Cn zte v9c be upgraded from android 2.3.4 to any other higher versions. If yes, plz tell me how.
ZTE v9 is supported by Cyanogenmod, not sure if its any different from the ZTE V9c. There are CM9/ICS ROMs there for it. Check Rootzwiki or the Cyanogenmod website for more info.

Hello, I have a S1 with ICS 4.0.3 Official firmware, I want to root it but after searching in the threads I couldn't find any solution, it seems like there is not root available for official ICS D:, So I decided to use a custom pre rooted ROM, but I can't downgrade it, so I was wondering if there is any available Pre rooted ICS ROM with the 4.0.4 version, so I wouldn't need to Downgrade it. Please if you can provide me the tools, the ROMs or anything you can helpe with The Sony S1 is from Mexico, just in case
There are no news from Sony about ICS 4.0.4 for Tablets S or P
+ the device is locked, you can't downgrade or even install ROMs other than official, u got to wait for devs

CyanogenMod 11 ROM working on S5839i?
Hi!
I'm a bit unexperienced, and not sure about the differences among the S583xx models.
I have a S5839i which is still running Android Gingerbread 2.3, however quite badly (e.g. some calls do not show up).
So I'd like to update it to Android Kitkat 4.4.
For the S5380 I found the following manual:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/update-gala...nstall-1430916
However, I am not sure if the CyanogenMod 11 is compatible with my model.
On the release note http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2587481 , it is stated:
So no idea, if this includes my model (is the S5839I as sub-model of S5830I?)
If so, is there any other way to update my phone to Android Kitkat 4.4? If not, is an update to Android 4.3, Jelly Bean possible?
Thx a lot!

Hi, I'm back here after a number of years with my Xperia Play, I need some help flashing/rooting/modifying my Xperia Mini Pro to the latest version of Android.
I have many questions, the main reason I want to upgrade is to get the latest apps only available with newer versions of Android such as Vine.
Are there any stable ROMs that anyone could recommend specifically for the Xperia Mini Pro? As far as I know the version of android I'm running (2.3.4, kernel v 2.6.32.9-perf, 4.0.2.A.0.62 build) has not been touched, do I begin with rooting before flashing? Also, how do I go about backing up my data?
First of all, there's no best rom like stated here
If you want official ics, flash the stock ics rom and root it using this tool

I have a huawei vitria Y 310A2.
Can we build kitkat 4.4 ROM FOR THIS DEVICE?
i wanna ask, i'm new to android programming, what kinda tools i need to prepare?
hello?
I don't see why you can't port kk to your devices. If you want kk or any other android version check out xda-university it will guide u in the right direction.
If you believe you will succeed.
Example.. my tablet that was built in 2006 with only 309mb ran was able to external multibootloader from sdcard jb4.1, ubuntu, and debian.
All you answers can be found in the little search box at the top of the page.

you cant ther is not offical firmware >4.2
but try the ROMs that I developed: http://supranet.org
But i see rom and he have android 4.3 or 4.2.2. How he author install this android?
Android is not a simple file.
Unless the LG update, which she will never do, it is necessary to make the port of a ROM Project (eg CyanogenMod) from scratch to make the device support Android more updated.
Ok thanks
