1) Your guess is as good as ours..
2) Same way you do now, unlock the bootloader, install a custom recovery and install su or your rom of choice...

Get the amaze man if you still have your headphones they will work with the amaze including the headset buttons , plus they are very similar phones or get the gs2 and sell me those headphones lol

Agrabren has the 3d panel on cm9 working, it just isn't in the framework yet, we just have to see what he did.!

Last I heard in his thread he was going to stay off xda for a few days but still working on cm9. It would be amazing for him to come back in a few days with 3d and 4g working.

guys, update, and one I think that you all might not be so happy with, I built the Jellybean, and whatever I did to the boot image made it mad at me and I now have a paperweight, my phone is hard bricked s-off, and Im hoping that i can get it fixed. Sorry guys, no JB

As much as i would love and appreciate that (im only 17) my parents are gonna try and get me a blackberry to teach me a lesson if i cant fix the 3vo (omg thats worse than getting me an iphone), they saiid no more phone modding or they cut off my service (i can flash roms and i will continue to maintain my current rom though) , so i have to shut down the porting project. Wat do I haft to do to accept that
it's an automatic download to your phone, if you hit ok and let it install, then you've got that update installed and can't use the regular methods to get your phone rooted etc.

Because the bolt got a new bootloader with the update to ICS. If you're running sense 3.6 on your bolt you have to change the main version,downgrade the bootloader, unlock, s off and then upgrade through ROMs to be rooted. Use this guide here.

Just follow that guide. The thunderbolt and inspire 4g are totally different. That method is the only current method for rootting this device while it is on ICS.

The allinone tool or any of the unlock tools for the bolt will not work for the ICS update.
