Hi,
I have unlocked my bootloader with Lukas9 method , i can flash any kernel , but my radio signal is low and drop every time , my phone is Unlocked in factory
thx
Got the right baseband for your rom?
If you can boot into the rom it doesn't sound like your bootloader is knackered.
yes , my baseband is the correct
Which rom, kernel and baseband are you using?
i have tested all rom's here in XDA , i try to use all the kernels too , i try relock my bootloader , i tryed all things u can imagine
i guess i can repair my phone just with SeTool box
I have the same problem, my signal is droping everytime, I followed 9Lukas5 tutorial to unlock bootloader, I tried wolf and doomlord's roms, and now I'm on freexperia project rom and kernel, still the same... I tried reflashing baseband 2.1.71, reflashed kernel and rom, but still the same problem.
Any suggestions?

I tried that as well, I also tried locking it back and flashed stock kernel and stock rom, result was the same, I'm still losing signal very often.
Have you tried locking it again and then using SEUS to update to the latest stock firmware and see if it is still happening?
Hi all.
I need/want to bootloader unlock my friends X10 that is (currently) running the latest stock firmware. It is currently running 3.0.1.G.0.75 Orange UK branded firmware, but by the time Im done with ready for flashing kernels and ROMs, it will be running 3.0.1.G.0.75 generic UK (either by editing the build.prop or flashing it with flashtool should multiupload.com suddenly become online again - but thats minor details as far as I can tell)
Unfortunately when my friend brought the phone, it was SIM locked (to orange as far as Im aware (its a white one and "supposed" to be "orange exclusive")) so I have unlocked it using Omnius as my friend uses O2.
After discovering how much nicer my X10 Mini Pro is with a custom ROM on it, he too has decided to take to the custom ROM route.
However, most of the ROMs now appear to rely on a custom kernel or an unlocked bootloader for obvious reasons.
I have installed the latest flashtool (Flashtool version 0.6.7.0), and noticed about the "plugins>unlock bootloader" . Even more curious, I decided to open the folder where it is installed, and noticed in the custom\features\UnlockBL\files\qsd8250 directory, there is a file called qsd8250bootwrite_omniusSL (along with setool's and SEMC's ones obviously) and what appears to be various scripts, which I assume checks for the type of certificate, then flashes what it needs to the phone.
My main questions are:
1 If I unlock using flashtool, would the radio signals stop working?
2 Will this affect the unlock status of the phone? Example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19322815&postcount=224
I have tried searching for just about anything to do with omnius and bootloader unlocking, but only to find that Ive gotten lost in so many threads saying different things, Im not sure what to believe any more
I know this is for a different chipset (well, its a different phone) but just a taste of what I have found out:

hey i have the same problem..unlocked using omnius but when i do run the unlockBL it just says the warn: something something unidentified aborting process. and aborts

Almost a year later, and the phone now being mine (and Ive got plenty of spare phones), I decided to take a "risk" on the above phone using Flashtool version 0.9.10.1:

1 Its unlocked the bootloader fine as far as I can tell; I havent actually installed a custom kernel (or a custom ROM for that matter) yet as I have yet to choose one - and yes I know theres a custom kernel already in flashtool. I dont seem to have any problems with signal on the phone using the stock firmware.
2 Phone seems to have kept unlocked. However at the moment I dont have another SIM to test it with, but the service menu certainly suggests that it hasnt lost its unlock.
Hope this helps someone else!
I'd like to confirm that if you SIM unlock with Omnius, you should definitely BLU with the latest Flashtool since it is compatible with Omnius. If you try any other BLU method (SEMC, Setool2), you WILL lose radio and the only way to get radio back is to SIM unlock with Omnius again.
Since then, I have been able to flash stock and custom ROMs/kernels successfully, while maintaining a working radio.
Ok. I have searched for hours and hours with no result. I have a Sony Ericsson X10a ATT labeled phone. i got it booting to the Xperia logo and no further. I was able to get the global generic x10i rom flashed to it so it would at least boot into android. it does not have a signal and says the sim will not work with att network. what ive done:
Flashed Global generic x10i 2.1a rom with flashtool 0.8 (the only stock firmware link that works)
Rooted with flashtool
s1tool reports NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE
Ive tried to force SPCC to flash stock rom
Update service says its up to date
I can get it into flashmode no problem, it does boot normally into android, i can get into recovery with cwm5
it has no signal as of now.
Flashtool reports it as rooted.
I need to get this thing at least back to stock and working with a north american at&t sim card. if i can get a custom rom, great, if not ill deal with stock. if its SOL, its going thru the chipper
my hat is off to developers and programmers but I can do without the "you should of done this or that." i really appreciate any help. i just need to get it working thanks in advance

1) can you post your baseband and firmware you are using right now??
2) try relocking bootloader using flashtool and see if you get your signal back

I guess you are on 2.1 firmware. So the baseband is right.
The only option is relocking bootloader via flashtool.

yeah 2.1 update1 and again no luck. this is really irritating. i dont understand why this isnt connecting to the network. if i could get my hands on a stock rom that is exactly for this phone and carrier it should work but all the links are dead for the files i want

the problem isnt the stock firmware.
I the problem is you tried to unlock bootloader for a sim locked phone and because of that it has messed up.
AS you have got NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE in s1tool you shouldnt have tried to unlock bootloader,
I am sorry I have no other ideas for it.
I advise to contact in this thread.

