Bad flash or wrong firmware or faulty firmware .
Backup data first then try a factory reset .
Check your IMEI matches the one under the battery . If not restore your backed up EFS folder .

Good Morning Everybody, i just yesterday buy one Samsung GS2 and it have I9100XXKI4 Base version i saw many manuals to update it to ICS but my question is what version i need to chose is mater if i chose etc this "I9100XXLPH" and is different than my?
hi mate, ill be brief because its just about my bed time
I9100XXKI4 is gingerbread, I9100XXLPH is ics. So they wont be the same if your upgrading from gb to ics.
Are you wanting a custom rom or stock samsung?

I want Stock because of guaranty, so any manual to just take the stock ICS Rom?
and what CF-Root i need to use? i mean version!
you do know when you flash cf-root via odin your going to increase your custom counter and in effect void your warranty, so youll need to either use a usb jig or use chainfires triangle away app?

yes, everytime you use odin to flash a rom on your phone you increase the custom counter by one, if this is not set to 0 ( zero ) your would lose your warranty if you took it to a samsung store for repair. So when you flash ice cream sandwich on your phone, theres an app called triangle away by chainfire ( play store ) which will reset it back to zero and your warranty will be ok! but only use it on ics not gb.
when you tell me your location ill post you a link to ics for you ( stock ) and the cf-root file and the instructions to use it. You have flashed a phone with odin before?

Firstly, try not to hijack threads like this.
Back to your problem, have you tried adding APNs in whatever ROM you are trying?

Right. Can you confirm that you used menu (left touchkey) > save to save your APN?
If that fails, please tell me your carrier and country.

anything solve with this problem;
My guess is you have an firmware for a different country and need to install the CSC for your country.
Either that or flash stock GB rom as you claim all ICS has the problem .

Yes, formatting through recovery and it did not complete because battery was down.
It does not work at all, so how to re-install !
remove the battery for few sec, then insert an c if its charging?
i did it friend and it does not charge. i changed the cable and i replaced the battery by my brother one and still not chaging
may b its dead if its not showing any sign of bieng active ,like showing the charge sign, going to recovery or download mode then its better take it service center....still check on it ,clean batt contacts, usb port (check for any debris)check ur battery in ur bros mobile to c if it has some juice, and if something is positive then pm me good luck...
Format will have wiped all .
I know as i have just formatted all on purpose .
Download mode and flash stock rom via Odin .

Hi there, wasnt getting too much response in the Aus thread so fingers crossed someone can help. My dilemma is i have tried to root the phone and now im stuck on the opening screen...tried various kernels with no success. I dont have/ didnt check the original settings (hindsight i know)
Phone was on Gingerbread 2.3.5
Model is: 9100T - Vodaphone Australia
I can access the download screen, Odin works fine, kernels say pass/ success but my problem remains
I've searched countless threads, used just about every kernel, but unsure as to what the next step is
If anyone can shed some light on this matter it would be greatly appreciated.
did you try flashing a stock rom through odin ?

I wish it was that easy. I have tried them all. I've tried ICS, GB both fail on either Vodaphone or optus.
Hi guys I installed Ultima ROM after which i could only charge while the phone is turned on not while switched off, however, by restoring my back up to stock Samsung ROM 4.1.1 it charges perfectly fine while switched off what do u guys think is the problem. Is it maybe due to the change in modem because i had to select a modem from a list and i just chose one ?

i suggest you flash 4.1 Rom first . something to do with EFS partition. EFS1 and EFS2 somethinfg like that. i think thats what causing this problem.
if possible flash 4.1 ROM first and then flash 4.3
