[Q] Phone not switching on after charge!! - Optimus One, P500, V General

Hi
I just flashed UI-One MIUI 4.0 PORT [BETA 1] by TEAM MAC (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1517939) and the new baseband yesterday night and the phone was working fine. But when i went to sleep the phone had about 25% charge so in the morning it was switched off. Here's what i've done
-I have charged my phone for an hour now via usb/ac adapter and tried removing the battery , sdcard and putting it back in ( some post said to try it) but still the phone doesnt switch on.
- All it shows is the battery indicator when switched off (the really big one being charged) and about 50% is done.
-That screen comes on even if i press and hold power button
-Not able to go into recovery
Anyone any ideas????

well battery drain has been the biggest issue in miui rom as it doesnt get into sleep mode so the soultion just put ur phone in charging for some time on plug socket not via pc .
now use adb to boot into recovery using command or just press the 3 button combo home+vol down+ power and check if it loads into recovery if not than adb is best method to boot into recovery ,

your bootloader is corrupted.. if you can somehow made it to emergyency mode then the situation is undercontrol.. if u can't then take your fone to cc

-Remove your battery for few (about 5) minutes,
-reinsert your battery (ensure the battery has contact with the good pins)
-connect your charger, if your phone comes back to life, then all is well

Swyped from my Galaxy SII
First of all , use a new fully charged battery ( may be a friend's GS2 battery ) and try to boot ur phone up
If it doesnt work then boot into recovery mode try to wipe data and cache or try download mode
If ur phone doesnt boot up neither in download or recovery mode , then u can use a USB JIG , if this fails try to do a Jtag
Provide more info if ur phone lights up and gives u the battery charge animation or not .( it might be ur battery is just bricked )

xperia p no charging lights, no usb detect, does not boot (not even the kernel screen

hello everybody,
i used to be active on the x10 forum.
but recently i switched to xperia P.
i unlocked the bootloader,
used fastboot to flash custom boot.img,
fastbooted custom kernel (FreeXperia),
installed cm10.zip with the CWM included in kernel,
everything works except wifi and bluetooth (which i guess is the rom's fault, so i dont really mind)
and then i installed apps from the cm10 file manager.
it detects my 16gb internal memory.
but my titanium backup and some other apps says it cannot access my internal memory, so it doesnt show any apps. (usb is disconnected)
so i thought mayybe some apps dont have access, so i thought i should mount my internal memory (although it already works for my cm10 file manager).
that was a very stupid decision because i used this code from this website which i got after i googled and used it on my terminal emulator.
guess what happened? my device got stuck/hang/frozen.
then when i pressed the power button, it was totally blank, no response and the screen went off.
i tried force shutdown by pressing and holding the volume-up & power button at the same time for a long time, that didnt work either, it had no effect, there was not even a vibration.
and when i charge it, there is no charging light.
it doesnt boot, it doesnt show me the kernel screen, or the CWM screen.
this is worse than a bootloop.
anyone who has previous experience with this?? or has a suggestion on how to repair?
any advice will be much appreciated :crying:

I think you've posted in the wrong forum - should be in Q/A.
Is your phone able to detect in flash mode? (while it is off, hold DOWN volume key and connect USB - check for LED illuminated)
Is your phone able to detect in fastboot mode? (while it is off, hold UP volume key and connect USB - check for LED illuminated PURPLE)

Hi.
1. Have you tried to charge it through the charger, instead of the usb por of PC?
2. If you tried, did you let it charge for at least 30 minutes? (Sometimes the battery drains so much that the phone needs time even to show it´s charging.)
If the battery charges, you should try flashing a Stock Rom through Flashtools.
If it doesn´t, then I can´t say you should do it but if I were in ur position, I would surely open my phone and try to charge this battery somehow. Google a lot to learn how it works, the wires, what is positive and negative and bla bla bla because your biggest problem NOW is not having power to work with the phone.
Hope you have good luck!
=)
Sorry please post your thread at Q&A

i have reason to believe it maybe related to the battery. maybe the battery is still running. how do i physically shut it down? the holding power button and volkume-up button trick doesnt work.

