My phone is 100% bricked, I was flashing blitzkrieg bootloader to flash his ROM and something went wrong.
Now my phone wont turn on, wont nothing. . .
So the Question is: has anyone went out of this? I now the jig method, but I searched and didnt find anything.
eif you borked the bootloader there is a good chance there isnt much you can do besides a jtag reset, now a jig wouldnt hurt to try but i wouldln't count on it working. i personally will always stay away from bootloaders until i get my own jtag rig.
Goodluck bro hopefully the jig works.
if the vibrant is originally yours you could make a warranty claim with samsung stating you were attempting to flash 2.2 through keis and your phone wont work now, otherwise like said jig maybe, Jtag almost assuredly, will fix your phone.
If you are actually considering a JTAGing, search in the forum for connexion2005. He have lots of experience doing it and have a website and everything.
Its sad, but you remembered me why i shouldn't mess with the bootloader. Goodluck with your phone bro...
What happened during the bootloader flash? I just flashed the GB bootloader and the whole process was over in less than 10 seconds, not much room for error..

I couldn't agree more with everything in this post. Nice community situation here
- The Samsung Kies killed my phone excuse has gotta be the ultimate life saver, but over time I'm starting to agree with others that it's probably not something I should endorse. As I root more and more of my friends devices I'm starting to find that 1) I hate them. and 2) NOBODY will read an OP all the way through!

I wholly agree with you that this method is something that should be avoided if at all possible, however I know jtag services can be hard to find as well as sometimes quite costly.
@op let us know how it all turns out for you

Your battery probably died.
You dont have to flash a pit with it because it uses the phones native pit when flashing the bootloader.
Also, the OP for the gb Bootloader states that it CHANGES the key mapping. volume up and power gets you dl mode. Try that before jtag. I had this problem trying to flash the rom because i couldnt figure out recovery. Turns out I didn't read it right. I read it through, just didn't interpret it correctly.

Thank You so much. I was trying to flash back to stock using odin and forgot to put in the pda file. I was only using pit and it bricked. No download mode, left it off for hours, pure blackness. Until I tried your method of plugging in the usb and holding the volume buttons then plugging in the battery. Thank you.

Great news and nice tip from the OP. However, if that tip works, you were not fully hard bricked...
Ok, last update: I got it repaired!
JTAG was the only solution for this.
My phone was:
DEAD, NO SCREEN BOOT UP NO NOTHING
NO REACTIONS AT ALL
NO BATTERY CHARGING IMAGE
NO NOTHING!!! JUST A TOTAL BRICK.
Thank you all!!
Glad to hear you got it sorted out be careful flashing those boot loaders

bricked my phone vibrant
I faced the same issue when my phone got bricked.
1. odin back to jfd
2. GB bootloader installed.
3. updated to 2.2 froyo via kies...
after that the phone never turned onn...BRICKED...
sending it to connection2005 for JTAG...
hope that resolves the issue.
I rooted and then flashed the Bonsai ROM(v0.1.5) with the Kernal (v2.6.36.4) Monday. I played around with the tab for about 5 hours, went to sleep, woke up, noticed that the battery was low so I decided to put it on the charger. And as soon as I plugged it in the charger, my tab froze and the screen turned off! What happened? This tab has been on the charger for about 28 hours now and it still will not come back on! What's wrong? I've tried every combination known to man (I think) trying to power this thing back on... and nothing happens. Am I bricked or is this the sleep of death? I have search threads for hours trying to find a solution and I can't find anything.
Any help from anyone with getting this thing back on
will be rewarded with a couple of beers, soda, sandwiches or whatever
floats your boat. I don't want to have to send it in to Samsung. Only GOD knows how long it will take for them to send it back.
I'm in the exact same situation, buttons are all not responding :/
Do you think it is the SOD (sleep on death) issue? several posts have been talking about it.
Please use the new Galaxy Q&A Forum for Questions Thanks

When asking for help on forums, never say you have tried "everything".
Specifically list what you have tried, because you may not have tried "everything".
If you truly have tried everything, your tab is dead, why did you bother posting here? If anyone can help you, then you clearly have NOT tried everything.

How am I able to do this if my computer will not recognize my tablet? Excuse me if I sound "noobish".
Your computer detects your tab right, hence tab not dead! Trying Apx mode with the combo shall work, it wouldn't display anything on the tab but will be recognized as apx device, manually direct to the nvflash folder for driver installation! Please spare some moment and read the second post of first link.

How do you know that you didn't miss a thread or a post buried within a thread?
If you want help, list each button combo you have tried. As I have said before, there are two possibilities:
1) You have truly tried everything, your tab is dead, why did you post here? If you really, truly have tried everything you have no hope.
2) You missed something in your research, haven't actually tried everything despite thinking you have, and someone might be able to help you if you specifically list everything you have tried in detail and the results of each try.
So I was helping my friend with her China Galaxy S2 GT - I9108 and I foolishly tried to flash "GT-I9100_ClockworkMod-Recovery_5.0.2.3.tar" onto her phone through odin...
Now it's stuck at the yellow triangle everytime when I boot up. I've bricked her 500$ phone...
Please tell me anyone, how do I make it work again?
There are chinese methods apparently but I am not chinese.... I just wish someone could provide reasonably well written instructions and DL links so I can fix her phone! Please!
Since it is apparently a Chinese only model phone, I think you'd be hard pressed to find any English websites that can help you... Maybe some Chinese sites, with Google Translate? Not perfect, but it's something.
Try to find stock firmware and flash it via odin. Google translate can help you for chinese sites.

