Just remembered there's a chrome browser for android lol so I searched for chrome beta in the play store but didn't find any results. Then tried to to install it from my laptop but it says htc amaze is incompatible with it but then installed fine on my Vibrant. Pretty funny if you ask me but anyone wonder why it's not compatible with our phone or somehow got it working on their htc amaze.
The Chrome Beta is ICS only
Frome Play store:
Chrome for Android is available, initially in Beta, on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.

Not to mention a ton of graphical glitches. Hopefully it all gets fixed in the initial release.
I leave it installed, only waiting for it to be updated. Opera Mobile is my default for now. Hate how they removed the tabs in the default, now every backspace has to refresh the previous page, major pain in the ass.

I dont think that the omega launcher released this Or next Month... iam really sad..; (
Public Notice
Omega Launcher is coming soon and will be well worth the wait. We have been working on it all day every day for the last five months and when we are ready to release it will be the most customizable and feature-packed launcher (if not app) on the market BY FAR. We haven't updated the site because we have seriously been so busy with the higher priority details but I will let you know when Omega's description is updated with more details and a possible ETA. That is all we will be posting on XDA for now though because Whiskey103 permanently banned our Syndicate Apps account for absolutely no legitimate reason, so all of our APKs and app discussions will be found on our own site and forums until this issue is resolved. Thanks for the support and stay tuned, just know that basically anything you ever wanted to be able to do with a launcher you will be able to do with Omega.
Cool can't wait to see what you guys come up with

If I'm not mistaken, it only works with Ice Cream Sandwich, so you may need to grab a ROM before installing.
It IS wicked fast. I also love that all of my Desktop bookmarks are automatically there. Highly recommended.
Has anyone found a way to always load the full version of sites?
How does it compare to opera mobile??
Working great on Senseless 2.0. I'll echo what was said about desktop fetching; that continues to be my biggest source of irritation for mobile browsing.
Seems polished, but haven't tested it much so far.
Doesn't let you switch between mobile/desktop yet but im sure that will be corrected fairly quickly since its been noted in the ratings for the app.
It is pretty good! Like the way it looks to have the chrome icon!
So has someone tried this on a GB ROM yet to see if it works? Or is it def. ICS only?
biggest drawback: no flash support!

Why in the hell wouldnt they release it for GB? I have been waiting for this for a dogs age.
Hi all,
I have been trying out HoloMusic player this week which seems to be a well made and often updated music player. I am not ready to change from my current player yet (mort player is still my everyday player) but this player seems promising. There was talk this week about releasing a stable version yesterday (Friday) which I was looking forward to.
However, yesterday, the thread here on XDA disappeared and I can find no sign of an official site online.
Does anyone know what happened?

Here's a link to a thread with the newest version of the play store. I can confirm that it works on cm9. Enjoy.

I tried this over the weekend after seeing the article on the XDA news page. Pretty cool if you like magazines. Also tried the Google ears widget. I actually think Sound Hound is better though.

Interesting. I don't really know all that much about jellybean other than its ics on steroids. Is there a "changelog" of sorts to look at?

I havent looked for any changelog. I have just been watching YouTube videos about it. lol. But you are right. Its pretty much just ICS on steroids. The biggest features are google now and whatever they did to make the OS super fast. At least thats what I feel are the major changes.

Its project butter that resulted in everything being so smooth. Everything is supposed to be better optimized. I read an article that had some pretty good info. Then I got a random reboot lol.

Yeah. I knew about project butter. But don't know what exactly they did. Something to do with the processors utilizing the OS better I think. It would be cool to be able to use what they did to make other android versions faster.

It feels like alot of clutter was removed from the system and the store was changed. Play Magazines is actually an awesome addition with reasonably priced items (.99 c for any one mag $14.99 for an annual subscription). Google Now is actually kind of scary in that it has just what you need to know when you need to know it. The 'card' system is great when you want to know about the current weather and traffic but the google seach integration sucks therefore making the sports and travel cards blow. The notification bar has been improved allowing you read whole messages and call from there, snooze alarms and whatnot. The whole thing is just....smoooth...Jelly Bean is ICS fully realized.

A little after cm9 dropped I started using chrome. So long as you didn't even look at the bookmarks tab or tried to open other tabs, it was fine.

Thanks, just flashed CM9a5, this will be nice to add in as well
Edit: Whooops
I think Google has pushed this update to everyone now. After flashing Alpha 5, I already have the magazine section and everything in the Play store.
EDIT: Seems to have already been mentioned. lol
Hi everyone just wanted to post and say hi to everyone on the amaze forums just got this phone today rooted and flashed my first Rom was wicked easy compared to my last phone. Coming from the Samsung sidekick 4g. Loving ics so far.

glad to have you on board! enjoy the phone!
BTW It runs dead trigger on max graphics without a hitch
I'm assuming that's a game. I'm not a big gamer but the only thing I can complain about so far is the lack of a physical keyboard lol quick question what's the most stable Rom and kernal for this phone right now? Currently running black ice v1.0 with a stock kernal from the 4.0.3 ota. I saw some posts about the v8 supercharger. On the sk4g we could only use the v6 one has anyone been able to oc this phone successfully? This Rom seems to be underclocked by default. Sorry for the noobish questions just too lazy at almost 4am to read through a bunch of posts

Hi, and welcome to the forums. I have an introduction thread in the General section. Feel free to introduce yourself there. To keep the clutter to a minimum, I'm closing this up.
