Hey all,
I've tried mutiple and tested with multiple MHL adapters and none of them seem to let me get my View screen to output to my TV. I've hooked the adapter up to a power source and tested multiple TVs/HDMI cables still no dice. Is there an obvious setting or something else that I'm missing?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Hi,
i had same isue. What i did was... once everything conected - power off and power on. Worked after that.

I hope someone with more knowledge on this setup can help me out. I would ask in the JellyBam thread but I don't have enough street cred yet.
I purchased a PS3 controller and the GameKlip with the male-to-male USB adapter. I have been able to successfully pair the controller over Bluetooth with the Sixaxis app from the Play store. I would also like to use the USB cable because when paired with the app, you can't pair any other device, like my Bluetooth headset. I would also assume the USB would conserve battery on both devices.
The USB connection works randomly... so i know it's not a complete waste of time trying to get it to work.
The issue to fix is why the connection is random. My thoughts are maybe something with the Kernel that comes with JellyBam, I could try a different one, or an app that will configure the USB state to more reliably keep the controller connected.
When the controller does work it is after a random number of times connecting and disconnecting the USB cable and pressing the "P" power button on the PS3 controller. When it does connect it will highlight an icon on my home screen and I can move the selection around with the joystick. It seems to disconnect as soon as I touch the screen or enter anther app. I have to go though the process of plugging and unplugging again to get it to work after the disconnect.
Another note, this same setup seems to work on my wifes i777 with an older (ICS) AOKP build. I have seen in some of my searching that JB doesn't have the same support for USB configurations as ICS. I would hate to go back to ICS just to get this working... but that may be my only option.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and please share any information you have!
I have problem with MHL HDMI. When i connect it right, it shows no signal on tv, but on tablet it shows information about MHL, but it resets like someone keep connect and disconnect it. It may be wrong cable problem or settings or maybe root issue?
So, today I bought a Chromecast (2. Gen). At home, I connected it to my TV (Sony Bravia KDL 40EX727) and tried to set up - but without success. All I got was a black screen (nothing appeared at all). At the Chromecast itself, directly after plugging ac power, the status led turns constant organge for about 0.5 sec and then switches to constant white. And that's it.
I started to research and found some points I struggle about:
- Some users reported unresolved issues with Sony TVs. Can I find a list of supported devices somewhere?
- I tried to reset my Chromecast. I followed the instructions (push the reset button while HDMI is plugged in the TV). Actually, nothing happened. The LED keeps on illuminating constantly white (still not blinking). Google's instructions tell me, that it should turn orange (blinking) and after the successfull reset it should return to a white color. So as you see, nothing at all happens.
- I tried all HDMI ports - no difference
- I tried different USB cables and powering it from USB and from AC - no difference
- I tried turning it on without beeing connected and with beeing connected - no difference.
What else to do?
- tomorrow, I will take it to work and connect it the HDMI port and my computers display (unfortunately, I have no second screen with HDMI at home, neither an adapter from DVI to HDMI or something similar..)
Do you have any hints for? Or is my device just broken?
Thanks in advance!
Problem solved: Device was defective. I exchanged it in the store where I bought it for a different one: works like a charm.
Okay, basically ive posted on reddit and been advised to come here. Ive tried multible things such as different cables, different usb settings, downloading apps and so far nothing has worked. I like listening to my spotify from my phone through my car (it works with i-phone 6). When connecting it says 'reading' for ages and eventually just says 'Device NA'. Has anyone had this problem an has anyone found a solution?

Try mtp or media sharing options, or just get a cheap bluetooth to 3.5mm jack dongle and connect your phone to it. Works everytime
Well, I was trying to use OTG on this tablet, keyboard and mouse works great connecting via USB with a Type-C adapter.
But when connecting a Logitech controller it receives power (I can turn mode on/off and the light goes on/off) but the tablet doesn't recognize, for example when I go to the Stadia app nothing appears as connected, but on my OnePlus phones works fine.
I was searching and it may be a problems with permissions, is a root really necessary and is it even worth it? What do you think?
Hi Jota, did you ever figure out the Logitech and also does this model have otg video out to HDMI cable? Trying to confirm that feature before I buy it. many thanks!
