Earlier i flashed my HTC p3400i 6.0 rom to 6.1 successfully.
Pls anyone who tell me the stable 6.5 rom and procedure of this.
There are many 6.5 ROMs available.

there are lots of good ROM are available... coz every chief creates his ROM ..having something special in it... so difficult to tell which is stable or good...

okzzz...i changed the icons to give a different feel to the rom.i also increased the font size so that its easy to read once you categorize your apps in specific folders.anyways,my next release probably after Dec9(if possible) will include stock icons with newer builds.
Further i will be concentrating more towards developing and hacking section or applications n themes section as i dont use gene for as personal cell now.

I've just bought a Samsung Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570). It seems that the flash player is not installed, nor supported by this device. Is this right?
Did anyone tried to install the flash player on it with any success?

the thing is.. the galaxy s5570 doesn't really support any flash.. it has been really the most disappointment to the galaxy mini.. since i really expected that it would support it.
As what my research goes, adobe team doesn't claim any unsupported smartphones since they said that "THEY REALLY WANT TO SUPPORT EACH AND EVERY SMARTPHONE, BUT THE ONLY THING IS THAT WE DON'T CONTROL THE SUPPORT BECAUSE ONLY THE MANUFACTURER'S CAN CORRECT THAT"
So it means we need to contact the SAMSUNG PEOPLE. But unfortunately i tried to ask it by emailing them but i cant seem to get their email. and i tried their own site for contacting but they dont support S5570 and it really bugs me since this PHONE is new yet they dont support it.. PS: i tried already installing the adobe flash apk file but it would install but wont work.. so no good... AND i also tried the SKYFIRE.. it can support every kind of VIDEO FILE EXCEPT FLV..
its really a VERY VERY VERYY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT to the samsung manufacturers..
PS again: if your wondering why i bought this phone and it doesn't support flash.. is that it is the only available smartphone in my subscriber and i need a plan that BADLY in order to contact many people...
Any news on this? I installed Gingerbread and flash installed for me, but both browsers show "Plug-in content" and there's no way to play it..
Maybe there's an app for it? Cause well youtube works via the app.
Flash is currently armv7 only so your phone doesn't support it
(it's armv6)
There is flash lite(atleast on my phone) which allow viewing swfs and plays youtube videos in stock browser

just try to install adobe flash player 10.2 pre release.. it make your browser could play flash file. i am using skyfire 4.02. and works well.

think u need to be on a custom rom
that flash player app is just for Optimus One.Besides the ARM 6 platform the LG has 512MB ram and the S5570 384MB,i think here is the difference.The Mini is a low end device,so flash support on browsers wouldnt be available...and if a developer manages to get it work it will run with alot of lag...and make your device "heat up",in my opinion is much more convenient to use the Youtube app from the market,and if u really need to get fully flash support upgrade or go to a PC.This is 100$ device,what would you aspect?

It also works on mine.It doesnt matter ammount of RAM here(it matters only if you use a browser with 50+tabs and want to watch a clip),flash will stress mostly the CPU,and since LG Optimus ONE and Galaxy Mini has THE SAME CPU AND THE SAME GPU i dont think it's a problem.
I also use TJ's CM7 with normal clock on cpu(600Mh'z) and i dont have any problems at all.

i'd found this (download below) it says that is version Adobe_flash_v10_3_for_ARMv6,now i'm instaling it to see if it works...
...it is confirmed to work with Dolphin browser HD but i dont what to say about Dolphin,sometimes wont save files from rapidshare,zippyshare,filesonic etc. and i dont know why
here's how to get adobe flash(on the stock browser)
1) install any custom rom dat is dere for ur mini be it cm,andro-id or vanilla
2) overclock ur mini 2 a little above 700mhz(cant be sure about d min frequency dat u need to be on for flash 2 work,srry 4 dat)
3) now install d apk file http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=724095&d=1316405253
4) tada! adobe flash on ur mini
ps: overclocking burns ur cpu, nd using flash on ur mini leads to unstabillity(expect a lot of fc's)

ICS ROM for dell venue is on very early development, I think I need a stable ROM for daily use while waiting further development of ICS/CM 9 for dell venue. I found above Xperia X10 Rom with excellent appearance and rich features. Again, the challenge is coming and Not easy to solve.

