ok my issue here is that i can't detect the wifi. It has nothing got to do with the router as i am unable to detect ANY wifi ANYwhere.
This is the 2nd time it happen. i've read somewhere it said to wipe clean, so i did a full wipe and it solve the problem, and it happened again after just one week. I found some others who are having the same issue but those were x8.
Anyone experienced such issue with their mini pro x10 before??? How did u manage to solve it(permanently)??

Hmmm... The same thing happened to me, when I used the miniCM7Pro-v21 ROM. So it has some issues ... I tried to reinstall the ROM, praying that it would be a solution. But that didn't worked out either. And I made a decision ... I flashed to rom with the latest version of the nAa kernel. And installed the MiniCM7-2.2.0 for the Pro version. And it made this bug in the begining just ONCE!!. Hope that would be an answer.

KERNEL : 2.6.29.6-nAa-11
I had simular problem with MiniCM. I think it happened when i told it to forget a LAN while i was connected to it.
I had to tell it to forget all networks, and i could rediscover them and connect to them.

i do not think my issue is the same as your's. it does not even scan for any available wifi and i did not fiddle with anything when the problem happened.

sorry to ask, i am very nub in handphone. So i just need to :-
1 make a back up in cmw?
2 do a clean wipe?
3 flash the rom
4 done?
ok i've read somewhere it says to chg my router to channel 11, and it worked!
but why did it chg suddenly, and how do i go about it, as i cant be requesting every hotspot area i go to to chg their wifi settings.

U didnt flash it right,
Firstly do a complete wipe then install sonybreadv3 after thats turn on the mobile,
Again goto recovery and install sonybreadv4 and this time Do Not Wipe!

Hello! I tried the Andread and it didn't work too. I use the MiniCM7 v 15.0 by slade87 and nobodyAtAll, but it's camera doesn't work good, so, when I want to use the mobile for call, send sms, and use it as a normal mobile phone, I have a backup of the original ROM saved. And, for use the android 2.3 again, I have it's backup.

i have a xperia x10 mini pro running 2.3.5 gingerbread mini cm7 pro v13 final custom rom,
recently i noticed my wifi messes about and i dont know whats the problem,
it used to work before,
now it either goes in a loop ( connecting, disconnecting, scanning)
, it simply just says error and when it does connect after few min the connection drops,
would anyone able to help me with this problem
i tried barnacle, blade wifi fix, wifi fixer etc...

you're right wifi doesn't work on v 13, but now in v 16 worked perfectly.
is the v16 final?
theres new versions every second hard to keep up!

No, v 16 is the pre-final.

I am trying to activate Wireless Tethering on my "Rooted" Xperia mini
Model: E10i
Firmware:2.1-update 1
Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
Kernel: 2.6.29

I tried Open Garden, Barnacle, Wirlesstether, and none of these apps worked.
What happens is that the wifi tethering starts somehow, and other devices such the Transformer (HC) or the PC are able to detect the wireless service, but they are stuck in "Obtaining IP".
Also, I noticed that in whole the apps I tested, the Upload stucked to "0", while the download was active.
The Wifitether app also notified that the Kernel version of my phone was not supporting tethering. But somehow some users affirm that they managed to make it work.
So my Question is basic and simple:
What should I do???
Note that:
- I already tested any possible settings in all the apps.
- I followed some guides but mostly couldn't understand a word since I am not familiar with development terms.
- I of course searched this forum for a solution, but there aren't any specific to this problem.
- In one thread a user confirms that he made it work and the problem was that he needed Iptables.

You could try using a custom kernel like nAa kernel. And nAa MiniCM7. It has tethering built in. (Of course you need to have your bootloader unlocked first.)

I just learned that ICS will come in march for the xperia mini.
I guess it will solve the problem.

Xperia x10 mini and xperia mini are different phones. X10 mini (E10i) will not recieve an official ICS-update. Hence, your best option is to unlock you bootloader and change to naa kernel and ROM.

Today I install (very nice) ROM look`s like Oryginal SE ROM but I have trouble with HW Keyboard, but another hw keys like "back", "menu" doesn`t work too and I don`t know what should I do??
I try install hotfix and copy system/usr folder from another ROM (miniCM7 v 2.1.9) and nothing. So what must do to my keyboard work, and How much long I must wait to stable version of this ROM (It`s a very nice ROM but very buggy and I think that`s ROM is not for xperia x10 mini pro )

I have the question because I install today same ROM like this (Name: Sony Style v 1.1) and wi-fi, usb tethering, usb storage doesn`t work
I reboot my phone (and doing full wipe) after install SonyStyle v 1.1 but it`s doesn`t fix my problems.

OK Guys I found solution to fix HW keyboard
1.Copy (before install ROM) system/usr with miniCM7 2.2.0 to Achojtan Semc Debrand Engine V 2.0 .zip
2.After install ROM go to Setting>Language and Keyboard> International Keyboard (Setting!!!!) >vertical keyboard and check full keyboard (or something same)
3.After this operation back to Language and Keyboard and uncheck International Keyboard and Done (I tested it and work)

so, here goes : my dad's X10 mini and my friend's X10 Mini Pro seem to struggle to run ICS. i installed the right files on both, unlocked the boot loader, installed the latest nAa and so on. but all the ICS roms i try to run seems garbled. touch screen doesn't work properly, rotation doesn't work and much more. sometimes even the resolution is off. can anybody help me ?

did you flash the right kernel? nAa-ICS-04 kernel for miniCM9 3.0.3?

absolutely sure i did, at least on my dad's phone. i don't think i flashed nAa 04 on my pal's, but that was because that version hadn't been released at the time.

thanks a bunch, but i only have access to a x10 mini at the time of writing. just to avoid confusing you, i only used the appropriate files for the x10 mini, (strictly from the x10 mini, not pro forums) and strictly the files from the pro forums for the x10 mini pro.
