hi there. I can see some devs and some ROMporter has managed to include the adreno libs to their ROMS. is there any way to get the hands on these drivers and integrate them to our builds not being ICS? or do we require a kernel tweak? build tweak? or a new ROM rebuild? I tried those from doomLord but 3d got capped.
can't see the fuzz with ICS when our builds works better than stock.
They are SPECIALLY made for ICS by qualcomm, for using by developers. You can't use 'em on stock. And there is no need to. They are the same, in the way of performance.

I really appreciate you wanna work on this, but I'm sure I speak for the community when I say that I hope you can develop a froyo or gingerbread rom with sense. Also sense 3.0 would be nice...

sorry to say this dude
but if it is eclair stop with porting
GSM will not be working ever until you find out how to add the GSM part to the frameworks HTC use a weird way for it in eclair
it is better to try 2.2 or 2.3 that Sense ROMS don't have weird GSM inside the frameworks

Well i will find a Froyo Based one then
the easiest one would be to port tatoo or legend from htc. so take a look at these first.

problem on 2.2 is the audio libs they are routed very weird
2.3 from wildfire S is best but you have to resize a ****load
but you can try to build a new audio lib for 2.2

I dont know how to build a audio lib.
And in 2.3 from Wildfire S is it changing in the XML Files?
Hey should be fine with libaudio from any froyo build, even stock libaudio should work its not prelinked. Unless htc calls function not exisiting in our libaudio.
Resizing the framework is a finetuning you can do this later. Just use the framework as is.

like i said need a new lib audio builded
also when you build it get prelinks from the htc replace some parts of prelinks with CM6
then grab the prelinks audip lib and camera lib
this way you fix camera using prelinks that will give more stability and will rout the audio correctly
Forget this rom, il add another soon

I can't be not be mad, sorry...
If you now just add modules or some apps to /system/app as "rom feature" and cook it into a previously made system.img this is no development... this is - uh - more or less something you can do yourself.
I personally don't like this idea. If I would share every little experiment I am doing to train myself or else...
So if you may be so nice to tell us what's the purpose of your rom? What advantages will it bring to the community? adding small features to the stock rom could be done without building a full rom, it may be done better making a patch file that also can be flashed but is smaller in size...

Hey all...
Now that the official ICS has seen light of day, can I request some dev to make an official AOSP ICS ROM port from the GNEXUS devices...
In fact, I don't mind doing it myself if anyone can just point me in the right direction...I went through the guide here to port ROMs, but the thing is, all the downloaded stock ROMs are .img files and don't contain folders I can edit...
Who can help me...again, I don't mind making an attempt myself...any1??

If you are on cdma (i don't see you are american so i doubt it) on droidhive there is a cm9 based on ics so camcodere hw accel etc, if you are on gsm there is only the miui. The dev have some problem making the data working with the gsm patch on ics. So you can use the miui or wait the dev can fix the gsm patch (or if you are good on this help them fix it )

Again..what ROM are u talking about plz...I am on DroidTh3Ory's AXIOM COMPLX...but the one ur talking about is??
EDIT: This is also CDMA and I used the patch...works great on this one...
Hi Guys.. i looked around and the only thing i found similar to this is another post about adreno 205 .. but this time the libs are a bit newer.. these libs are from jb to ics.. and i think the another thread are just new ics libs..
well.. by flashing this libs you get faster gaming (less lag), more quality, better gpu speed.. but dont forget to tick GPU acceleration at developer options in phone
just flash them via CWM : http://www.mediafire.com/?r7ttrjbcknb6shm
PD. i dont really know if these libs are better than the another ones already posted, but i can guarantee they are diferent libs, since these are 1.66 MB and another ones are 2.2 MB.. you will need to try it by yourself..i used these libs in mi rom and it got rlly fast..i can play games like dead trigger (cpu at 1024~1024) with no much lag ..
Is it only for stock ROM's or can we install it on CM10?

no need to say sorry, I'm just giving you info cos I saw you made same mistake several times! I'm not great in that field either! :good:
is it really that useful...
better wait for confirmation from a developer...
I've recompiled Bionic libc with using modern routines(memcpy(),memcmp(),strlen(),strcmp(), etc.) for our arch.
That libs raise memory and floating performance.
I think, it could be useful for someone,so sharing it now.
How to install:flash via CWM.
This libs compatible with ICS,theoretically they should work on any ICS ROM,but I tested them only on stock ICS ROM with stock .54 kernel and on Owl kernel.
Notice:Those libs integrated into Owl kernel,no need to flash that again.

Awesome, they work really nice on stock .100 ICS, the phone lags a lot less, thanks.

I can say, it really works, is a little bit less laggy but you can still notice the difference. It will not make the phone faster, but it helps a lot to have it less laggy. Tested on my Xperia U st25a .100 ICS Stock bootloader locked.
the phone runs without any lags now
