Try:
Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All (tab) > Gallery > Clear data
Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All (tab) > Gallery > Clear cache
You could also try a Settings reset or a Factory data reset (both are in Settings > Privacy), but that's probably an overkill. Just make sure you backup your important data before doing these resets.
But note that QuickPic is actually better than the default Android Gallery application.

Yeah... Why bother fixing the stock gallery??? Quickpic is way better...

Reboot for many time already
Any suggestion ?
reboot is not the answer!
my phones is only 2 days old and i would seriously hope that rebooting it after only 2 days is the answer to fix my problem.

Gallery bug?

Okay here is the problem.. A few months ago, I'm still using original FW from Samsung (GB, 2.3.3).. And out of the blue, this problem occur in my gallery apps (see the red circle in the right;when I view that image, there are nothing to display..) The annoying thing is when I delete that file, it disappear for a moment.. But when I close the gallery apps and opened it again, the files come back again
So I decided to upgrade my FW using custom ROM and rooted my phone. And voila, the annoying thing was gone.. But out of the blue again, the problem came back, and now with another one (in the past there were two, but now become three) I'm just curious how to delete this files, because no matter what, it always come back, and I can't find it either using root explorer.. I know this problem may be solved by freezing gallery via Titanium and using another gallery apps in play store.. But I just wanna use Samsung stock gallery as my image viewer.. Anyone had the same problem with me? Thanks!
sometime i have this trouble, but i replace Gallery to Quickpic and it fixed

Yeah, I did that too before.. But I still think that original Samsung stock gallery was the best image viewer for me =P
One of my friends had the same problem, but the difference is he find that weird annoying thing in the gallery folder (I didn't know which one he used.. My files or root explorer or something else like that) and succesfully delete it.. But as I mention before, I can't find it through root explorer =(
Clearing Cache might help Settings > applications> All >Gallery > clear cache.

Remove Samsung Mobile browser favourite?

Hi,
Must say I'm very happy with my Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300), but some things about Samsung are just very #!|||=*^!~``(*#
Does anyone know how to remove the Samsung Mobile favorite in the browser???
I was organizing my favorites and discovered that this particular favorite cannot be removed???
Samsung Mobile (http://mmm.samsung.nl.fav) (the Netherlands). Anyone else noticed this and found it as annoying as I do???
Please come up with a solutions someone cause it's irritating the $^%@#^$^# out of me
Thanx
First close browser then:
Settings - Application manager - All
Scroll to Application "Internet" and select it, clear data and cache
Now you can remove the stock favorite

:good::good:Thanks a lot!!!:good::good:
It sounds like you have the solution there, (un)fortunately I bricked my phone last night.
Had to do a factory reset and installed a later stock firmware (I9300XXBLFB) which doesn't have any stock favorite.
Nevertheless I'm grateful for your response and hope it might help someone else who is still bothered by the same problem.

[Q] Whatsapp Can't Upload Photo

I think I originally placed this under the wrong forum so here we go again!
Good Morning All!
As per the subject, I'm having trouble uploading a photo onto my Whatsapp profile. Keeps saying 'Failed to upload Image data' Try again later'.
Can anyone help at all please. I've tried loads of things to no avail.
Many thanks,
Pedro

A few things to try (I'm sure you've done them already but just in case)...
1. Scale the image to different sizes before saving.
2. Make sure your wifi or data is on, as the app sometimes needs to consult with whatsapp servers for operations like that.
3. Make a backup of the app. Then go to Settings > Apps > select Whatsapp and then 'Clear Data'. See if that's fixed it.
4. If not, as a last result, after backing up your app data, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.
5. Make sure it's the most up to date version from the play store.
6. If you have a custom recovery, you could try to fix permissions from TWRP or CWM.
7. Shout loudly at it and make threatening gestures. :silly:
I'll install it and see if I can reproduce the problem.
EDIT: Installed it and was able to upload profile photo without problem. Sorry.
Really appreciate the advice, I really do. None of it has worked though!
Bloody annoying....
Bugger. I wonder if it's not WhatsApp, but your gallery app that's the issue? Have you tried using something like QuickPic perhaps? Just a thought...

Same again! Using Quick pic.
Could it be that I don't have an SD card in the phone yet?

Yeah you'll need a SD card for that.
I found a fix for that on my tab... I don't remember it right now, I'll post it tomorrow...

Wahey! Perhaps I should've mentioned that from the start so apologies there.
Ordered a Sandisk 8GB Micro SD yesterday anyhow for £5.50 which I thought was a good price. Apparently, originally £18 or so.
Mine doesn't work either on my Company Wifi. Interesting part is that Windows Phone, Blackberry folks can upload and send photos without a prob. Just the android clients are having this problem.
works only from internal sd with me. from external sd i get error massage. hope it helps
on my sgs4
Hey. I started encountering the same problem. I cant change my profile picture and i cant send pics to anyone. I am using a custom rom on my sgs4 and i WAS using whatsapp reborn when this problem occurred. Even after switching to the original one didn't solve the issue. I reinstalled the rom, reinstalled whatsapp after clearing all the date and cache. But nothing seems to work. Any ideas why this is happening?
hi all
hi Pedro, just disable the developer option..to do that go to settings, more, developer option and disable it..see if that works..
Try this; Settings > App Manager > "Go to the App. Permission screen to change permission for individual apps." > WhatsApp > Shared files - - ON.