I need someone to TEST and doing serious TEST, giving idea, suggestion, opinion for : rom Xperia X10 ported to Dell Venue .
About Beats and Dolby add ON .
I'm in doubt to flash both add on due to I saw overlapping libraries with base ROM , However Beats and Dolby probably will solve the MUTE Rom. Please someone give me idea. Actually that is easy, flashh both add on if something happen we can flash main rom and other stuff, unless Beats+dolby add on.
I made mistake during porting process .... I do not aware there is additional MODs thus I tried to adapt the libs file and delete some apk with the main rom only ... and forgot which one I deleted ..... to start over again from beginning, ... I have no time. So I invite friends in this great forums to help.

If you face FC ... Please inform and post here, what you have done before
The ROM have TWO Launcher, Experia Home launcher and Stage Launcher .... something NOT WORK/FC/HANK please also inform which launcher did you use.
Final target is delete ALL STAGE STUFF after all xperia X10 stuff working properly, thus we will have 80% xPeria X10 and xPeria S Taste and feature (With help of some CM7 stuff and features) , xPeria Drawer is nice since all Icon can dancing when in idle ... very Nice.
Someone can also try Nova Launcher, Go Launcher, etc.
xPeria have also DOCOMO HOME pls search and try to flash and let us know ... whats hapenning

CM.9 have BIG OBSTACLE on Camera and Now on RIL .... There is a chance to use GENUINE DELL VENUE RIL in Froyo ROM, unfortunately we need to set Sony Playstation SDK to decompile .....[dot]PKG file. I dont know How to obtain FROYO BASEBAND and RIL of dell venue and use on ICS Rom.
For Camera, I have discussed with my Poland Friend, he is suggested to use and try to adapt open source generic camera linux webcam drivers , Without solving the problem in CM 9 ...... MIUI 4 (as Ported ROM) will never work. However I will learn related to MIUI Camera .... is they have their own drivers or only applications. I tweak GB rom just for INTERMEZZO since I clueless to tweak MIUI 4. But I will do best to make MIUI 4 at least equal to CM9 dell venue ....... Just Pray for me .....

Yes, x1123. Actually, right at the moment I'm using 2.3.3 now (Olleh 408). ICS for DV is okay, but is somewhat unfamiliar to me, along with known limitations so I prefer using GB instead. So I totally agree that we should have a stable GB rom for this great device.
Recall the time I built the ROM for DV, with some modifications from original hPa's development files for CM7, I remember that he provided many fixes to make cm7 works for DV. However, when modifying RIL, I think that he added some stuffs that only necessary for Korean networks only. To make a ROM that works generally for any network, we can remove that part. Same way to other things!
So now, what comes into my mind when reading your post is, we should start with a clean CM7/AOSP source code base. Then step by step merge hPa's development files back to the source (we can submit to github, and track changes). After this step, we will have the very necessary base to start development after that (with all unnecessary things removed). Then we can have a stable CM7/gb.

from more than three months ago I am searching for any way which can make S3 acts like S4 in the smart features like smart scroll and smart pause , but I did not get any thread or solution for that , all the developers promise with not achievements , some of the custom roms which includes the features (smart scroll , smart pause) like Glamour S4 rom and S4 revolution 4.1 just includes non active features , just icons , and when I asked why tell now no custom rom or developer solved this problem , I got the same answer (it's related to the proximity sensor) , so when I ask why you don't upgrade the proximity sensor's driver to make it acts like the one which in S4 , I got answer ( will be fixed but in another update) no one tell now do that , that means the developers just work on themes , interfaces , and some apps , and that always happens just after the Samsung get out a new official android version update , or some leaks , when I asked some developers is that any way to make the smart features of S4 work on S3 , all said may be , and we are waiting for the official 4.2.2 or 4.3 for S3 , so if Samsung give the 4.2.2 or 4.3 officially with that features for S3 , so why I should flash a custom rom? I must use the official directly , all custom roms have bugs , heat , lags, sot stable , and cancel the devices warranty because the binary count will increases and even when I reset it with tryangel away , the device still custom in the about device status .

S4 features won't be ever perfect on the S3 if you want those features then buy the S4. Developers here spends a lot of time to give what users want so if you want it to work then give them time. Also no software is perfect it will always have bugs and other problems that we may not see. Even the official ones.

