You don't need gingerbreak in order to have rooted Gingerbread. You have to SBF to Froyo and use p3droid's prerooted update. After that, you'll have rooted gingerbread.

If rooted you could alwzys delete logwrapper abd than rename logwrapper.bin to just logwrapper. If google how to remove bootstrap thats what comes up, but also ive seen alot of people say it threw em in bootloops. Id probably have matts utility on a comp before i tried, idk, or you could wait a few days for official ota, can you boot ti gb?
Problem.. Got it to work then status error 0 now my phone won't work... Well it does but it won't install... Or fully boot... Waht do I do im on a Mac n its different from pc... Lol

Sure - I uninstalled the app and replaced the logwrapper from the backed logwrapper.bin... But I want to make sure that the bootstrap is completely gone and nothing is screwed...
I installed OTA rootkeeper before the ICS update, now I cannot use it to regain root.
Titanium backup says I have root, but other apps do not agree.
I appreciate any guidance, thanks!

Nobody's around anymore, so this will be the Blind Leading The Blind.
I think you can go back into safestrap and restore using the same method you backed up the original system with. It's supposed to work well.

You would need the Fastboot files if you are planning to flash your phone through RSD Lite. You'll need the Fastboot files that are compatible with your RAZR version (i.e. region, GSM/CDMA).
Were can I find these files

My question is simple do we have any method to root jellybean on razr ( the ota updated ) other than going back to ics and then using root keeper. If its please point me out in the right direction.
No there is no way to root the jellybean ota and there is no possible way to go back to ICS.
Those that have lost root have no choice but to wait until a root exploit is found.
