is there a longer lasting battery for the galaxy note?

yes! 10 char

I believe Mugen Power has a slim extended battery at 2650mah.

That's with 30 percent left and moderate usage of battery...

you guys think this is a gimmick? http://www.ebay.com/itm/5200mah-Ext...ccessories&hash=item4cfeb50af4#ht_2436wt_1161
I don't usually buy cheap stuff... but if there are three 1500mah batteries, or even two 2500mah's underneath that label im sure it would still last...
what you think?

the stock battery lasts hella long.. I can't imagine the need for an extended one.
They have an extra battery with external charger from sprint for $49.99 you have to ask for it though it is only available for direct ship to your house.

EBay has 1950 mAh slims for cheap. At $7 it would be worth it to try.

[Q] Where to get cheap batteries

Hello!
Does anybody know where I can get a cheap battery replacement for my vibrant?
I was thinking of upgrading my phone to a galaxy S2 tmobile version but its too pricey now so:
1) Should its price go down in a couple weeks when new phones are released at CES
2) Where can I get cheap batteries for my vibrant? The current battery is barely holding charge. 7 hours on LIthium-ion, battery calibrated,juice-defender on and its dead.
+ GPS doesn't work and drains the crap out of it!
The one on samsungs site is 40 dollars Kind of a lot to beef up an old phone.
Thanks so much!
~Cheers
Jonathan
Ebay and Amazon have tons, I'm sure you can find some under $10.

Don't mind waiting for long shipping from Hong Kong then definitely eBay. 10 bucks got me 2 and a charger shipped. 3 weeks I think it took.

Always a choice -> buy 12 batteries for 9$ to last for year or buy one good quality from Seidio or Mugen Power for 40$ and last for a year. What is better do you think? For Vibrant check this [HLI-Si9000SL ]

hate to be cynical, but a good percentage of the after market batteries are China made. Only the high end batteries are made from Japan. Even the OEM batteries are technically made in China. (even tho they like to write, "Designed in...." another country. Take Apple for example. or Samsung)
battery
The picture of the battery from the link you posted clearly says "made in china" I'd still like to know how you make out with this though. I think i have a defective battery from samsung because i don't seem to get nearly the time as everyone else seems to get on this site
Thanks so much for this link. However, I'm skeptical since it's so cheap. I'm gonna wait till some other order this and review it. I've always paid way too much for extended batteries from seidio for my former EVO phones and am tired of it. So I'm gonna watch this closely.
I have kept my GPS ,Bluetooth, data on all day. I watch over 2hrs worth of videos and been on the internet all day. I charged it for the first time last night and I want to drain it 100% today. 16hrs of extra heavy usage and I still have 11% of battery remaining.
Cons - cheep back cover very thin plastic.
Will update after a few days.

Just received mine today... the back plate doesn't quite fit correctly. The right side of the back plate doesn't clip in flush.
EDIT: after some aggressive pushing the the backplate it seems to have all clipped in. For less than $9, I can't complain on the fitment. Its pretty impressive. I'll report back in a few days after the battery has cycled to show results.

Ordered this also. For $10 shipped it's worth a shot. The tough to install back cover seems pretty common in these bargain extended batteries, but if it fits who cares. If it works as well as I hope it will, i will consider modding my Seido Active case. With the right application of heat and cutting, I may get something to work. Said it's shipping from their international warehouse whereas the other batteries I ordered for wifes tmo exhibit2 are shipping from stateside warehouse. Was hoping for fast delivery but that's out the window.
I will say this battery is pretty good so far. I'm at 17% battery and at around 5 hours screen on time. Full sync, all location setting on except GPS, etc. Not trying to save battery at all.
Does anyone notice the battery jumping up slightly? Sometimes it will go from 30% to 29%, then back up to 30-31%. Gonna ride it out till its completely dead and recharge.
Sucks that I have no case on it, so I ordered an aluminum bumper.

Probably not fake capacity. Look at the size of it. Fake would be 4000mAh in a standar size, but not something like this. My friend had simmilar bat some time ago for HTC G1 and that battery realy last longer.

Yup, Mugen is the best. That is why they can charge $90. Fake counterfeit batteries are usually in the $10-$15 range. These are quality batteries. If you want quality then this is the one to go for.

Only draw back is it adds to the weight. But 4 days worth of heavy use will always be heavy
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
I second the Zerolemon. It's heavier but I barely pay attention to my battery now and just charge it every other day or so with plenty of charge left for at least another day. The case included also feels nice and doesn't make the phone awkwardly shaped like some extended batteries.

A little more than double the size of your phone, PLUS it also has an extra battery cover so you can use your stock battery, so it looks like you have a protective case ala otterbox on your phone.
ZeroLemon rocks
Anker w/ otterbox defender mod. Minimal thickness and double the battery. I had zerolemon in my note 2 but it's kind of embarrassing to carry around a brick.

The ZeroLemon is going to be the best battery for the OP.
Ignore any battery claiming to be the same size as the OEM with more mAh. There is no such thing as craming 30 percent more mAh in the same size battery.

I'm also a fan of Anker batteries.
I should also be clear that it's not the same size as a regular size battery which is why you need to mod the otterbox defender case to use it. But, once finished you can hardly tell there's a larger battery within the otterbox.

The Anker is a BATTERY.
The Mophie is a BATTERY PACK.
The Anker battery performs as a replacement for the OEM battery. The Mophie is a charging battery to refresh the OEM battery. It connects to the phone via the charging port.
I love my Anker 6400 mah battery for my Note 3. The Zero Lemon is great as well but I didn't want my phone to be too bulky. I get about 9 hours of screen time a say from my Anker battery. Awesome.

I ordered this case. Its a neat concept if it works. Even if battery capacity increases by 1500 mA (instead of 2900 mA), it is a significant addition. The best part is NFC functionality is not compromised and so is S-View.