Look at the title DEVELOPMENT its a work in progress devs try to build mod stuff .
You have no right to anything at all you pay nothing at all to this development but are just a greedy want want . Really you have no idea what this forum is about its a developers forum for developers not i want want whining kids .
Suggest you stick with stock and stop wasting everyone time on this board .

I drop using my Wave long ago, even tho in the meanwhile I used it to watch some spanish streaming tv with the tv output on a crt tv, but now I want to change its OS with a nice version of android, to have a backup of my main android phone (a Vodafone Smart Mini/875 with jellybean 4.1.1) that's actually giving me some troubles.
So now I'm a bit lost, I already found and read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sam...t-android-roms-samsung-wave-gt-s8500-t2842566 where there's some kind of a list of the actual custom portings, but not all states the android version, besides it seems to not include the 5.* lollipop versions.
What I want to install is a complete and hopefully stable version, it doesn't need to be lollipop/5.*, expecially if it doesn't give any benefit except to being the newest/up-to-date but it eats more ram memory (that with only 512 Mb is an issue, the 875 have the same amount and with jb eats up more or less 400Mb~), and I need (almost) every feature available on Bada being present on Android too (like: tv output, camera button, bluetooth, wifi, 2g/3g/3.5g data/voice/txt, etc.).
I'm just asking to point me (/suggesting) to the right direction (thread/release) to the best or better options available for me.

Badadroid project start with a couple of an amazing developers , those formed the porting team
the first ROM to be ported to wave was developed by Rebellos and Volk204
after that Volk204 took the project by himself
so:
Any ROMs by volk204 are worth using
Any other ROM you see are just kang/copie of his work by some amateurs , and are without actual support (not if Volk204 doesn't fix the problem himself )
I recommend you using OMni rom 4.4.4 by volk204 and flash RIL fix from this post

Omni Lollipop are not for daily use , major problem with it ; is the low free memory , apps will just close , you can't use (for me Endomondo + Music ) it will work to certain point ; than Android will kill one of the 2 apps

And in earlier this year an another Recognized developer here on XDA "Alberto96" got an interest in developing ROM for wave1/wave2
he released a nice ROM , and now the links are dead , but he is BACK and he is working on his trademark ROM "GearCM" for our wave and from what i see in the his Github , it gonna be awesome

it been like this since the very earlier day of Badadroid
Bugs fix go along with ROM updates , they didn't work on the same android version , every couple and there a major bug fix come with the Cyanogen source update
So anything less than Omni 4.4 (11.12.2014) has more bugs .
i must mention
Senior member Hero355 he did work on a promising ROM (Smartkat) by he got busy with life and let the project unfinished . But his Bada 2.0 Turko Rom is just Great
Senior member BenzoX he did work on Dual boot (Bada/android) and Dual android rom boot, he did work on nand and sd ROM (he is also got busy and let some things not fixed ) s
some people are using this unfinished Alpha projects , what do you expect from their ROMs :crying:

So now. With Liondroid, Omni 6.0, GearCM and omni 4.4.4 which one can be considered for a daily use?
In my opinion, if GearCM had a better communication management it would be the best.

Looks promising. At the moment I'm trying liondroid (very smooth but I need further tests) but I keep your link for later.
Maybe you could see with the creator to put his version on xda?
What should I do, if after installing some gapps (not the ones from here) the phone goes with a black screen after starting omni? it only shows the notification bar

Omni 4.4 by volk204, but I figured it out, wipe some data in recovery and I could reflash the ROM again and flash other gapps.. but now, I'm having trouble with the Google play services last update , it's laggy.. I'm trying to optimize the rom with the guide by @ice_ice where there's a section to put the Google play services like it wasn't never installed...but I'm cannot find the option WAKEUP with the 3C Tools app to disable it, I can't disable other services of Google play services becase the phone it's so slow that it shuts down after a while and I can't make it...
Do you think that the YouTube App and whatsapp will work fine if I uninstall the updates? I mean, That would be easier to make, because the updates are killing the ram... It's my dad's phone, so he just need whatsapp, something to check the Facebook (I installed the lite version), YouTube and Something to open Gmail (any reasonable lite app for Gmail?)
Dsebas91 , I use the 4.4.4 by djkoloda without installing, gapps .
All the apps I downloaded in *.apk files.
Recommend YouTube_v4.1.47.apk .
Gmail I checked by logging into account from a standard browser.
Sync contacts with Google through a program of CardDav-Sync.
