[Q] Facebook app broken. Shows double. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all.
I have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 and recently flashed it with a custom ROM.
Got around to installing all of my apps and the facebook app has ended looking crazy, Like it's an app inside of an app. See screenshot.
Not sure why this is, can anyone help? I've already tried reinstalling the app.

[Q] Android market not installing apps

Hi,
I am facing a strange issue witg my android market app on samsung galaxy tab 10.1.
I have 4 applications in the not installed list.
I choose install for all 4 and give permissiin to install, the applications are not installing, they keep showing up in the not installed list.
What could be the issue.
The problem does not go away even after reboot.

Sometimes i find that i have to try and install the app twice before it actually starts to download and install.
Sent from my GT-P7510 using XDA Premium App

Try signing into Google Talk and then go back into the Market. I'm not positive about Honeycomb, but previous versions of Android have used Google Talk as a type of authenticator that the device is registered to a specific user.
I've had this problem as well, sometimes dis/re-connecting to wifi works.
Check your app drawer, they are probably installed. I've been having this problem too. They show up as not installed in the market, yet I'm using them. Use the market report form, and tell them what's happening. I did and they asked for more deets and screenshots.
What I've noticed: If you check the box to add a shortcut, it doesn't happen
If you click the app that says it's not installed, it will show buttons to install and uninstall. Tap install and the list updates, even though the thing was definitely installed before. It has only happened with paid apps, but that may be a coincidence.
Again, report this stuff so they can address it.

"Dont Install!" app downloaded

Hi All,
I flashed a new rom today, wiped data etc. When the phone was setting up and downloading my settings from my Google backup, one of the apps that showed in the status bar as downloading was "Dont Install!". Has anyone heard of this?!
I've tried searching for info, I came across one result of an app that had been removed from the market but couldn't find anything out. It wasn't listed as an app installed on my phone when I went to applications.
Anyone know what this is?
Thanks
Is it a system app?
Why not freeze it with TI back up and see what effects you have?
Never heard of this...

Prime Calendar Force-Close

So I love my new Prime except that I am having a problem being able to use the stock calendar app. It WILL NOT open. Every time I try to open it it says:
Sorry!
The application Calendar (process.com.android.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Force Close
I have rebooted several times, installed all of the recent firmware updates etc and it still won't work. Every ASUS tablet I have owned has done this. I have had zero problem using the calendar on my Galaxy Nexus or any other android tablet such as the Galaxy tab 8.9 or Motorola Xoom. Any ideas why this is happening?

Did you try clearing out data in manage apps of the calendar app?
Thanks! That worked and everything is working as normal. I'll remember that if it happens again.

[Q] CM10.1: Apps of 2nd user not showing in app drawer

Hey All,
I am following xda for a long time, but have never been an active poster.
I installed CM10.1 nightlies last week and love it, but I came across an issue and I am not sure if it is caused by Stock or CM.
I am the main user of my Tab and my girlfriend is the second user. When she installs apps that I already installed, it doesn't download them again but it looks like it creates a virtual copy (which is good and looks normal from what I can find on the internet), but they don't show up in the app drawer.
All apps that I have and she installs on her part will not show up in the app drawer.
FYI, she can open them when going to the play store and clicking on installed apps, but this is ofcourse not the usual way .
Is this a problem of CM10.1? Or is it a stock problem? Or am I something missing?
(My apologies if this isn't the correct place to post)
Thanks!
EDIT: Sry, after installing latest nightly, everything seems there...

[Q] Cannot remove app from play store

Hallo,
I have an S3. Some time ago I had an S4. Now I longer have the S4, but in my S3 in the play store->all I have an app called Samsung Video (S4,Note3) which says update. When I press on it, it says that it is not compatible with my device. So I assumed that may have been a left over from my old S4. Unfortunately there is also no the small X on top right to remove the app. I did a factory restore, which fixed the problem for a couple of days, but today the app reappeared.
Any suggestions?
Ehi
Anyone is metting problemi with nova?
