I'M COMBINING FORCES WITH TRAVP FROM BLACKICE ROM.. LOL.. WE'VE BEEN HELPING EACH OTHER ON BLACKED OUT APPS FOR A WHILE NOW AND JUST DECIDED THAT WE SHOULD COMBINE OUR WORK AND TEAM UP!.. THIS IS ABOUT ALL THE INFO YA GET FOR NOW. NO NAME YET AND NO ETA ON OUR FIRST JB ROM BUT OUR PLAN IS AOSP SOURCE WITH SOME BUTTERY KANGS... First and foremost I give all the credit for this ROM to roman. I also give credit to JT, Sbrissen, Stevespears and anyone else involved in getting ICS working on the Fascinate. I built this from AOKP source in order to invert some of the system apps that force close if themed with apktool and I ended up having a pretty full inverted apks list so I decided to release this as a ROM instead of a theme. My plan is to learn more coding and add new features even though Roman did an amazing job on AOKP so there's not much room for improvement. I'm not a tech whiz so this has been an adventure getting it all set up so bear with me on updates as I learn more about dev'ing.. Thanks.

* FOLLOW THESE STEPS
It's not difficult but it's a 3 step install. This is because of Talk and Vending not wanting to play nice once themed.
Make sure you're on CWM fixed for CM7
* Download all 3 zips from above.
* Boot into recovery
* MAKE A NANDROID
* Wipe data/factory reset in recovery
* Flash ROM if already on ICS (if not flash Team Hacksung's build 2 first)
* Flash Blacked Out Gapps
* REBOOT
* Boot into recovery again
* Flash the 3rd zip with Vending, Talk, and some data/apps
* Reboot Again
* Enjoy!..

I'll have to check it out. After it built in Linux I had to add some stuff to the zip so I dunno if that would afffect the md5 ... otherwise I'll try building it again ans testing that theory....

aright cool... sorry about that.
As of now everything seems to be working perfect... the only thing I had was Gmail fc'd when I first opened it.. just clear cache in Gmail and its all good... I have it installing to data instead of system and even tho I've never had an issue before with Gmail, it was an easy fix.... let me know if ya find anything tho...

Building 4.0.4 now... it'll be more blackes out, also... after this release I'm going to be learning more stuff so I can exit the THRom aspect and have it be my own...

awesome rom, love it. I am using this rom. but i have no option to go back to stock. As i found on all ICS latest build my 3g data not working, dont know why.
I am using fascinate on non verizion number and also not in US.

Not sure why ya don't have 3g unless you aren't on Fascinate but rather a mesmerize .. this is a rom so you would have to restore a backup or flash a stock rom...

Took the plunge and flashed this...great work!
I can't get wallpapers from Gallery to work (or QuickPic...which is what I usually use). The only wallpapers I can get to work for some reason are Live Wallpapers, all else come up as black for me.
BTW...I especially like the versions of Facebook/Twitter/Google Voice! Nice work on this!!!

I just swirched wallpapers from gallery 5 times so I'm not sure what the issue is... maybe see if you can clear cache in all the wallpaper apps and gallery. Glad everything else is working good for ya tho...

Flashed two days ago. I was intrigued by the blacked out theme. So far I'm loving it. I really have no complaints. As far as wallpapers go @errolroach, mine work just fine. Only problem I've had is every time I reboot, regardless of which option I choose, it goes to recovery. Not a huge problem to me, just letting you know BBoy.
I'll update if I find any other problems but it seems relatively flawless so far.
Have two questions. If I wanted to go with a glitched kernel would I go for ICY GLITCH 14? (any other suggestions). Do you use a glitched kernel bboy? And also, in the messaging app, which looks awesome in black btw, how do I get a photo for myself to show up as I reply to people? It's pretty trivial but as a cosmetic thing it would look nice. I tried making myself a contact and that didn't do anything. Any suggestions? Thanks so much, I'm really enjoying it!
