i don't know about ohter ROMs but this works perfect with GingerXperia and (OBVIOUSLY) with stock 2.1 rom of x8/w8 !!

Installs on GingerDx V023 but very very laggy , unstable and the four corners are distorted. Not fixed even after reboot
The corners are distorted on gingerdx because gdx doesnt have a sony based framework. Only semc debrand ,gingercruzt,some versions of gingerxperia and fde have sony style framework

Err... X8 also comes with Timescape. Also, everywhere I looked, it said that W8 will come with 2.1, not 2.2.

i think you mean the mediascape app?? and if the w8 comes with that, it would most likely be ported by the devs here , can't wait for that little phone to give the x8 the glory it deserves

Srom-2.3.3GingerbreadX8-V2 by stelios97&zousoum96 has Timescape, but i dont know, does it work well or not.

Yes i can..maybe some rom maker cause dev are too much busy with kernel,roms,bootloader ecc..i will pm wolf and achotjan but in mean time i will take a look at the app and i will analize the sources to find out some idea! If i will have something to manipolate i will open a new thread!

The retail Launcher is smooth for me. But it only works on 2.2+, there is a ARC Launcher that works on all ROMs but its the one from first dump and its a little bit laggy, so do you mean the first one or the latest ARC Launcher like the one that is included in my ROM?`
I downloaded wb rom, rebuilded it and make in my own tuning, launcher is great working if you only want i give you my arc launcher.

Yes i'm talking about last retail launcher..it is quite smooth but if you compare homescreens scroll with other launcher you can see that our phone can do it better..so guys,do you think that if we open the apk and try to optimized the sources could we have a better launcher?or is this a stupid idea?

If this idea will be considered, a new thread will be perfect! I think that this can also be usefull for 2.3 SE update..cause watching the official se preview of the new firmware seems that the home is not so fast and with quality scroll! In conclusion,if someone have time and want to take part at this operation will be good..so we can share files ect..let me know..

Yeah for 2.3 it will help personally i love arc launcher but the laggs i can't take it i mean i use lpp and live wallpapers 0 lagg on arc launcher half my lwp makes me laagg hardcore until i kill all apps --

I put it in system/app via system cleaner and it works perfect....(i ran it on cm7 for neo v not on stock)
Old news, i have used that on my old x10i
but my meaning is that this homelauncher is crappy,
i love the stock launcher what sony have now.

yea and huawei launchers work too,but they're crappy like this one.
oh and dell launcher works too...I bet there are more launchers that do work with our neo,but they aren't as good as se launchers
