Hi,
I have tried to install Feralab v13.5 on locked BL
Installed, flashed doomkernel(that version that works for me) -> reboot -> stuck at se logo
only reflash with flashtool to stock helps out. Any ideas?
He says it will be fixed in v.14.Or you could unlock your bootloader.

Unlock your bootloader...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
See content, point 5.
em, I'm using locked BL because I cannot unlock my phone. It was bought used alredy and badly unlocked.
So I tried the freelab 13.5 and my phone will not go any further. It goes into the flashmod for a few seconds and then goes back to the SE logo and freezes.
Anyone any ideas on how to fix this?
He says theres problems running v13.5 with locked bootloader,so wait untul he releases v14.
And have you followed the instructions correctly.Someone done a compehensive install guide the other day and youve got to follow it to the letter.
Normally Id say to use pc companion, but with Feras rom youve got to simetimes reinstall kernel/rom a few times for it to work.

Trouble
At the beginning I would like to apologize for the language.
I have a serious problem. When I installed v14 FeraLab I reset the phone and he was stuck on the letters sony ericsson. When I want enter in debug mode, the green light is flashing for a moment, and then again appears Sony Ericsson. I have no idea what to do.
Please help
SEUS
Did you try SEUS, Sony Ericsson Update Service, try downloading that and restoring with it
I also faced this...
Forced to reflash back to stock then xrec to thgo...
will try today Feralab v14 if freeze again will renew wolfs rom with new apps and flash... tired of all this!!! Wolfbreaks ROM is the best
Do what I do........wait.
Let other people that cant wait test it out and report back their problems.
Then you sneak in later, install it trouble free with all the fixes in place.....

I had the same issue on both, 13.5 and v14.
I finally gave up and unlocked BL, it works great now.
fera has already posted the tutorial on how locked bl users install his new rom...

mate,
Its clearly posted that this theme is for Beta3 only.. if ur using 2.1, then your not using Beta3 because its for 2.2 froyo by Z.. U might want to check our what u flash in ur phone before doing it..
Niwei, if SEUS is not working, u might just have to FLASH ur phone again using the flasher made by B4nary.. find it in the other threads.. might help in ur reading.. Since ur already using xrecovery and ur phone is already rooted, try to flash beta3 un your phone then if u dont like 2.2, reflash using SEUS.. hope this helps..

There is also a version for 2.1 as stated in the title and in the thread, but if they've flashed the wrong one then obviously it wont work.

Partition? ext* system?
I think give xrec another shot. Keep pressing back key repeatedly when "SE" logo is displayed. Works for me everytime. Btw which ROM you on?
If that doesn't works then use flash tool 0.2.6 by bin4ry and use the guide by androxyde to re-install xRecovery.

Correct me if I am wrong. But doesnt Xrecovery have a Factory Reset option ?
Aside from that, I thought I had bricked my phone a week or so ago when Z released Beta 4. I could boot up to the SE Logo and go no further, couldnt even get into xrecovery. However, give this a shot, it worked for me to get it into flash mode so I could do a recovery on SEUS..
- Pop you battery out
- Connect USB Cord without batter in.
- Reinsert Batter while holding Back button
- The Screen should light up white for a split second but go back off.
- The Green Light at the top of the phone should stay on now
That should put you into Flash Mode for SEUS. The just do a recovery.
Yes, you will loose all of your information but hey, atleast you arn't buying another phone.
_____
Next time, read the post cleary and don't just think you know what your doing.
If the FW Version doesnt match you can lock your phone up pretty good.
If the Base Band doesn't match up, then you can mess up your Service and possibly put your phone into a repeating boot cycle.

As I said, it got stuck at the white SE logo no matter how many times I pressed the button.
Maybe after flashing should should reinstall xrecovery?
>>but i am not sure, about this...
I got some **** too, my current setting was the last SE Update with SEUS to my phone, then rooted, and xrecovery again.
I use "CM 6.1.3 V054 with BB 2.1.58 by Wolfbreak" there is nothing to flash,
only xrecovery actions needed (the last updates i made where completele withouth a PC - Files directly loaded from xda, booted to xrecovery, installed and after restoring apks with my backup root, work done)
>Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i with CM 6.1.3 V054 with BB 2.1.58 by Wolfbreak<-
Ok, i had to do this twice now, as i bricked it a couple of weeks ago
you'll have to reflash with sony ericsson update service here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/sup.../detailed/updateservice/xperiax10?cc=gb&lc=en
Follow the instructions and press the back button before plugging in the cable.
Download the software and keep in mind that playing around with roms will result in these problems so don't go too far.
Hope this helps and good luck

take it easy bro,
just use the SEUS to go back to the stock rom and root again ,then reinstall busybox and xrecovery.that's what i did when facing this prob.
Before you do some drastic reflashing..I'd suggest manually copying all the files in the apk to /system/bin(if i remember the path correctly), changing their permissions, rebooting and trying again.
If this works, it might save you a whole lot of trouble.
My x10 is stuck in a boot loop after I flashed the ROM.
How do i stop this from happening? I really like the look of the ROM over my current one.
Please help.
EDIT: Managed to get freex10 ROM running. So I have a useable phone now.
flash baseband which is included in the package and you should be fine

