Nope, You Have A Choice Of What You Want. It Sounds Like You Need To Be Bone Stock With The Bootstrap.
I'm pretty sure the pre-rooted version is the full update with preloaded root access so I'd say just the root will cover you.

i had the same question like 15 minutes ago when i saw his twitter post about TBH. It is apparantly and app made by a group of phone hackers to distribute leaked files, they charge for the app because, according to a forum post by P3, it does cost money to get sbf files leaked. Im not 100% certain all the features of the app because i dont own it, if you google 'p3droid tbh' you can probably learn more about it.

TBH had no idea what TBH stood for other than "to be honest". It's another one of those TLAs you have to watch out for.

I am curious to know what is so different about his update script that allows it to install root. From my understanding you have to have the su app in /system/bin, perhaps it's just an added line of script that installs it during the update. Either way I wish he would go ahead and release the links instead of dangling this in front of everyone.

Eclipse and liberty are just roms that you can flash onto your x2 if you have rooted your phone. If you or someone you know hasn't personally put them on your phone, then you'll have neither. It isn't something that would be on there from the manufacturer.

Also posted in my theme for Molten. He installed Molten and I guess tried to install other 2 ROMs too.
No one help him until he READS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/B] threads for modding first. Otherwise, he just takes up space on the forums. I'm sorry, but you shouldn't be asking what rom your on, if you are, go to an iPhone way more user friendly

yes sir..u are VERY right.
all I am trying to say is try to NOT be harsh...some things can read harsher than intended when type.
im not trying to say u didn't or that no one is trying to help out.
but it is also inevitable, that people no matter what they have read, will still need that little bit of "extra" info on "what to do now"
especially since our X2 can be picky with what you do or the process you use to do it
I really just said what I did in hope to "preempt" any "mean spirited" replies.
imagine how u would like to be answered when entering a site and following the rules at least to not post questions in dev section and u really don't understand all these : ROM, SBF, OTA, root, p3's, su, busybox, CWM, bootstrap, recovery, stock, modded, etc... words and what they mean.
now im DEFINITELY NOT saying go ahead and write out exactly everything the person needs to do. I am just saying don't be harsh. not that u were. or anyone else in this thread((yet))

OK, sorry it took so long. Tried uploading it through the box.net app and it would not let me. Finally tried through a browser and presto. Let me know if there's any problems but all should be good. Just rename to "bootanimation.zip", place in /system/media and you should be good to go.

Edit: this is NOT the animation featured in the video. When I first opened the link in the OP, I caught an image and thought the one posted and the one I have were the same. THEY ARE NOT. Apologies for getting hopes up, but the one posted is still a pretty good one.

Go to my SBF Tutorial (link in my signature) and RIGHT CLICK and SAVE AS the SBF you want. I have this pointed out in my tutorial and these files are hosted on MY PERSONAL WEBSITE so there is very little chance of that going down or being taken offline, unless I screw up and rename the folder they are all in.

You need to get that site stickied and get permission from other devs to put their files on the Site.

Because it's my personal website, I prefer to host only my stuff. I don't have unlimited space or bandwidth. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Does anyone still have an eclipse 1.3 zip I can download and flash?? I really want to try out eclipse but don't want to update to 2.3.5 (it will be a pain to sbf and then update for me) Since I'm sticking with 2.3.4 and this is the last eclipse version to run on 2.3.4 I'd like to try it.....anyone????

Hahaha I just realized that looking back on the specific thread. Well hope you're enjoying Eclipse.
Best way I found to deal with situations like that is to ignore people like that altogether. Otherwise you'll just end up in a quote/flame war.
I will try and take your advice, as hard as it is sometimes.

I'm not seeing a working link for Eclipse 1.3 for Droid X2 anywhere. Does someone have a more permanent link that this file is hosted, or can re-share for the time being? I've never tried this ROM yet and I've heard a lot of praise from other people.
Try Page 505 or near it. But I think I have 2.1 and wasn't that for 2.3.4? If not I have one for 2.3.4 somewhere on my computer
