HELP! reboot loop on my SGP 5.0 Int. - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

I've been modifying framework-res.apk on my SGP, and when rebooting, it started to loop the animation of samsung.
Have been all night rebooting until battery has die, cos didn't be able to power it off.
XD
I want to know if a full unbrick is necessary, or if can be revive by using other method.
If you could post me a little tutorial of unbricking, I'll be grateful.
Pity me, I'm a little noob.
"Version" is YP-G70CW (International / Hardware button)
Lots of thanks.

Did you backup your rom?

Reflash it with Odin, and you needn't wait until its battery go out, just hold power button for more than 10 seconds to shut it down.

Ok.
I've been collecting all info about unbricking SGP 5.0.
I understand all steps but the last.
It says: Finally, reboot your device.
(lol) XD
I don't know how to reboot the SGP, or what combination of physical keys may do that.
Any one can iluminate me, please?
Thank you again.

Hold the power button until it turns off?
This shouldn't be in Development btw..

While on bootloop turn off by holding the power button for 3-5 sec until it shuts off. Then quickly hold again the power+vol up button for 5 sec. This should get you in the recovery. Restore your backup.

[Q] (Q) how to deal with bootloop

Dear friends
I tried to change my icons by replacing the framework.res file which put me in bootloop, I had to remove my battery ( by removing the 10 screws on the back) to power off the device then put it in the fastboot to reflash the rom.
my question is there an easier way to deal with the bootloop without removing the battery?? (I hope so)
I think if you press vol up + power and wait till you have 3 vibrations.

Go to PC companion, update Centre, then fix my phone... Tada, it will restore everything back.

Use flashtool to flash stock firmware, can be found in development box!

CAN ANYONE HELP IN THIS ?
It should work, wait till the phone reboot and when you see sony logo quickly press the keys...
First there is 1 vibration then another 3.

Yea, that should have definitely worked. There are other threads I believe where people had bootloops, and the device has successfully powered down.
I am quoting this directly from dooms "All you need to know thread": http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1526866 (which you probably should have read before doing modifications)
while device is power ON
Volume Up + POWER (for 10 seconds) -> resets the battery, its like removing the battery and putting it back in [device will vibrate once]
Volume Up + POWER (for additional 5 seconds, total 15 seconds) -> will power off hard, device will power down [device will vibrate thrice]

Try to time it when it starts its loop again, I don't see why you should ever have to remove your battery to reset, there hasn't been a problem yet that the key combos haven't solved.

Bootloop Issues
My phone the Sony Xperia Go... Has a boot-loop problem. it starts up and immediately goes into boot loop, (I lost power during the update because of a broken USB cord). I have tried the volume down button while plugging in the phone into the computer and it connects as an unknown device, but drops out too quickly for windows to find a driver for it. I have tried resetting it by holding the up and off buttons once it has been stuck in boot loop for a while but it wont connect to the computer. Any one else had this problem? how did you fix it?

Won't Boot Into Android Recovery........

This may have been said before...but its a lil bit different. I have a new Note i717. Its unlocked...has ICS 4.0.4 on it. Not ROOTED. But..i can't get into even the Android recovery. No matter what i do. I seen another guy mention on here when he holds the crrect buttons down....it just goes buzz....buzz...buzz...forever until i let go...then it would boot up normally.
I put TWRP onto it recently...i put superuser into the internal card...but won't boot into it for nothing. What you guys think?
Edit:Can't Root This Phone For sh**. Dunno Why. My Other Note..I ROOTED In 5 Min. Something Aint Right.
Power off the phone. Then while holding down volume up and volume down press power. The phone will vibrate signalling that it is booting up. Let go of the power button and hold volume up and volume down until the first Samsung screen flashes on and off.

Doesn't Work. Nothing Works. Very Very Weird. I Had My White Note ROOTED Easily. For The Life Of Me...Can't Figure Out How To Get In This Mode. I Flashed The TWRP Recovery. Phone Isn't ROOTED Tho. I've Done All Kinds Of Ways. Nothing Is Working At All. A Factory Reset Wouldn't Help Any Right? Im Not ROOTED Or On A Custom ROM.
Edit: FINALLLLLLLLYYYYYY Got It To Work. The Lil Damn Things. I Guess Its Been awhile Since i Did All This ROOT Stuff. I Was Holding All 3 Down At The Same Time. Suppose To Hold Vol Up/Down.....Then Power...Like U Said Adonisd. Thanks Alot Brotha.
No problem. You are very welcome. Don't forget to add solved to your topic title.

Same issue with i9082 Lineage OS 13.0.
Suddenly the problem arised when I tried to downgrade to CWM 6.0.4.0.

On the Download Mode it shows : Current Status - Custom, System Status - Official.
Can anyone help?

P3100 - no recovery and no odin mode

OK, i feel like a real noob now :crying:
I tried to upgrade my P3100 to Slim-p3100-4.2.2.build.6-OFFICIAL following the tutorial i found.
Result of this is that now tablet is non more able to enter either CWM recovery nor odin download mode and after normal boot i can only see a flashing Slim logo on the right part of the screen.
The best i am able to obtain is a "forced upload by key pressing" screen rebooting with all three buttons pressed.
Odin can see the device but when i try to re-upload cwm is stits in Establishing connection.
All threads i found in this forum were about phones and nothing about tablets. Anyone can give me an hint on next steps i should follow?
Thank you all

A small update:
I also tried to disconnect battery for 4 hours, but still unable to enter in recovery mode.
When you reach the slim logo, keep holding the power key for about 6,7 seconds. You will hear a vibration, leave the power key and immediately press vol up and power key again(do these steps fast after the vibration). When the galaxy tab 2 screen comes leave the power button, keep holding the vol button. Now check whether you can enter recovery now.

