SMS thread split - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

On some custom ICS ROMs (like Resurection ROM) SMS threads for some of the contacts (2-3 contacts) splits on 2 threads after I restore it from backup (SMS Resore & BackUp application)... On the one thread - received messages, on the second thread - sent messages!
But for example it doesn't appear on the Wanam ROM.
I tried to ask people from appropriate threads (Wanam, Resurection) but there are no result!
I don't know what to do, where to ask - but I'm tired - how to solve it???
Why Resurection ROM has it (problem) but Wanam hasn't???

[Q] TripNMiUI "Iris" 1.3.0 Froyo SMS problem

Hello
I'm new to the custom ROM's, but im really happy with TripNMUI from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1085918
But im having a problem when trying to send long messages, normally it would automatically convert to multiple messages and send them together, but now i can only send single(short) messages. Is there a fix to this?
Also, being new, i didnt install the "FreeKernel-MOD 01 addon", should this have been done? And if so does it have to be before flashing the ROM or can i still make it?
Cheers!
Hi, I remember that when I first installed this rom I had problems using the standard sms funcionality. The language was set to italian. I switched it to english and it was fixed. Don't know why. But the app crashed in my case. I understand that your case is different though.

[Q] "[ROM][CWM][XXLPQ/DXLP7][ICS][4.0.3] Odexed & Deodexed Stock Roms" calendar???

[Q] "[ROM][CWM][XXLPQ/DXLP7][ICS][4.0.3] Odexed & Deodexed Stock Roms" calendar???
Hi,
I've installed ROM that I mention on the title and I have a problem that my calendar is missing? Why it is missing and how to get it back? I would have made this question in that wanam's thread but still missing my 10th post...
the same here...
Yes the problem is with stock PQ / P7 as well as the cooked ones.
I have to try the odexed instead of deodexed...may worth trying.
The strange thing is that nobody reported this issue all are talking of icons color or ics color and lauchers...! and AOSP horrible white and raw mail / exchange and other apps...
Please notify if you manage to get calendar back, because I'm desperate and I need that calendar...
Can anyone help with my calendar?

I9100G modems? mms bug? [CM9]

I'm looking for a modem for my I9100G for the US. People seem to have trouble hearing me during calls and I can never receive MMS picture messages, it simply gives me a button to download the picture, then gives me a notification saying "Couldn't download message (No Subject) from.." It's very frustrating. I'm running the latest version of CM9.
yo durrik
did you try to ICS modems in cyanogenmod 9 i9100g rom page.there were two in the download section one is ZCLP7 and the other is DDLP5
As the previous user has said, there are currently 2 modems available in the CM9 thread.
ZCLP7 - http://teamhacksung.org/download/samsung/GT-I9100G/radio-cm-9-ZCLP7-i9100g-signed.zip
DDLP5 - http://teamhacksung.org/download/samsung/GT-I9100G/radio-cm-9-LP5-i9100g-signed.zip
Try to at least read the whole thread before making a new thread, and asking for something which is clearly in the main thread itself. Flash either of the modems with ClockworkMod Recovery and you're good to go. It's advisable to try both and see which one works best for you.

After install mods SMS not delivering messages

On my Samsung Galaxy S III I9300 (international) phone, i have recently installed:
- Omega Rom v5.2
- Speedmod (Kernel)
- Motomoto00 (Theme)
- Custom Boot animation
- Remove sms from call log (Mod)
- Camera_HX-MOD (mod)
After installing these things onto my phone they work perfectly fine but my SMS messages are not getting delivered. They only get delivered when i reboot my phone but after reboot, the messages do not send.
Any fixes or solutions to this problem?
(I use the messages+ app)
I'd guess one of your mods broke the framework, most likely is the SMS mod but any mod with the wrong build version can do it.
If you didn't back up the old files before flashing the mods then best roll back to an earlier nandroid, try applying one mod a time until it breaks again.
Your mixture of mods is probably unique to you, so I doubt there is an easier fix - unless someone has posted on the same issue in one of those individual mod threads.

My facebook push notifications now stopped working as well.
As the advice above said, the only way to find out what is causing it is to restore back to before the problem, then one by one add the mods until the problem re-appears.

Can't Send SMS messages but can receive

Hello i am having a problem with sending SMS messages about a month now.
I narrowed down the fault being the Custom Rom i run.
Phone : S3 I9300 ( International)
ROM : Unofficial CM 13 SaberMod
Rom Link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-temaseks-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-t3286265

Tried Fresh Install of the ROM
Tried Removing and inserting the sim
Tired of not finding a solution
