[Q] jellybean root ????????? - Motorola Droid RAZR

My question is simple do we have any method to root jellybean on razr ( the ota updated ) other than going back to ics and then using root keeper. If its please point me out in the right direction.

No there is no way to root the jellybean ota and there is no possible way to go back to ICS.
Those that have lost root have no choice but to wait until a root exploit is found.

Root keeper just preserves the root, it doesn't root the phone.
Try using motofail.. It works on my 2.3.6 xt910

Root after OTA

I installed OTA rootkeeper before the ICS update, now I cannot use it to regain root.
Titanium backup says I have root, but other apps do not agree.
I appreciate any guidance, thanks!

Nobody's around anymore, so this will be the Blind Leading The Blind.
I think you can go back into safestrap and restore using the same method you backed up the original system with. It's supposed to work well.

You would need the Fastboot files if you are planning to flash your phone through RSD Lite. You'll need the Fastboot files that are compatible with your RAZR version (i.e. region, GSM/CDMA).
Were can I find these files

Jelly Bean Back to ICS

If i update to JellyBean, am I able to go back down to ICS. I thought i read somewhere that you couldn't after updating.
You read correctly.

The JB ROM allows you to go back if the rom is packaged as zip package valid for BMM flashing. If it's an official sbf file you can't because of cdt update.

[Q] Rooted RAZR XT912 via RAZR Blade

I used RAZR blade method to root my RAZR XT912. I never installed any custom recovery, custom ROM or any custom kernels to it.
Will a factory reset get rid of the root?
Gotta turn it back in to VZW for insurance purposes.

Update:
Did a factory reset. SuperSU was still installed. Opened the SuperSU app and did permanent unroot through the app.
This seems to have unrooted it successfully.