Use this guide to open the phone up and just disconnect the battery for a few minutes. Then try connecting in either fastboot/flash mode. The phone may need to be repartitioned and reflashed.
Same issue
Hi Davin-J
Did you finally solved this problem? I have the same now. And my battery should be good.
...............................
1/2 day later:
It was the battery. I managed to get it back to life as copper62472 told us. The strange thing was, that the Sony charger didn't charge the phone battery; may be because I bricked the phone before with system/data/cache wiped and formatted. I was not even able to restore it with SUS, because the phone was not detected at the USB.
Then I charged the battery outside the phone with a current limited power supply. After putting the charged battery back into the phone, restoring with SUS worked without a hitch.
Help

I've got something similar to you when messing with my XU.
Almost freaked out 'cos I couldn't use fasboot.
What I do:
Remove the battery, left 'bout 5 min, put it back
Left it on the wall charger for something like 2h
Then, tried to power on. It got stuck on bootloop (bootloader unlocked)
powered off by removing battery, put it back on again
now, with it powered off, prepared my kernel of choice (any with CWM) in fastboot
when asked to plug in the phone, did as usual (vol + and usb)
BAM, the kernel flashed without any issue, was able to recover an old backup and got my phone back.
If, by any chance, you have a phone that you cannot remove battery, try just leaving in the wall charger for a time. pay attention to the led, if it's red, than it's charging (supposed). then try to remove the charger and put it back again, see if anything shows up in the screen.

[Q] GSII won't turn on

Hi. for the longest time i've been running Cyanogen 10.1 on my device. Recently I've updated to 10.2. IN the instructions, it just said flash the new zip and the gapps then reboot. I did just that and my phone initially loaded well. it was able to update and such. However, I noticed that after booting, it would hang at the lockscreen for 2-3 seconds then reboot. To end the loop, i tried pulling out the battery. I then tried turning it on but it would only stop at the sII splash screen. I then pulled out the battery again. When plugged in, it would go to the battery charging screen but would hang after awhile so i pulled the batt once again. Now, even plugged, the battery screen won't load anymore. the screen would just open w/ a battery and hang there, then the screen would close and repeat. I tried entering download mode by the button-combo or the USB jig but still none. can anyone help me?
No download mode = not good. Try searching through king_rat (xda user) posts for his method to jump start into download mode.
You can also try:
1. Pull the battery, leave it out for a minute.
2. Replace the battery, but don't turn it on.
3. Hold the button combo for DL mode.
4. Get a friend to plug in the phone charger.
On a working phone, the above procedure would boot into DL mode.
Sent from a galaxy far, far away
flashing a zip wont make ur phone dead... u should try another battery and make sure the combo u are trying to enter download mode is correct
usb jig i guess doesnt works wid jb or later (due to bootloader updates bt i may b wrong so plz pardon)

SGP621 won't start

Hi,
Im using now AICP for 3-4 days now.
Today my battery decreased very fast and now my tablet is powered off. I can't start my tablet (sgp621) or charge it.
When I put the cable in it, the LED is red.
Im charging it like 6 hours now and I still can't start my tablet.
Fastboot mode also did't work (pressing vol up and put the cable in).
Booting in the recovery also didnt work (pressing start and vol down)
The last thing what I did is use the stadard browser app and turn the energy saving mode on.
I only have one app installed: mx player pro
My bootloader is unlocked, twrp (TWRP_multirom_scorpion_3.1.0.0_3.10_201703.img) is installed.
I had lineage os before but I formatted all partitions except of my sd card .
Is my tablet dead?
I hope someone can help me
My SGP621 recently started acting up. The power button doesn't work, and the up volume is now the power button. I can't even shut it down. If I do, it auto-powers on. I think it's done.
