I rooted my Sony Tablet S yesterday, and today, when i connected the tablet to the PC, when i opened the "Sony Tablet S" at "My Computer" it was empty there was no folders...
Can someone help me with this?

Uncheck the debug mode from settings - applications - development

I just flashed the ICS tft (this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1838457 )
Everything worked like a charm (I relocked the boatloader first). One problem: the gallery is gone (I didn't swipe user data, so all my music and pictures are still there) When you tap the media icon on the home page it just shows 'walkman' 'FM radio' and 'Camera'. There is still room for the fourth icon but it doesn't show. Anyone else having this problem? (btw. I can still acces the pictures through the camera app, but this is not ideal)
Tried:
-restart
-hard reset
-searching for various changes in the settings menu
I googled and also searched xda, but haven't found anyone with the same problem. Is there anyone who knows what might have gone wrong?
Note: since my laptop runs on windows 7, I have problems with the mtp device (like many others out there) and can only acces my phone through flashtool. I would try and flash it again with the 'swipe data' checked, to see if that makes a difference, but then I will loose my pictures (since I cannot normally connect to pc companion or my laptop, I haven't been able to make a back up yet.....)

Did u flash stock ics via flashtool ?
If so did u install the xperia S drivers ?
Are u sure u dont have the album app?
no, the problem is that the album app isn't visible on the homescreen when you press the media icon (along with the other three; walkman, radio and camera). It is still visible in the main applications menu.

Hi
I'm running 4.1.2 and have Chrome installed.
When I open chrome it always starts up on Mobile Bookmarks / Samsung Mobile
How do I delete the Samsung Mobile Bookmarks Folder ?
I've tried clicking and holding but this doesn't offer the delete option other folders have.
anyone any ideas ?

Sorry to bring this up, but I confirm this solution is working for Sony Xperia V LT25i too.
There is an annoying Sony Bookmark.
Works for xperia SP
Works on Sony XPERIA SP also to remove the Sony Bookmark Folder from the Favourites in Chrome, very annoying as it was also the default boookmark folder with some useless bookmarks you could not delete. My phone is not even rooted.

Clicked on the "WHAT'S NEW" tab and the only thing said is "Bug fixed." However, after performing a few tests, I believe it is a fix for the "disappearing icons" problem related to user apps that are moved to sdcard memory (i.e., Move to USB storage).
I think that this also solve the automatically touch at the screen

Yeap, nothing on the xperia tablet.
Yay, Sony finally does something for the Sony Tablet S.
From the looks of it, everyone got this from the same day when I checked the comments once I got the update notification.
Problem though, the update takes up a little space from the storage, it would be fun and storage friendly if it was via OTA Update.

i noticed that my tablet seems to freeze more lately after updating my sony home though problems such as the random touching of the lower button seems to disappears after updating

Mine still have. Did you do anything after updating the home launcher? Factory reset or anything?
My tablet seems smoother, almost lag free.

Sony's other system apps (Walkman, Album, etc.) are updated via Google's Play Store, so there is nothing wrong with Sony updating the Home app via Google's Play Store too; the Home app is just another system app. Saying Sony should have updated the Home app via an OTA update instead of Google's Play Store is a ridiculous statement and ridiculous thinking.

new launcher
Before update, when you power off or your battery finish, my icons are gone on desktop. now they fix it.
and very smooth before than. my tablet latest firmware and no root.
Confirmed that this update fixes dissapearing icons from homescreen of programs moved to usb storage. After turning off and on tablet icons stays.Posted in my language sony community.

This may seem like a silly question but I cannot find any information here, is there a companion app that actually works properly?
I received my truemate before xmas but have never used it because the comapnion app never worked, now my 1/8Gb version has arrived I thought I would try again but the osmart app no longer seems to be available (even though I never got it to work anyway) so is there a way to actually us the Truesmart as a companion and read messages and make calls from it?

Thanks, I've downloaded the app and although my truesmart was already connected to my phone via bluetooth the app says no active connection and it says 'connecting' in the top left hand of the screen? what am I doing wrong?
Hello folks! I'm trying to log in with my SEN account to the keyboard under it's options and I always get a sync error, I had the same problem last year with my Z but one day I logged in succesfully and my synced words came back.
Can somebody try to turn sync off and on again and see what happens? I bet that nobody's sync is working and you will get the same error when trying to log in again

Same problem here: I used to have a Z3 Compact, a Z Ultra, a Z2 Tablet and a Z3 Tablet Compact all of them with keyboard on cloud sync working...
Yesterday I logged out the keyoboard of the Z3 Compact and since then no way to log in again...
So (stupid) I logged out all other devices and now I can't manage to login none of them anymore
