Best LCD density? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I just bought samsung galaxy tab 10.1 and got it rooted. Resolution is ok, buy I would like to try it with bigger resolution.
I have been using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=lv.n3o.lcddensity with my Lg O2X.
So has anyone changed virtual resolution, and whats the recommended resolution (LCD density) for it?
TIA

[Q] Screen sharpness

Heey,
I'm planning to buy the Galaxy S II, but I was thinking... (Maybe it's a dumb question...)
The resolution on the original Galaxy S is 480x800 on a 4 inch display, but on the Galaxy S II it's also 480x800 on a 4,3 inch display.
Won't there be any difference in sharpness or quality of the display?
I hope someone can explain it to me.
Thanks in advance!
i think S2 is sharper than S1 (im a s2 owner also had s1)
BUT yesterday i played with a S9003 with SLCD, it's white is whiter and text is sharper than on the S2

not really because the original galaxy s had pentile pixel matrix, which cheated and shared subpixels. the SGS2 has full RGB subpixels, giving sharper text etc.
the galaxy s really only had 600x300 or so effective pixels because of the sharing pentile crap. SGS2 has the full 3 sub pixels.
that said, i went and played with the Infuse, and thought the screen wasnt as sharp as it should have been coming from the pentile screens. even the Inspire SLCD next to it, same resolution and size, looked sharper. so i dunno...

[Q] Use S-Pen from galaxy note on Galaxy s2

thanks for the info. you guys answer my question too.
Samsung Galaxy Note – 5.3 inches Super AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display
Samsung Galaxy S II – 4.3 inches Super AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display
Both the phones uses the same technology i.e., the Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display for which the Samsung has got critical acclaim though the display of Galaxy Note is on the larger side which stands at 5.3 inches in height providing 285 ppi pixel density and with a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. When you come to Galaxy S II, it has 4.3 inches Gorilla Glass display with maximum resolution of 800 x 480 pixels at 217 ppi pixel density.
Both the phones have Gorilla Glass display with multi-touch input method provided with various sensor technologies like accelerometer for auto rotate, proximity sensor and gyroscope.

All that is the same, but the digitizers are different. Which is why the s-pen for the Note doesn't work on the i9100.

[Q] Screen Resolution !!

I am new to samsung, i want to buy samsung galaxy 3 but when i check the specification, i saw that it has 720 x 1280 pixels,
how can i play videos thats 320*240 pixels, or 640*360 pixels, it seems loosy!!!
how can i play videos without loosing the pixels???, give me solution?
and why samsung creates high resolution mobiles like that!!!
Videos of lower resolutions will be scaled to fit the display in most android video players.

[Q] PPI vs the actual resolution

Hi all, I am planning to buy Elephone P6i as a spare phone. I like the look and it is perfect size for me. I own few Chinese brand Android devices but I haven't bought an Elephone. Review of some Elephone devices looks good but again I haven't found any on this particular model. Please let me know if you found a good review about it.
My question is about the screen quality that I should expect from it. It is a 5" qHD (960 x 540) which is 220 PPI. I have a Nexus 7 2012 which has 216 PPI though it has higher resolution. Can I expect to see similar display on 5" qHD screen as in Nexus 7 2012?
I know it will depend on the hardware quality etc, but technically, should screen with similar PPI give the same display quality regardless the resolution? Thank you.
