First, thanks to everyone for posting about the differences between the OG and the SR. Because of the 1.5 vs. 1.2, I assumed the SR was better. But after more research, and reading what all of you posted, I decided the obvious choice was the OG!
Anyway, so as a Premiere member of AT&T upgrading a 2nd line on a family plan, I could not find the OG as being available to me at all, not refurb at $10 nor new at $100. Got tired of waiting for AT&T to make it available to me, so I went to the Sam's Club website. I did check there yesterday, however, I don't remember seeing today's pricing of $48.88, I recall it being above $100. Anyway, I am not sure how long they would have this pricing, but the lady I spoke to did tell me that the free overnight FedEx shipping is today only. If you order it by 3 pm, it will ship today and FedEx does deliver on Good Friday, so you should get it tomorrow. Otherwise, you may need to wait until next week to receive it.
I don't know how the AT&T website looks on your end, but I tried going in as a new user on the AT&T website and the OG seems to be in limited availability, if even available at all, right now. I presume they are trying to force people to get the SR, but I don't know. This Sam's Club deal gives you another option. And, a BRAND NEW phone with full one-year warranty and free shipping all for $49 is a deal! I snagged one just a bit ago and I am SO excited.

I see it on premier on my end although it says out of stock and the price is $99 with 2-years. It looks like Sams has the better price.
Glad you're not still waiting for a 1¢ one... Are you planning on rooting and rom-ing?

Good choice my man .
Had my i777 since the day they were released (paid $200 - a great deal even at that price), and my wife has been oggling it since it came out of the box. Her upgrade popped in as available today on AT&T's site when I paid the bill, so I went ahead and got one at this price! She's really excited to have the awesome powerhouse of a phone coming via overnight shipping. Thanks OP!

I wish I could have gotten it back when it was 1 penny! Contract renewal was not until April 1.
Yes, definitely rooting, have to use Titanium Backup to restore all of my data from my Crappie.... And, I am rather enjoying tethering my Rooted Crappie to my Toshiba Thrive Tablet... FOR FREE. I don't plan on installing a custom ROM, at least not at this time. Are there any benefits in doing so since this is already such a fantastic phone out of the box?

Already reserve one for tomorrow. What a kickass price. If this is released at $299, HTC Flyer may cause a firestorm.
This is the price it should have been when released.
I snagged one today and sold my ****ty viewsonic g. I am going to go to best buy tomorrow and get my $200 back with price match.
I am putting honeycomb on it right now. Kinda tricky but you basically have to flash all the stock honeycomb and then you can put that cool custom honeycomb rom on the dev forum.
Does this come with the stylus? I know in July best buy startedd including it, but I'm not sure if that was just for a limited time.

*If you are returning a mobile phone or device with a plan, Best Buy is not responsible for carrier charges incurred after the carrier's cancellation period. Please refer to the terms and conditions of your plan to verify the carrier conditions
Same here, snagged one tonight @ 499 because I don't wanna deal with the hassle of hunting one down all weekend. BB Playbook was sold out everywhere in my area after just 1 day @ 299, I'm assuming Flyer will be the same. I tried to get Best Buy to give me the sale price, but they're making me come back on Saturday to do the adjustment. Total bargain at 299!
Just put in my order for 1 @299. Picking up in store tomorrow. So excited to play around with this for the 2 weeks before I give it away for my fathers birthday present lol. At this price it just cant be beat, although my mom is going to be jealous when my dad gets this and she just has a CM7 nook lol. Anyways looking forward to "my" new flyer and the awesome devs here
The website still shows 499 for me.

No, BB is not including the Pen. (not yesterday anyway)
Yes, BB Price match policy includes BB & BB.com prices. (it should not be a hassle becaue they are matching their own price, it may need a mgr approval but for $200 it's worth it)
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Help-To...ee/pcmcat204400050011.c?id=pcmcat204400050011
(post edit, only specific items are good for 60 days on the price match, normal return times apply here afaik)
I picked up a flyer yesterday before reading this post, I will be re-visiting my local BB today to recover some $$
Cheers
BR
(on a side note I also go the rocketfish hardshell case and like it because it adds very little bulk) now if they would only let me wear cargo pants at work...

I can't find the info to back it up, but I had the price on a laptop drop 3 weeks after I purchased it. I was beyond the 14-day return period so they wouldn't refund the difference. If I find the page I'll post it.
Wait, here it is from the link you posted:

Good price point, but this is what HTC/Best Buy should have marked the Flyer at since day one. Considering we're still waiting on Honeycomb over four months after launch....
Seems like a ridiculously good deal ?

Great phone, great devs, great community.
Its good to see ATT isnt just trying to waste all the money they are putting into the NCAA tourney.
Advertise... Give a time limited special... and get new customers.
This at $9.99 is better than any .01 Cent offer they have had.
Vivid at $99.99 would be a good value if you are in an LTE area.
As someone who paid $199.99 for their AT&T Galaxy S2 when it came out, yes $9.99 on contract is a steal.
$200 was very worth it too though
Is there a huge difference between this and the Skyrocket ? Will HSPA+ still be as fast as that ?

LTE is really fast. And really noticeable. But personally, I'm a bigger fan of the sgh-i777.
Both web-surf and battery-drain faster with LTE.
AT&T LTE is not everywhere.
$10 for this SGS2 is a deal.

