First get a different launcher for themes
Then get rom toolbox better if you get the pro version
Then open the rom toolbox and go to interface and there you change a lot of icons like the battery or wifi GPS Bluetooth things like that and change the fonts and lots of other stuff I think this is a lot easier than UOT kitchen but the kitchen has more stuff and you can choose from a lot of different boot animations also in rom toolbox
good find! I'm loving rom toolbox... in combination with go launcher its marvelous

Yes this is a good app indeed. Replaces like 4 paid apps that I use from the market for rooted phones. Lots of fonts to choose from is what i like too.
I think you need a deodexed rom when you want to theme icons. I tried using it on the stock 2.3.6 international and it bootlooped. Nevertheless, Rom Toolbox is a very handy app. The free version even comes with a startup manager. It effective block apps from running on startup!

Hi All,
Since most of us have been moving to US Tmob and GB froyo, the blur launcher has been tweeked and made to work like a gem. It is really smooth and I do not find necessity to go to Launcher Pro.
Walter had previously put out a themed blur launcher like this one for his MS2 ROM. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=743372
Unfortunately it cannot be used on these froyo builds. Can anyone please theme the stock launcher please?.
I tried many times on all froyo builds to make the themed launcher work but could not do so. Walter had given a zip file to install it from CWM but that kept bricking the phone and I had to use alternate launcher to keep the phone running and flash an sbf.
Can anyone do that pleaaase ?
Im with you on this one too. I actually like the original blur launcher but it would be nice if you could actually change the assignment of the right hand button to go to text messaging or setttings etc..
Wondering where walter is these days. He can help if he sees this.

I don't see why not... If you're just wanting the look I know Go Launcher Ex from the market has a touchwiz theme that looks pretty accurate and neat.

Well I remember in the thread the said flashing it left some issues im using ef for now though comm rom and ota did this funky thing with my cantact pics where they flashed and went crazy

hmm well a reflash and/or data wipe seems to fix a lot of bugs like that that I have with any rom im using... however I think one of the main reasons custom roms are made is to get rid of or modify stock touchwiz and the launcher. It might take a little extra work to get a touchwiz launcher to work with E.F. or ComRom, which I unfortunately can't help with. A theme seems like a suitable substitute that won't cause as many problems, so that's my recommendation

Supposedly FunkBot's TW 4.0 launcher has been updated to work with Comm Rom 2.0 (check his thread in Themes & Apps), but I've been having lots of crashes with it, particularly when trying to use my docks. If anyone has a link to a TW 3.0 launcher that works with Comm Rom, I'd love to hear about it; I like the debloat in Comm Rom, but the TouchWiz launcher design has grown on me quite a bit relative to the alternatives.

I have 3 solutions:
You can try a custom launcher GO Launcher Ex is one of the best out there. Not only does it give you custom themes but also additional effects for desktop and app drawers believe me i've been using it for like 3 months and still find amazing things i can do with it
If you are rooted you can create your own MOD for changing icons and stuff by using UOT kitchen (Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen)
Else you can go to mods and themes section people have all sorts of MODs there for applyin. But for this you need to be rooted again.
Hope it helped

I just use wanam and xposed module...With wanam you can build practically any theme you want and is extremely easy to use. I always include it in my rom builds...I have one out for the i9205 and a v2 posting tomorrow in the dev forum for the mega. or just download xposed module from xda and wanam from the play store. Has tons of features with themes just being one of the many. As a dev wanam has been by far the easiest solution as it allows the user to make their own theme vs settling for whatever the rom creator wanted. so between wanam exposed and the already mentioned nova or apex launchers there is a nearly unlimited amount of mods to create any theme you want. below is a pic of a theme I built literally in 5 mins on a test build of my upcoming rom update...5 mins and 2 soft reboots...

if your'e not planning on rooting and installing custom roms, then you can use a third party launcher from the play store. and you can download icon packs and themes for the launcher. But if you are rooted and not planning about custom roms, you can install xposed framework.what it does is change some stuff for you..the best module for stock sammy roms is wanam xposed bacause you can able to change the battery icons and notification background etc.
I have a phone running stock android 4.1.1 and I want it to look like any other (xperia, touchwiz, sense etc.) but I can't find what's needed I really want the status bar to look the same aswell as the launcher and stock apps, I can't use a rom.

Your best bet would be rooting, using the Xposed Framework and something like the HK Theme Manager or Xtheme Engine to make significant changes to the look of the system. These tools work well on most devices, but it can be hard to theme stock HTC roms as they have a very different theming structure vs most devices and generic theming tools can only go so far. Other than that, best you could do without a rom (or root) would be a different launcher that either hides the status bar or comes with it's own (have only seen an iPhone looking launcher with that function) or hide the status bar and figure out how to make something like Zooper Widget to help create your own little section at the top for the clock and battery status - though this stuff would only work on the home screen.
If you REALLY want to change stuff, the best option is a rom and there's really not much getting around it without compromises.
