CM isn't supporting the msm8660 for cm7 that's why it took me so long to get it running and my cm9 will be merged once GSM is fixed

[Q] Can I run the AOSP rom in XS ?

(Sorry, i'am bad in english)
Hello,
I download the rom AOSP (android-4.0.4_r2.1),
I followed this tutorial : http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html
Can I run this rom in my Xperia S because this rom is not the stock rom ?
Thanks
Refer to http://source.android.com/source/building-devices.html
The supported devices with the current release are the Galaxy Nexus, Motorola Xoom, Nexus S and Nexus S 4G.

Therefore, the answer is "no" except you are able to modify code to make it compatible with XS.
Ok thanks,
but where is the xperia s ics source code ?
I find the kernel code but i want the rom source code.
thanks again
This is very urgent please, where I can found the ICS xperia S sources ?
I don't think that Sony also releases their ICS firmware source code. AOSP source which is possible for XS is from FreeXperia team but they haven't public it yet until it is stable.
In addition, I don't know when they will release their source and please don't ask them because of the ETA rule.
PS. Anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

He's talking about the device tree and not only the kernel.
@OP: wait until team FXP release the sources, then someone will make an AOSP ROM for the S.
Thank you
So, I wait the FXP release

[Q] CM version of Hellybean 02-26 build?

Hi
I wanted to use siyah on the new Hellybean 4.2.2 02-26 nightly build. But I was not sure if this had the new (post 2-21) CM 10 with the new Mali drivers. Does anyone know? How can I tell the version of CM this rom is using?
Thanks!

Thanks! Very helpful!
The build number is "cm_i777-userdebug 4.2.2 JDQ39 eng.derteufel1980.20130226.221711 test-keys".
The CynaogenMod version is "Hellybean-20130225-i777"
I wasnt sure if the dates in these referred to the Hellybean dev's own build or the CM version it was derived from.
Appreciate any education here.

The source hasn't been released yet and I doubt it will be released until the full version is released which is supposed to come out on fall. I won't advance myself but maybe it could be possible that some ports could appear in the coming days/weeks/months.