So, i tried tens of times, but nothing.....
flashing logo ---> power for several seconds till i head vibration --> as soon as i hear vibration leave power and faster as i can push vol up and power ---> release power as soon as Samsung logo appears ---> some colors on scree and slim logo again.....
Am i missing anything?
attached are photos of logo blinking
Nope. U didn't missed any thing.
U cant enter the recovery mode, must be a problem of recovery, try doing the same with power down, so that you can enter the download mode. Then odin can be used. Hope this works, and your tab becomes alive agan. All the best

[HELP] stock Galaxy S3 Neo (I9301) stuck in a bootloop

Hi there,
a friend of mine gave me her completely original and stock Galaxy S 3 Neo that got stuck in a bootloop while she was using it.
If you power up the phone, it shows the Samsung Galaxy logo, then proceeds to load the animated logo with the music, but as soon as the first second of music is played, the phone bootloops.
If I try to boot in recovery mode (Home+Power+Volume UP), it bootloops.
If I try to enter Odin mode (Home+Power+Volume DOWN), it bootloops.
Could anyone please explain to me the steps I have to do in order to recover this phone? It is absolutely ESSENTIAL not to delete the internal storage data, because she keeps there many photos of his son (with no backup... how clever)...
Thanks a lot!
Do you see the download or recovery screen before it bootloops?

Yes. It reboots after just a few seconds I see recovery or dowload mode, bu it actually loads them before rebooting. The phone is even recognized by Odin just before it reboots.
Are you sure the battery is okay and fully charged? It's possible that the power button is stuck.

I don't know if the battery is ok... I tried to remove the battery plug the phone but it won't start without. I don't have another battery to try...
It may be the power button whereby the button is stuck in the "pressed" position.

The power button clicks ok so it doesn't look like it is stuck... I'll look more into it
Edit: WTF I can access download mode just by pressing Home and Volume down, so it seems the power button IS stuck even if it clicks normally...
Although it clicks, it may be stuck in the pressed position.
If you have a multimeter, you could test the power button contacts.
I found this video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rOCa-hQQ2Ko
Damn, it really was stuck! I hit the side of the phone a bunch of time with a pen and the button got un-stuck! Thanks for the help!

Stuck on Logo? Can't shut off?

Noticed quite a few threads re this, have had the prob myself.
Found a simple fix, while trying different things...
Hold ALL buttons down at once (vol dn + vol up + pwr button). Keep them held down for about a min or two. Phone will respond and you'll be able to shut it off. It takes a while to respond.
Cheers
Thank you!
I've added this to the US998 Pie KDZ thread. That KDZ is very wonky. It's the only Pie people have problems flashing. Probably because LG has not yet released Open Market US998 and the one we are using is technically for U.S. Cellular US998.
I had no trouble flashing it myself -- on my backup V30+(former LS998) going straight from Nougat (never updated, it was my backup phone) to Pie through Dev Patched LGUP Refurbish mode. But lots of other people seem to have problems.
On my daily phone, I'm still on rooted stock Oreo with Magisk and Xposed mods.

I think it's pretty clear, what I did and it worked in my situation(s):
There are 3 buttons right? Vol up, Vol dwn, and pwr.
Press all 3, at the same time, keep them pressed until the phone responds. It can take quite a while.
The last time I used this was after flashing LOS17, but then flashed a 19.x version of Magisk... (that's the wrong version of Magisk for Q Roms btw), resulting in phone stuck on boot logo, wouldn't budge.
I honestly have never tested exactly 'how long' it takes to respond, just that it does eventually respond and are then able to get to recovery etc. I can say time wise, if you hold them down and no response after a few minutes, then it's probably not going to work in your situation.
good luck

Oh, I'm just a little confused if you are talking about powering off/shutting down the phone entirely or instead changing the status of logo sticking and then shutting off with extra operation. My phone was suffering automatic reboot per 5 second, so I cannot recognize any other response than that. Thanks for your patience, but I just want to know something more to see if this method works when the phone is almost bricked. It seems you could enter rec or at least download mode, so maybe you had performed force reboot.
Hope further confirmation.

Hmmm I think you may be over thinking this a bit. All that happens (for me) is the phone responds (it gets out of the loop). Then, do whatever you want (shut down, recovery, etc etc).
I wouldn't suggest trying to reboot system again, as you already know that won't work...
All I can say is, if you tried the above and held the buttons, and nothing happened, then I don't know what else you can do. Sorry. Hopefully you can find a way.
Just in case someone is having problems entering download mode while in this bootloop, I'll explain how I applied AsltLies method:
First I held all buttons at the same time, no matter how many times the phone restarted, I still held them
After a while, a white screen with the MEID or IMEI info showed up, this is when the phone stopped bootlooping and I released the buttons.
Then, I CONNECTED the phone to the pc, after that I held VOL UP+POWER BUTTON, this would make the screen go black eventually, and when that happened, I inmediately released the power button but not the VOL UP button, and the phone entered into fully working download mode.
I hope this helps someone.