No problem.
If you have NOT RECOGNIZED SIMLOCK CERTIFICATE in s1tool then you shouldnt unlock bootloader. If u do so you lose your signal which cannot be recovered by usual flashing methods like going to stock.
Hi all,
I've read a couple of stickies, and been through quite a bit of threads here at XDA, and I still can't find my answer. I hope that this is the right place for questions, if not, please excuse my ignorance and move it to the correct forum.
Here's my problem:
I have an Xperia Mini Pro (SK17a), locked to Rogers. It's one of the phone models that don't have the ICS upgrade. Perhaps I can blame that on Rogers, but then again, I can blame a lot of things on Rogers. I've been waiting for the ICS upgrade for quite a while, and now I'm just going to take this into my own hands and install a custom rom.
My understanding of this is that unlocking the bootloader will make my life much easier, and it's what I intend to do. The thing is, I'm SIM-locked to that god-awful company Rogers. From my 'research', I've read a bunch of stories and stuff, but nothing that gives me a definite answer. Do I have to have my phone SIM-unlocked to unlock my bootloader? (For either the official SE unlocking service and Test Point method). Will SIM-Unlocking also sever any bonds that connect my phone to Rogers? If that's the case, then I might just be able to update via PC Companion, which I can settle for if it takes less work than unlocking the bootloader.
My efforts in trying to update via FlashTool (and the official ICS .ftf) were futile, resulting in Flashtool giving me an unsatisfactory "ERROR- Error flashing. Aborted", which I think may be because my bootloader is locked, or I'm SIM-locked to Rogers.
(Using the latest version of flashtool)
Currently, my phone is running the latest stock Gingerbread, with root and CWM.
This ties in nicely to my next question, regarding Recoverys.
When I read the thread pertaining to CWM on the Mini Pro, it said that it should only be installed on a stock rom. Would this mean that CWM isn't used with custom roms? I find this to be stupid, as then you wouldn't be able to access the Recovery menu when **** actually turns bad, and you've got to flash a stable rom in a pinch.
That's all for now, thanks in advance.
-Dillon
P.S.
I'm not too much of a noob, so I can understand all of this crazy Android lingo; I've rooted/installed custom roms on my fair share of devices. On the other hand, I'm no pro either.
I know that bumping is generally frowned upon, but I'm doing it in hopes that perhaps somebody that could answer my questions just missed my thread.
Again, my apologies.

Same problem
Man I have the exacttt same problem and doubt as you do, specially about the SIM LOCK, I want ICS on my phone too, I have the same model. Have you gotten any answers?
well you can unlock your boot loader and install custom rom and after unlock you will unable to update through seus or pc companion until you relock the bl. i suggest u to use test point in this way you will not lose drm keys. and if there is a problem in network try different baseband.
Before unlocking bootloader you must remove sim-lock. Basically it comes down on buying sim unlock code.

I had no problems flashing ICS via flash tool on my then locked bootloader, sim locked device, so I'm thinking that's not the problem here.
Make sure you have installed the right drivers for your device, that it has usb debugging activated and that it is configured to msc (usb storage) when flashing.
Also, when I unlocked my bootloader via paid method (alejandrissimo) it also eliminated the sim lock  I think it's part of the process. Anyway, maybe you could explain a little further about the error log you get on flash tool.
Don't forget to click thanks if I helped.
Edit: about cwm, of course you can use it on custom roms, some kernel even have that included. . First you install it on your stock ics and then you get to flash other roms.

I have a sim locked phone and the bootloader can't be unlocked because my phone was made in 12w22. No test point and no sony options because the status of the bootloader says Bootloader status: no.
The question is: if i by a sim-unlock code the bootloader status turns to yes?
i really need to unlock bootloader because my battery is causing me nightmares!! thanks for the help. sorry for the bad english(or not) .I'm portuguese
My sim card is not detected even though I flashed back to stock rom. I accidently locked the bootloader in Feralab kernel. Now I am on the stock rom but it keeps saying to restart my phone and place my sim but its already in there... I unlocked it with setool2. Should I try unlocking it with semc tool and relocking it? Using X10a
EDIT: Problem Solved. Flashed back to stock and unlocked it again and it worked.
Bump because I need to fix my phone ASAP so I can use it. BTW I also unlocked with semc and relocked it because it didn't work. Using stock 2.3.3 rooted.
