Speck Candyshell case power button - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Hello, I just purchased the Candyshell case for the ATT Note and the power button seems tight where its seems like its almost depressed without pressing on it. It does not feel tactile like the volume keys are, for those who have this case, is this your experience with the case as well?

I have the same case.... No problems with any of the buttons. The travel distance and pressure required to activate the buttons appear to be normal.

Ok I wonder if I just have a bad case?

Looking for a specific type of case

I got a used TF and it seems that the power button and volume buttons are hard to push. Is there a case similar to the Gumdrop case that makes it eaiser to push the buttons but not as bulky as the Gumdrop?

Case with Click Buttons

Is there a case that allows the buttons to click? I have a case but it makes the buttons feel like mush and it's hard to tell when the button is actually pressed. Does a case with a nice solid "click" exist?
The Casemate Pop case usually has a click.
The cheap rubber cases found on Amazon or EBay also click. I was running one for a while and the power button clicked.

My Otterbox Commuter has a pretty distinct click feel to it.
I just bought the SGP Neo Hybrid EX and I am very pleased with the buttons. The previous case I had silenced the buttons and made the response all mushy. End result was I couldn't tell if the button was clicked. The SGP case has a silicone inner case that covers the buttons and then a harder shell that goes around the side like a bumper. The inner case does NOT hinder the buttons and makes a nice solid "click", just like I hoped they would. If anyone cares for these things, I highly recommend this case.

+1. Love mine.

Solid black "S" Curve TPU GEL Sking Case

A skin case is a good description for this. I had this arrive today that I ordered after the Seidio case. This was a cheapie at < $4.01 free shipping (Amazon Prime)

Difference much less bulk to it... lighter, good grip feeling (not as slippery as the Seidio), rubbery but not loose fitting or easy to slip off like others.
This case protects the outside of the phone from scratches etc, has a smaller lip above the glass making it easier to swipe like I used to. However, it has a lot less cushion than the Seidio... so it most likely doesn't protect as well against drops like the Seidio Active.
Most likely a good case if you are concerned about dings etc... and want some protection, but not worried about large drops.
this case sucks, makes the power really hard to press. so it cut the area of the case where the power button is.
I own this case and I love it I think it makes my phone easier to hold and adds a lil style in the process

It definitely makes holding the phone easier. Don't agree on the Vol buttons though.. Thought it made using them easier than without the case. Not nearly as easy as with the Seidio case though.
I have the clear one. I like it because you can still see the beats logo. I like the textured grips on the side aswell. Good case.
I have the clear blue one and a white one. I like the cases, but yea the buttons are hard to push...
got mine today and this is the best case I've tried so far for this phone. 4.75/5 stars...the power button is hard to press, but other than that this thing is perfect
i have this same case and love it now... in the beginning it was just cool but after getting used to it it seems that the buttons are getting easier to push and its also easier to hold
Volume buttons are harder to push than the Seidio Active case, but easier to locate and press than the phone without the case.
Works better in the EZO dock as well.

Brain fart
On topic I have the black and the white version. White gets a little dirty, black is perfect
Got it for 2 days, the fitment is great, and the grip is also great.
The power is a little hard to press but no big deal, and the volume keys are fine.
Overall a great case for a great price!

Folio Case Options

I got a bit attached to the Folio style of cases with my last phone so I ended up finding a cheap option for the Turbo 2.

$10 when I purchased it.
Case is smooth leather with a removable wrist strap. Uses a fairly sturdy magnet for holding everything closed, this was an intentional coice as I was worried about having a snap that could press on the screen.
So far the inside is holding together very well. I do not use it as my daily wallet but it holds some reward cards that come out every few days. Pockets are still good after a week of owning.
The phone is held in via soft TPU liner. I am worried about it stretching over time but so far there is no sign of any loss in grip on the phone. Phone is held tight with no wiggle
The back has cutouts for the camera area as well as the microphone and "Droid" logo. TPU liner allows access to volume, Headphone, USB, and power only, no access to SD/Sim tray without removing the device.
Have you had any complains with people not being able to hear you when you're on the phone? Just bought a similar case and it has the cutout on the back for the mic but everyone complains that they can't hear me clearly or it sounds like it's breaking up

Soft grippy tpu or gell cover that doesn't cover the Volume or power

Has anybody found a nice soft TPU or Gell GRIPPY case that doesn't cover the buttons on the regular S7.
Every case I've seen they have bumpers that cover the Volume and power, Sometimes they're easy to press , I've had some cases where it's downright impossible to press them so i prefer them uncovered.
I've found some Hard TPU/Hybrid cases that leave them uncovered , but I find them to be slipperier to hold.
I'm looking for that nice soft TPU you can bend that is sort of Sticky to hold.
I just went through like 230 cases on MobileFuns website and didn't find a single one :/
