Phone Number - Motorola Droid RAZR

Ok guys anyone out there who can help me when i go to settings then about phone status in the my phone number its not there ?

Im pretty sure thats to do with your sim card. I had that issue a while back.
And the way I fixed it was put it in an old nokia. And save the number as you. Or something along those lines. You can google it and it should be easy enough to find.

Thanks for that will try that cheers

I did update the number in my sim card when i had a nexus one with CM7 on it. Somewhere in the menus, CM7 had this possibility.
Try to search about this on the nexus forums, maybe you get a better hint

Please help, Vibrant does not recognize sim.....[SOLVED, FOR NOW]

I have a Vibrant that i use as a back up phone since i am using the Galaxy Tab 7.7 as my everyday phone. I am using Straight Talk sim on the tab. I wanted to use the Vibrant this weekend and now i get a message when trying to set up the Straight Talk APN "Insert SIM card to access network services". The Vibrant is unlocked so i dont see that being the issue. Any suggestions, i dont want the Vibrant to have gone to waste

Ics update gone wrong(pin problem)

Hello everyone,
Last night we updated an s2 to the original ics, using the ota.all went well during the presidure, but later we found out that it can't receive calls, or make any calls, and it cannot register to the network. The Sim is greek, and the phone was never flashed with room in the past, everything was original from Samsung.
Amy ideas?
But it does ask for pin code and reads the sim card?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
No pin, doesn't ask for it.nor locs the screen.
I looked in apn and there is nothing there.
So it doesn't recognize sim card?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
I guess not.
But we have replaced it with a brand new card, same number and network.
And is the new card working?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Have you tried to input a new APN? You can get the specific APN for your carrier with an internet search or a phone call to your carrier.
The new is not working either.i tried the apns ,i have the same carrier. But it is not able to save them.
The phone is working fine when i put my own sim in it.
Go to about phone and see if your imei is empty. If it is empty then your efs got corrupt and I guess ypu don't have backup of it. If you do have a backup then restore it. Otherwise I hope you still have warranty left as your going to need it.

Imei is there, checked it with both cards
So, after searching alot,i have found out, that if i disable pin it all works fine. But the screen doesn't lock, and i can't use pin.As soon as i enable pin again then no more calls.
Any ideas?

I've had this problem too, so try this. Click on roaming, and if that doesn't work, take you sim card out and put it back in, and see if that. good luck! Ultimately I think it's a card problem, and if it happens to me again, I'm going to Verizon and getting another sim

SIM card issue is back

Did the update a couple of days ago and now the SIM card will not read. Took it to Verizon and asked if the update had anything to do with this issue and they looked at me with a blank face...so now I pose the question...
Does anyone else have SIM card issues? I have a warranty replacement on the way but thought I would ask to see if there is a real issue or just a random SIM slot failure.

Permanent solution is to get a new Sim tray from HTC. They made a thicker one and if you contact their support and ask for it they will send you one out for free. Then you won't get any Sim card errors anymore.

I put tape on the back of mine and haven't had an issue since. It's a good temp solution while you wait on the new tray.