Thanks for posting! I had just ordered and received my phone last week so I called AT&T today and they gave me a price adjustment. This was a good deal at $99.99 and it's an even greater deal at $9.99!
I got mine in mid January. I traded in my Iphone 3gs for $100, the phone was $99.99 and got a %15 employee discount. I pretty much only had to cover the taxes...
Chuck! I would have known they will go down that low, I would have waited for a few more months...
I wonder why they suddenly went so low...
I just wanted to post this for all of you considering getting a new phone on AT&T, such as the One, S4, Blackberry, etc. According to what I have read, it looks like AT&T is starting a promotion tomorrow that will give an instant $100 or more credit toward a new phone of your choice when you trade in your old working smart phone, ( 3 years old or less). This may help in the decision making process for many people.

well i already traded in a phone directly through HTC for $100 and its gonna be for a visa prepaid card. plus you have to do this in store and they dont have the 64GB version available at stores. i guess its a good deal for those that missed the cutoff for the HTC deal though.

I'd rather go on swappa or any number of other sites and sell my old kit for a lot more than $100 unless it's an old phone. Just about any decent, present day smartphone is worth more than $100. They're just catering to those who either don't know there options or don't want to deal with trying to sell on their own.

i just told them that i see that you guys have the trade in promotion going that you get 100 dollars for trading in your used phone. i actually read this thread wrong which is why i called inthe first place lol. because i thought they give you 100 dollars on top of what they already give you. the wife traded her iphone 5 and i traded a nexus 4. the rep gave me a 200 dollar credit no questions asked. probably because she can't see on her system exactly what phones we traded in.

Many thanks, I'm so tempted to use my upgrade for this phone, costco has it on sale stupidly cheap (for a newly released phone). $129, 2 yr, no activation fee, state tax is based on $129 not actual retail, but return/exchange period is 14 days as oppose to 30. T_T

No problem. The upgrade would definitely be worth it. I've used a lot of different phones, but this is the first one that I truly enjoy getting to use. Not sure how Costco is, but I got mine at Wal-Mart, and theirs is also 14 days. A bit of badgering will let you return in within 30 days though lol. Definitely sounds like Costco has a much better deal though!

Are you kidding me?? I just got mine two days ago and paid $50 as well ?
Don't know if it's national or regional. I'm in Baltimore/DC corridor.
Yeah, it's a black Friday sale, national pricing. Since I paid $100 in August my only consolation is the free charger and battery promotion they honored me :good: $1 is an awesome deal for this phone. There will be a lot more people joining the party here on XDA pretty soon.
I got mine in thanksgiving day! I'm in Texas btw
Just got mine today, plus $150 BB GC since I ported from AT&T and set up new lines on vzw... $150GC/line x 4 lines= $600 GC

Yeah got mine for 50 buck through verizon last night.
Looking forward to this phone.
Hopefully this price drop will increase development for this phone
Just picked one up for my brother friday for $1.00. Very nice device all around!!
I got mine today at the Verizon store only to come home and see the ad. However I also got the LG 8.3 tablet for free through the promotion. So Im not too upset by it
I picked mine up last week on the Edge program and with my Corp discounts plus Verizon giving me $15.00 a month towards it I only pay $4.79 a month. Not bad and to still be off contract, plus being able to also upgrade in a year.
Picked up my three G3's last week from amazon wireless for only a penny each with a two year contract.
So how does this compare to the Galaxy S5 in terms of development? Thinking of making the switch while it's cheap, due for an upgrade in two weeks and I don't think that Verizon is going to include the Nexus 6 in upgrades... hope so but if not thinking about the LG G3. Appears this phone has working AOSP, something the S5 will never have..
I got the "new" Blaze Red edition for free thanks to the Cyber Monday sale yesterday!! It showed up at the house today so I can't wait to go home and root, TWRP it and enjoy all of it's awesomeness tonight!

The only reason you won't be able to get the N6 in a couple weeks is because it won't be out for VZ until early 2015.
Personally I got the G3 when it came out by preorder. Loved it a ton. Then I started eyeballing the Note 4 and made the switch.
Just returned my Note 4 because of TouchWiz and now I'm back on the G3
I was able to get the phone for $30 yesterday and received it today in the mail. Got the blaze red model and it's pretty sweet
I went online and got the red G3's for 3 lines free with $150 credit for each line, thats $450 credit with 25% discount on moto 360 and cases. win! win! Also ordered iflash 3 pack tempered glass screens for $9.99. not bad.

The Moto rep at work told us early 2015 so that's all that I know. VZ didn't want it competing with the Droid Turbo's launch.
anybody bought one recently for $30 with the offer of the free LG Gpad tablet? I can't really find good information on it? Does anyone know if you have to activate the tablet or not?
nevermind: i went through checkout have to activate a new line on tablet which is $10 a month access fee plus another $30 activation fee. deciding whether I want it or not.
I picked up a G3 for my daughter last Friday for FREE from Radio Shack. All I had to pay was taxes. She is LOVING the G3 (coming from an HTC EVO on Sprint) all her friends at school (8th grader) love using her phone to take pics.. I have the G3 on Verizon. I also got the LG G Pad 8.3 for free when I got my G3. Having a tablet with a Sim card is actually pretty nice. I take it with me on many occasions and it comes in handy.
Gotta love best buy's price match guarantee
