATT GS2?

As for the irc channel, I am not sure. I don't think there is one, but I never use orchestra so maybe I've just crossed over it without thinking.
Im not sure about an irc channel for att gs2 as a whole but several of the devs and cm7 have their own irc channels.

My sister has the AT&T GS2 and I def like the form factor much better than the Sprint GS2. I know most prefer the 4.52 inch screen but it's just too big for my tastes. The 4.3 is perfect in my opinion. If I need anything bigger, I have my tablets for that

Hey even he could help build the roms or theme anything is fine by me. Incubus could work that magic big time on the HTC Incredible ports of myn's rom work right along with the rest of the gang.
Derek always mentioned incubus in the warm thread for the Evo. I know he does a lot for the community and I'm in on donating here as well. These guys put so much time into this and it's totally worth it. Thanks.

Lol, this is true. I believe D made the original thread. I kanged and improved it with images and then Joel came and kanged me, haha Without properly doing the images of course
So any ideas where as which rom ports you will be working on. Just like to get an idea on what I will be paying monthly payments on for a while. Ha! Ha!

OMG Joelz and incubus26jc are are 2 of my favorite devs in the world next to Virus and mike1836. loved these guys on the EVO 3D lets see what they have in store for us for the Rezound XD. im excited to see what antutu scores were gonna get on CM9. On ICS sense were already breaking 6500 stock speeds which is crazy
I may not have had an incredible (eris to rezound) but from the looks of things, i made a pretty darn good decision on this phone lol. Hey Joelz, didnt CondemnedSouls make some roms for the incredible?

The developers ?? This makes all the difference on a device, the skyrocket has finally taken off. How long do you guys think it will take for the note ? Or will it not be embraced by the developers ?? I can't wait to get this monster again only been a week since i sold my n7000 and it feels like its been months

The great thing about XDA is the fact that there are varying degrees of talent here. From those with their first android device, to others who build custom roms. There is even support here for beginners to learn from those more experienced. The responsibility of creating development falls on the community, not just specific individuals in my opinion. As soon as the full rom dump is posted somewhere I would love to try rooting it. Then creating a mod to make it easier for others.
In short, give it time. People willing to work on it will come.
Keep in mind the people that will be moving to the Note.
Biggest groups:
-Dell Streak owners
-HTC Aria owners
-Samsung Captivate owners (just take a look at their dev community)
-a lot of Atrix owners seem to be moving over
I have faith that we'll have a robust dev community very soon. I'm trying to get into developing myself but it's a bit of a learning curve and I have a pretty busy personal life

Dman one of the best Infuse developers is picking up a note.
I think we will be in good shape on the development of great roms.

I don't know about the dell streak devs. Most of the good ones are from the UK or Ukraine . So I don't see many coming from dell streak. Fards has the note but UK version. DJ Steve said he will never buy a Samsung and nop is part of the DSC club.

The device itself is still new. The only real devices that have amazing devs right off the bat are the Galaxy S phones and the Nexus line.
And who is the Infuse dev coming over to the Note?
I would help donate money to help pay for a Note for a dev if needed. Did that for the Atrix and Transformer

my Infuse.

+1 ...we should find a capable dev, start a thread to collect donations and buy him AT&T Note. The only difficulty I see with that plan is that AT&T Note is not available off contract and one would have to marry AT&T for 2 years.
I would *love* to get this guy to develop for Note community, and would have no problem donating something like $50 to get the ball rolling.

Not that I've heard.
Was with AT&T and did great things for the Captivate. Talked about switching to Verizon. But I think he's still developing for the S2 on AT&T.
Most recently made an ICS kernel for the Captivate.

Just wanted to introduce myself not only to the rezound forums but also to XDA. I've known of XDA for a long time and have downloaded many roms/kernels for my Thunderbolt through XDA - as well as used XDA as a good troubleshooting guide, or for just regular insight. I can't believe its taken me this long to actually join/post.
So I just got my Rezound about four days ago, and I love it! Coming from a Thunderbolt, it has a lot to it that feels right at home....but at the same time I can't be more impressed by screen, battery life (while on stock sense not so much), camera, audio quality, and the list goes on. I did love my Tbolt, but my Rezound is my new baby. I'm running Cleanrom Dev Ed (nonsense) and just yesterday I doubled my battery life with it - while still running 4G (what's the point if it was off?). I'm just so glad the support is picking up for this phone, it really is in my opinion one of the best on verizon, even if the galaxy nexus gets a lot (if not all) of the attention.
So anyways, you guys will surely see me around a lot shortly. As well as if anything is ever needed in terms of designs or anything, anybody can message me or contact me, I'm a pretty good graphic designer.
Oh and here's my current setup with Cleanrom, I love nonsense(or close to it).

Wow, when I left the S3, I never thought i would see Scott and Beans again. My S3 was always back and forth on their ROMS.
Great news. I just donated $70 to the Devs of the unlock, but when I get a chance I'll donate to you guys.
I am still using CleanROM on my wife's old GS3 and I have AllianceROM on my old GS3, my two fav devs. It would be awesome if they brought their talent to this great phone. I wish I could pledge but I lost my job and I'm fighting to make ends meet.

if i remember right, both are stock; Beans is optimized with features while Clean is lightweight smooth as butter (i don't speak for the devs and its been a while for me so..ask them?)
Be careful what you wish for with Cleanrom. On the HTC One Max, Note 10.1 2014 Edition and Tab Pro 8.4, he got the device with donations. He put out one Rom and maybe one update and sold the devices very quickly. I had all of those devices but did not donate thankfully. The forums for the devices had some very upset people.
