I was wondering if there is a widget or app that allows you to create frames and then place app shortcuts or widgets on them? I was looking for something that was similar to the wisbar advanced for winmo or the spb shell for winmo. They would allow you to create a square or rectangular frame on the desktop. You could then put app shortcuts or widgets on top of the frame.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a widget, similar to the stock YouTube scollable widget, that would allow me to scroll through a folder of PDFs. Ideally it would use previews of page 1 as the widget picture.
That would be awesome.
Thanks.
Hi, I have a very specific project in mind and i would like to know if its in any way possible for desktop visualizer to access launcher replacement shortcuts like launcherpro's next screen or adw's screen links. They don't appear in the system's shortcut list when being accessed by DV or other apps.
Can i create my own shortcut to another homescreen?
Does another launcher have the ability to link to other screens as well as resizing and customizin those links?
I want to arrange my different screens for different activities and be able to click an oversized text link on a central screen to access those screens. I know swiping is easy but this project is a pet peeve of mine.
I don't know coding but I would learn if it would mean I could achieve this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What I want is a configurable cascadable app organizer and launcher for the Gear S.
First it's a fully standalone app.
Next it should be compatable with an app shortcut from watch styler,
and it should realize which Watch Styler app shortcut (#) it was invoked by.
Then it should have a full screen of app shortcuts (a settable number 4,6,9,12),
with user settable text/image to help organize the apps by use or type.
If you invoked this app directly, not from a shortcut,
you might get a master screen that has a app settings icon
and number app shortcuts a user could then make, if they wished,
match app shortcuts that the user setup on clock face.
Then each new settable shortcut could select another app, even another copy of this app,
the app should also get a copy of the icon of the app that it has been configured to shortcut to.
This is an attempt to get number apps on a number of SMALL screens organized for a specific users usage.
It's just and idea, and I am NOT going to develop it.
I would buy it though!

I have a 1x3 space on my home screen that could be filled with app shortcuts that can be scrolled vertically so I can add more than 3 shortcuts in that space. Note that I'm not looking for a folder implementation where clicking it opens a drawer. Anyone know of any such widgets?
Launchy might be what you're looking for

Guys, this is really doing my head in. I downloaded Playlist Shortcuts for Spotify and I can create a shortcut to a Spotify Playlist on my regular homescreen (HTC Mate M9). However this phone is installed in my car and I run Automate Car Launcher.
Ive downloaded a bunch of different floating side bars and apps like Assistive Android/Touch Pro etc but there seems no way to add this kind of shortcut to them.
On my S7 Edge, using Edge TaskBar, you can add a homescreen short cut. But for the life I've me I can find nothing in the playstore that enables you to add a homescreen shortcut to it.
Is there any sneaky way to add a homescreen shortcut into the standard shortcut list in Android?
Or can I use Tasker to somehow make this shortcut look like an App?
Hope someone can help.
Thanks Kindly
