White back cover plate needed! Please help. - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Where can I find a battery cover plate for the white galaxy note? Not a case just the plate that covers the battery.
Sent from the TermiNOTEr! ;-)

I'm using the elago cover from Amazon...$10 but it doesn't offer much protection besides keeping crud off of the 8MP camera on the back. The white one is a little slippery since it's not coated, just FYI. Hasn't caused a drop yet though.

Are you looking for an OEM cover to replace a white cover you had ?

Yes looking for either. Hopefully one with NFC if not can you provide links to the ones you know about. That would be great. Yes looking to replace my white one.

Can't post a link because of the new member rule...but just search 'elago G4 slim fit case for galaxy note' and you should be able to find it.

Also, the OE flip cover with the flap is a much better rear cover due to its thickness, texture and logo layout. What I did was just ter off the "leather" flip portion and am using just the battery cover.

Yes tried that would love to find a back cover like that without the leather. I cut it out too but back cover is to thick and doesn't work well with tpu cases. Love the look and texture of the flip cover case. Would be nice if they made Battery cover exactly like that.

I hear the carbon blue battery cover is textured but not thicker. You'd need to air brush it white however.

Does the N7000 back cover fit on the i717 back??? The cutouts look the same...but whether or not it will fit (don't have my Note yet).

No it will not.

I haven't noticed any difference in signal loss.

I have the same case but in silver. I did notice my GPS position was off with the case on.
I have this case in gray. After one drop and general wear and tear it started to crack. Plus the brushed aluminum back began to peel off. If you're going for looks though it's a great case.

I like the styling of the case more than the "envelope" design on the back of the Otterbox cases. But I don't like the fact that these are only renders of the cases. Show us some actual pictures.
I just got the case, and I actually like it, I normally don't like cases but it seems to feel good on the phone. I posted a few pics of it. The one downfall is that it covers the back notification LED.

the side rubber indents make it grip when holding it, also the middle is recessed but it helps with gripping it, I tend to drop my phone often but havent yet with this one. (had it since day one 11/21) it feels really good, very solid.

I agree... it's really crummy plastic. But my wife's note 2 camera lens is in much better shape than this after several months

I'm confused, do you not still have the piece of plastic on the lens from factory? That covers the entire thing to the shiny plastic ring.
You have factory plastic on still. That will scratch very easily. Remove it.

Looks like the plastic was still on! Hahaha.
Thanks for the heads up dude.
Just peeled it off and the lens looks brand new (because it is).
Now hopefully the plastic screen won't do the same thing to the actual lens.
Can anyone else comment on whether their S-View case is causing damage after the plastic has been removed?

The plastic doesn't cover where the lens is actually used for pictures, just the glass around it. I don't think it would make a difference.

Good question.
I honestly can't tell if this camera reacts differently to light than my s3. I feel like the s3 allowed more light in and took “brighter photos" at Lower res.
I'm going to need to mess around with this more to figure out the camera.

Genuine leather battery cover?

Has anybody here found a real genuine leather battery cover to replace the fake one on the Note 3?
So far the only real leather I have found is on the flip cases.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using Tapatalk 4
Not that I have seen, it may be a tough one to make unless someone covers an existing battery door with leather itself.
I think a real leather battery cover would be awesome.
A nice tan or beige color would go great with white or black note. Kind of like the interior tan leather color with a white car
Sent from my C6602
IF such a thing does get made, I'd be on it
My only concern is how it will not dissipate heat well at all. Unless they make it from extremely thin leather and stretch it over the OEM battery door....

I wonder if zagg will come out with a leather skin for it. That might work. I have one on my ipad and it's really nice.
I bought the white note 3 in hopes that I might be able to possibly die the white pleather tan or brown. Any thoughts on this?
I'm not sure what material I could use that wouldn't come off on my hands.

It's not pleather, it's textured hard plastic. I'd bet you could spray paint it pretty easily.

A bumper is probably the only case that will work with it if its thicker than the stock cover. In another thread someone said they use the poetic borderline bumper(or maybe it was the bear motion bumper) with the Samsung wireless charging cover.