Same Issue I think
I think I am having the same issue but when my x10 boots it goes to unlock screen and then I have this loop with "The application ADW.Launcher(process.android.acore) has stopped unexpectedly. The device then flashes the Cynogen loading screen and goes back to the unlock screen where I get the same message and the same loop. My xrecovery doesnt work and I cant seem to get the phone to use the SE update manager because it also says its up to date and doesnt provide a repair option. Can anyone help with this? I dont care which android os I go to at this point as long as it will work.
You probably need to use flashtool to flash the .52 baseband fix. Unless you have .52 already.
If that doesnt work, try flashing 2.1 totally over again with flashtool.

I flashed the baseband with it but I used xrecovery for the ROM itself because I could not work out how to use the flash tool.
I'll try reflashing the baseband when I get home tonight.

To get out of the bootloop just flash back to 2.1 and start over again. And make sure to follow the instalation instructions given by the dev when flashing the rom.
I still can't work it out.
The ROM is in a .zip file and the flash tool doesent seem to be picking it
up and when I unzip it there are no selectable files.

yes, you DO flash the .zip file with xrecovery. step one, flash bb with flashtool, step two, start phone in xrecovery and flash .zip, reboot, and it should work.

first try SEUS that comes on your ROM( left click SE icon in 'my computer' install) if that one doesn't work, uninstall and install SEUS from SE site, but one of them will say 'repair'

Yeah, that's what I did the first time.
I just tried it again. Same problem.
Phone turns on, boots, sits on home screen for a few seconds then restarts.
Why would this happen?
EDIT: I managed to check the baseband version int he few seconds the phone was on, it says it is unknown. Would this cause this problem?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
The ftf files you need are on the second post. Just put the ftf file in the firmware section of the flashtool then flash it and follow the on screen instructions.
With baseband unknown go to the app on your phone called dev tools then go to bad behaviour and crash system sever when the phone reboots you should have signal and baseband will no longer be unkown.
I tried that, It keeps telling me I have my old Cyanogen mod for 2.2 installed when I do it.
In the process of running SEUS, hopefully it puts me back to 2.1

No, i dont think that is the cause of the rebooting cause ii get that a lot but the phone never reboots on me, what kernel are you on. Cause a lot of the custom kernels reboot when the screen is off or when you have the cpu up too high.
Hi!
I was using Spaarc's ICS 4.0.1 CM9 on my phone and decided to test FXP's version of ICS Alpha. Following the guide I flashed the baseband71 ftf and suddenly Flashtool can't recognize my phone anymore...when I try to boot my phone it just freezes on the bootanimation on loop. Another strange thing is that although i have unlocked bootloader, the white sony erricson screen is back.
Anyone knows how i can solve it?!
EDIT: GOT IT! somehow when i restarted my computer it just worked out right...reflashing right now. thanks anyway!
but the white sony-ericsson screen is still showing...the bootloader locked again in the baseband 71 flashing?! is that possible?!
nevermind, must be something with the kernel, after a reflash it's showing the FXP screen on boot.
Flash 2.1 generic firmware then flash back up to 2.3.3

Hiya guys,
I use XDA Developers a lot but it seems that I have f***ed up my phone. I wanted to go back to stock rom from CM 7.2, but Sony PC Companion didn't recongize my phone, so I decided to do it manually. While trying to do it, on flash tools I clicked on the wrong kernel and re-locked the boot loader without getting rid of CM7.
Now... here is the problem. I have tried to restore the phone via Sony PC Companion but it says something about no updates for my phone even though I clicked on repair, but it also doesn't recognize it as a X10i (just says Sony / Sony Ericsson phone). And I tried to fix it using Flashtools (different versions) but it still doesn't work...
Anyone able to help me. I would really really be grateful as I am using a O2 XDA Steller at the moment and its proper sh*t :S
I had the same problem, so I did RESTORE in my RECOVERY and then everything worked out. and I flashed different kernels to use recoveries to see where was my backup
