titanium backup is a whole different thing than rom manager.
its perfectly safe, i've been using it for as long as i can remember.
Titanium backup is 100% safe. I've been using it since I rooted my Ace. ROM Manager is a whole lot more different story
thank you for interest
Titanium backup is the greatest app ever, go ahead and install there's no reason to be concerned about

First of all, Titanium Backup is amazing, and secondly, ROM manager does work if you know what your doing.

2days before I installed official cm 7.2 then I saw rom manager :what:.
I played with it and its working.
I did reboot into recovery, also I flashed rom without any problem.

If you're into 2.2 try AtiFroyo. It's pretty decent but there's plenty of GB roms that are pretty much flawless.

Weird.
It could be that you have a corrupted file(s). Have you tried downloading the files again?
Also, from where are you downloading the files? If you're downloading using your phone, you might want to try downloading using a PC.
As you might have noticed, this thread had 7 posts only in over a year.. That alone should let you know the quality of the rom.
Try FroyoPro. It's bug-free.

Titanium backup (Pro) can do it.

It's not for backups. It's for extracting specific apps or data from nandroid backups. Useful when you need something from your backup so you don't have to restore that to get it and then have to flash back your other rom.

Did not know that, and haven't seen either. o-o
back up woth astro
You can back up your apks with astro file manager (free)
Its one of the best(personally my favourite) file manager on the play store. when you start the app press the application backup button an choose the apps you wanna back up. the installation apks will be stored in the backups folder on your SD.
PS sorry for the typing error in the title ... I bet no one saw it.
well...if we have a computer, we could simply extract the files to get the apk.
Use X-XPLORE this explore have apk back to zip option....
Just open the system.tar with winrar.

CWM (clockworkmod) is a recovery. Used to flash zips and ROMS. The procedure to get it is device specific. Check it in ur forum. It needs root.

I believe there is a version of MyBackup that does not require root. It's a 30 day free trial. However, it may not be able to backup all of your apps and or data.
Where do I get that version? The 1 I got from Google Play DOES:!

Your best bet it is to update your Rom to a recent one, then you know that the mods are compatible, it's really very easy to flash with Odin, and full instructions can be found in the rollup sticky in general

Lol, that's what I'm trying to figure out, what exactly you're trying to do. If you don't like TB, then you could always go into your system/app folder and copy the apks and save them to your SD card one by one.

I guess I don't understand what it is you are asking exactly. My interpretation is that you want to have a way to install your current apps AFTER you do a full wipe install(which would delete said apps), without having to order them all again. If that's the case, my advice, pull the apk from system/app, system/data/app, or system/preload/app and save them to a folder on your SD card. Then just install them from there after the fresh install. If that's not what you meant, my apologies.

No solution 2 month later? I'm searching for this too cause every full whipe later my sort is gone, i want my folders back as i created them
i get your question,, but afaik, with new TB, you can restore the apps order. but dont ask me how to in TB setting, i dont know buddy. i just backup,, then after restore,, all apps go back into their place, plus settings, plus the order in every pages.
