Go to my SBF Tutorial (link in my signature) and RIGHT CLICK and SAVE AS the SBF you want. I have this pointed out in my tutorial and these files are hosted on MY PERSONAL WEBSITE so there is very little chance of that going down or being taken offline, unless I screw up and rename the folder they are all in.
Ciao!

Wow, Thanks guys.
Wish me luck, Currently I am boot looping :s

If you need help let me know, I'll be here all day as I have no life.
Also I could probably get a mirror torrent hosted, but unless Moon Shadow explicitly says he wants one, just use his links, they work.

You need to get that site stickied and get permission from other devs to put their files on the Site.

Because it's my personal website, I prefer to host only my stuff. I don't have unlimited space or bandwidth. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Fascinate system dump available

http://www.androidcentral.com/verizon-samsung-fascinate-ringtones-wallpaper
We got hold of it over at Android Central, figured you guys might like a head start.
Enjoy
Someone needs to download this ASAP!!
Looking through the jupiter.xml file shows that Samsung is still using the www.spirent-lcs.com SUPL server setting. How long will it take for them to realize that it does not exist.
STICKY!
Can someone please STICKY this thread? I can't count how many times I've linked people to the system dump because they deleted something they shouldn't have. It's starting to get annoying.
We need a cdma galaxy tab system dump. That email app is sick.

Thanks for this link! For users getting to the post around the same time as me, the original link posted from the hyperlink in this forum is no longer available, make sure your dig through the thread to find the 2 mirrors that are still currently working.
If anyone can enlighten me to the rules about posting hyperlinks and downloads in this forum that would be great. I would like to mirror this download directly for this forum.

I apologize for that. Unfortunately, Motorola did not like the fact that I was helping their customers update the phones that they wouldn't, and after the C&D letters were ignored they had my entire 4-Shared account removed.
tl,dr; -- motorola's fault.

No, All my systems dumps, for just about every device released were deleted when Motorola had my account closed. The Fascinate dump was one of them.
Ah, I see. My bad, man

and now we know why I don't own a Droid X...
Too bad users of other manufacturers devices got caught in Motorola's crossfire. The OG Droid enthusiast community pretty much single handedly saved Motorola's phone division and just over a year later this is how they repay their loyal fans?
What's worse is it looks like HTC might follow Motos lead. Let's hope not. I'm happy with my Fascinate for now, but want to have other choices from other manufacturers that aren't pure evil. Thus far Samsung has been more incompetent than evil (reference to them posting kernel source that won't compile)
EDIT: Sorry for my rant. I'm a former Motorola fanboi dealing with abandonment issues.

[Q] Rom Release Tomorrow, Use MediaFire

Hey everybody, I will be releasing my first X10 rom tomorrow. I have already uploaded to MediaFire and finished my thread, but for some reason XDA logged me out and everything I posted was deleted.
But thats not the point of this thread. I was wondering would 4Shared be a better option to upload the rom or is Mediafire the way to go?
I really want fast download speeds for the users.
Thanks everyone!

+1 mediafire...quickest...cleanest site....
wouldn't it be easier to do a poll...its fine..just a suggestion.
Yes, thats what I thought. Thanks for your replies.
What about image hosting for screenshots?
couldn't you just upload it to xda...attatch image..to your thread.
I was hoping for large images but I guess I will do just that. Thanks man.
when you attatch them they will be small; however, when you click the images they will be the original size...also the sugarsync for me is broken..i dont' see image just broken link image....yeah i suggest just attatching them to your post.
also any info on your rom...like aosp, or themed se gb...or is it a secret.
OBVIOUSLY!!
Aha I have been with XDA for years, I just made a new account recently.
With the rom well I wanted it to be different not really a secret but CM7 involved. Should be posted by this time tomorrow.

Alright my bad...saw that it said you had like 14ish posts and just thought you were new. That's cool I like CM7.
The more the merrier. With the kernel sources hopefully getting released "soon" and maybe (most likely not after all the commotion in the bootloader thread) a bootloader crack, things will be good in the near future.
Well good luck with your ROM.
I am off to bed, 3.24 AM where I am...haha.
Thanks a lot man. Yes can't wait for the sources and all the "good" for our X10s in the future.
Yeah Im off too, same time here.

Media for sure! Best of luck and looking forward to your rom =) I hope it has Ad Hoc! I've tried Wolf's and EWJET, both doesn't have ad hoc wifi connection capabilities!
Multiupload.com is a good option too.
It even allows direct downloads, no waiting,
and it automatically uploads the file in well-known hosting sites
(hotfile, rapidshare, megaupload, etc).
It's totally free to make an account too and it provides cool download stats
per day and per country!

Thanks a lot man, I appreciate it. I am pretty sure ad hoc is included, if not we can look into adding it in a future release or different rom.

Why not post the link then so this thread is useful for people looking for that sbf? It might come in handy when moto starts pushing the 2.3.5 update, since you need that sbf to install the update.

Developers: What source code did Motorola just release?

First of all, it doesn't look like ICS so calm down. I am not a developer but I'm subscribed to rss feeds to update me whenever Motorola releases source code. It still says Android 2.3.4 in the notes. So what is this?
http://sourceforge.net/projects/photon4g.motorola/files/PHOTON-KDDI (ISW11M)/4.5.1A-1_KDI-95_MR4-3/
What I really find interesting is that if you check out: http://sourceforge.net/projects/photon4g.motorola/files/ it says that both folders have been updated today, 10/5/12. However only one of these folders (the one I linked to above) has any updated files in it. Do you think Motorola is preparing to release source code?

Looks to just be the source for a minor Japanese(KDDI) Photon update.
Edit: Something new here actually, vendor-bcm-wimax.tar.gz does not appear to have been in any other releases
Edit2: There is a ton of stuff in this, I think this was not meant to be released, there is some stuff marked "confidential"
Edit3: Pretty sure someone is getting fired over accidentally posting this, tons of confidential stuff here. Ill post a mirror of it soon so they can't just take it down.

Hopefully this is useful for fixing the 4G problem. There are also a bunch of testing utilities, might want to play around with those and see if we can use them to localize the problem.
Is it usefull to unlock bootloader?????

Awesome...:good: Hmm until we get some developer's actually dissecting the source I think we may need to keep a lid on it. Just in case it is an unintended leak and we don't kill off any further chance of getting more files or details, etc.

LG NPST 2.2.3 if you have it....post it here!

Amazing that no one has posted a d/l link still! Considering how useful it would be. So what's the big secret? Think we can all share now?
I believe there are some copyright concerns that keep it from being posted publicly here.
But it's easy to find.

As said by Alpoine there is a copy right issue so if you need it you can go to the IRC channel (it's on Freenode) #lg-optimus-g
Right in the header it tells you what to type in to get the link.
I see...I was wondering why everyone was being so damn stingy...lol Regardless...I've picked it up on IRC. Many thanks boys...
