When I unplug from the charger I get a notification saying "to save energy also unplug the charger' or something. Apart from being wrong, it's really annoying.
Anyone know if you can disable it? I can't find a way

It can be because I've done it, but can't remember how. I think I turned the charger off in liveware manager

I already have it disabled but it still happens.
EDIT: I just tried freezing LiveWare Manager with Titanium and it still came up! Seems to be something else entirely that is doing it.
EDIT2: Found it. There is an app called com.sonyericsson.unplugchargerreminder 6.0.A.8 (12582920) which I just froze with Titanium and that got rid of it. I'll make sure it doesn't break anything else then uninstall it.

Yes I do, go into the 'settings' menu, then into the 'apps', inside the apps scroll sideways to 'all apps' then scroll down to 'com.sonyerricsson.unplugcharger' then uncheck the 'show notifications' box on the xperia Z but on the Xperia S use the 'disable' option as there isn't a 'notification' box. ALL DONE!
NOTE: the handset does NOT have to be rooted to be able to do this. x
I too got cheesed off with this notification on my xperia S and xperia Z. HAVE A NICE DAY !

I got my first Android phone on a Friday. Having a blast with it. But, I've been trying to find out what this is. Can't figure it out. Tried searching for it but can't find it.
It showed up on Saturday and never goes away.

I was thinking Settings too. But why is the icon on the left side, all the time. And how do I remove it?
any chance its a blue half circle? if so its the multiwondow app selector, just hold the back button to make it go away

I've personally never seen it. I also don't have Facebook installed. I would do the suggestion above, or try touching it and see what happens. You may just need to confirm something.
It doesn't go away even after pressing clear notification. I've tried pressing it. Nothing.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
Ive got a cheap Android phone laying around and figured Id make use of it somehow.
Is there an app out there that will leave the screen on while plugged in that displays the time and weather and maybe other things?
I dunno if there is something like that, but you can do this:
Go to Settings -> Applications -> Development, and check "Stay Awake".
Then, install some widget (or various) that display the info you need :highfive:

I tried putting an action in SmartConnect, which runs, but the popup STILL appears! :crying:

Already off.
It is the "Smart Connect" application that launches an application called "view".
SC can trigger different events when the phone is placed in the magnetic dock. The default one being to start a slide-show of your stored photos.
With the phone in the dock you can slide from the top, select the view app (looks like a blue wavy thing) and hold down the slide-show and remove it.
Or launch SC and just turn off View completely with the blue switch at the top.

No, it's not. View is disabled in Smart Connect, so there is no Notification. As I said in the OP, even if I put an action in SmartConnect, this popup appears in addition...
Turning the view thing off completely using the switch at the top as described above worked for me.

Not for me, because as I said it's not SmartConnect doing it. View is already disabled.
Could you please try posting Screenshots for further assistance?

Where did the buttons go ? I put an App to hibernate and reset my phone. Now those 3 buttons are gone!

are you sure Greenify is the culprit? Check out your Gravity Box settings once more ... There's an option call Enable Navigation Bar...

I programmed an NFC sticker in a generic universal phone car dock to start CarHome Ultra when I snap it into the dock. After a few seconds, a warning comes up that says something like "Repeatedly reading NFC tags can cause a drain on the battery" or something, and there's an OK button. It pops up every time and I'd like to disable it. I use G3 TweaksBox to disable most other notifications, but this one isn't listed as an option.
Help? I'll try to get a screenshot as soon as I can.
Thanks!

If you dont want to ever see it again, try notifyclean. Its in xposed repo. Install, activate and reboot, once loaded for a min or two, open up notifyclean, exit out of it, then get the notification to popup again and go back into notifyclean. From there you can see all the notifications that have popped up since launch and you can stop it from there. Its pretty straight fwd

That is excellent advise. Thank you very much.
Edit: After reading the description of NotifyClean in the Modules repo, it says it will stop notifications that appear in the tray, but it doesn't say it stops ones that pop up in the middle of the screen that you have to press OK to clear. Do you know if it works with those kinds of popups?
Thank you.

Oh man, finally someone raising this issue. Did you ever find a decent workaround? This pop up is killing me.
Cheers!