Possibly, but don't use any of the firmwares linked within, as they are all for i9100 model phones.
Go to samfirmware.com to find stock i9108 firmwares. Download one from there, (you'll have to register but it's free) and flash using that guide. Again, don't use any files linked from the guide as they are not meant for your phone. But the steps should be the same.
EDIT: actually, don't use that guide. Just download an i9108 firmware from samfirmware.com, flash it in Odin in the PDA field, then do a factory reset. Then you should be good.

Don't worry about product code. You know you have an I9108.
The site is a tad confusing. You have to click the Firmwares tab, then click Type: Smartphone, then OS: Android, then Models: GT-I9108, then Region: Asia. That will get you a list of stock firmwares for the i9108.
Edit to add: Also, ignore the box at the bottom that says "LATEST FIRMWARES". If you notice, the models are all for a different model of phone; not the GT-I9108. The PDA for the I9108 should always start with "I9108".

I'm there! However theres none under the list O_O is it just my browser not loading the list? It wont show haha
Edit: NVM I forgot to click "asia"
edit 2: You reached your hourly traffic limit.
You can wait download for 13 minutes or upgrade to premium
Oh my goodness hotfile... ugh.
FYI, this may or may not be of interest to you.
I found this page using google that suggests that the i9108 uses the same SoC/chipset that the i9100G uses. Which is why you had issues when you used an i9100 kernel to try to root.
EDIT: well, you never explicitly said you were rooting, but you were flashing a kernel that had CWM Recovery in it, so I assumed you were rooting.

Well, during one of the boot cycles while the plug is in, try holding vol down and home. Maybe you'll get lucky. OR take out batt, hold vol down and home, (keep holding) then put battery back, and THEN press power till screen lights.
If that doesn't work, you may need to try obtaining a USB jig. You can order them on eBay or construct your own. There are instructions all over google on how to do it, but they cost like $2-3, so I just bought one.
So since it still powers on and home button works the USB jig should work right?
And flashing to stock firmware using PDA option on Odin should in theory work right?
Can you reccomend a link for a good jig? Don't wanna buy a bad one.

If the Tab is already on just hold the power button until it shuts off then immediately move your finger to the volume down button until garble comes up...lol then hit the volume up button until more garble comes up then hit volume up again until mor garble comes up!
you are now in Download Mode!

Sorry im not that smart or knowledgeable!
One more from noobville!
I was using ShishirRom (ICS) since a week. Today I was trying to flash CM9-Stable-Version in the morning. And 2 major problems occurred.
1. While I was transferring the CM-9-Stable-Version file to my phone, I was checking out the ROM Manager (I know you hate me already!!) and I pressed the Backup Current ROM Button instead of the back button on my phone. (**** Im stupid ) But wait there is more!
2. While I was finally able to get into Download Mode after 30 minutes of fiddling and was trying to flash via Odin to return to Stock and start all over again, my dear a$$hole friend pulled the plug while the Odin was in progress. (Yes, I am having one of those worst days)
Current situation: Phone does not boot-up - means NO ODIN RECOGNITION / NOT RECOGNIZED BY LAPTOP / NO DOWNLOAD-MODE / NO RECOVERY-MODE / NO CWM.
I have been googling about ADB and how to use it, but honestly I have not found on a How-to. I have read that ADB can reboot the phone into Download Mode or Recovery Mode, but I don't know how to use it. I don't know how to use ADB does not mean I didn't google it. I just couldn't find a guide to use it in my situation. If you can, please send me a link
May The Force Be With You! And may you help me search my answer! \m/
Ok so this might look dumb of me, but I am desperate here. I know its a weekend, and everybody is drunk. And probably I am the only lonely trying to figure out what the hell is ADB!
I look up to this site and the developers here. And I shouldn't, but I have, started expecting from all of you knowledgeable individuals. I would be hurt to be let down. Please help!
Thank you everyone in advance.
Not sure if this is what you're looking for but worth checking out.

Haha me? Nope no idea who the kid is. Friends don't let Friends use Rom Manager.
Thank you all of you insightful people to have atleast commented and helped in the ways you could. I am pretty sure I have hard-bricked my phone.
My next steps of action:
1. Go to AT&T shop and confirm on my warranty.
2. http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/
3. If above 2 steps don't work, quit android till I get a job :crying:
Thank you all of you \m/

I just got the USB-JIG. I followed the instructions you mentioned, but it does not work. The USB-JIG does not help either.
Im actually in the process of moving interstate. Once its done, I will contact the local AT&T shop to find out more on warranty replacement, since I am still under warranty.
Thank you anyway; even if it didn't start my phone, I still learnt a lesson: NEVER DO ANDROID STUFF IN OFFICE TIME, OR YOUR STUPID FRIEND WILL UNPLUG YOUR PHONE THINKING ITS JUST CHARGING.
