Looking for android mp3 player for my sister.

Im looking for either an andriod 2.23 or higher based mp3 player for my little sister.
My sister has disabilities and probably will never use the phone part. But a no contract phone under $200 USD would work too. I prefer devices with replaceable batteries and upgradable memory. At 200, Id probably also buy either a 32gb microsd card or a 64gb micro sdxc card for a hundred more. I know many devices don't support it. Key word is support as Ive read more than a few devices it will work with when formatted thru android.
One thing that is not required is custom roms....but I'd prefer something I could throw cyanogen on. I really would also like at least a 1ghz processor. This is for her birthday in June, I just want some ideas. I know my wishlist is long, but I really dont know about any android based mp3 players and may need to be educated. A 200 dollar phone without contract works too.
If you are looking for just an Android MP3 Player there are two options:
Galaxy Player 4.0
Galaxy Player 5.0
Both are pretty much the same except for screen sizes, one being 4" and the other 5". The 4" variant is for around ~$190, while the 5" is for around ~$220. Both have a 1GHz CPU as well as 512 MB RAM and run on Android 2.3 GB.
As for custom ROMs, xda has threads for Galaxy Player 4/5 and CM9 ROMs are available for them.
Keep in mind, these are like iPod Touches, (No Phone functionality).
Cheers
Try amazon or ebay they have many Android MP3 Players.

[Q] Galaxy S2 as a video player.

So i think it's time to upgrade my Xperia Arc to a better phone.
I think the S2 is the best that I can get with my currently available money, and it seems to tick all the boxes.
Only one thing concerns me, I use my Arc's HDMI A LOT (as in 2+ hours/day) for movies and such, but it's limits are quickly reached, so I want to know if the S2 is able to stream big (3-4 gb+) 1080p/720p MKV files on my TV without losing frames and without missing subtitles.
Also, is a 2.3 S2 more capable of playing such files than a 4.0+ S2? I ask this because from what I know ICS isn't very well optimized
Thanks in advance for any helpful answers!

[Q] Larger then 4 gb files on S2 micro sd card???

Hello gentlemen and ladies...
I am wondering if it is yet possible to have a format on my micro sd card that will let me play files larger then 4 gb in size. My intentions are to use my phone as media player, as i would like to buy a miracast device so i can do wireless streaming to my 1080p projector, or take it on the road with me to stream to a hotel HDTV, in full resolution.
I have a galaxy S2 phone with 32 gb micro sd size (would like to upgrade to a larger size), and just upgraded to jelly bean...
My question, is this possible, and if yes could someone tell/show me how i might be able to accomplish this feat? (the ONLY thing that bothers me about android is the 4gb limit, with phones being able to play 1080p movies it makes little to no sense to me!)
Thanks for you time

So no work around exists?
You need to look at/search for threads like this
That thread should give you a starting point in your research; but to answer your question directly, not easily.

Which one? 16gb or 32gb

Hey everyone,
Which storage?
Especially in Canada, the difference between 16gb and 32gb is $100! That is crazy.
Given that I look at my note 3 storage and I don't even use half of the apps I downloaded and I'm still at 1gb, just makes me think is the extra $100 really worth it. I'm looking to use this tablet for more information searching, browsing and I barely store videos and music in general. I just can't justify for giving an extra $100 for a extra 16gb. I might as well use this money to buy keyboard with it. I know the operating system will take up some space, does anyone know how much memory does lilpop os take up? Does anyone know if OTG is compatible with this device?
What are your thoughts about it?
I prefer 64gb, so I guess 32gb.
My nexus 5 is 32 gb and almost full (and I don't even know why), so 16gb for a tablet will be way too low for me.
I've been thinking about this for myself and have decided 16Gb is plenty. Apps take up very little room, most of my stuff is on the cloud and there is always the option of OTG storage for the odd time I might need to travel with lots of videos etc. 32GB would be nice but unless you are away from Wifi a lot or play lots of large games or want to carry around collections of music, videos & photos, then 16GB should be enough. If the price gap was not so large I would just go for the 32GB version though as it would help avoid any micr-management in the future.
ordered a 32 gb because of bigger sized apps for 64 bit. Probably download a few games just because the gpu.
Might download a few movies here and there to utiilze that screen and boomsound.
Hopefully this tablet will faire better than the first gen n7, which im guessing it will by far.
I wondered about 64-bit apps as well but thought this was mainly a RAM issue (as people discussed with the 1GB iPad Air). Will there be an impact on storage, do apps compile larger and need more cache space etc?
I prefer what u really need!
look ..u must choose! choose what u really need!if u dont use a lot media on your device so buy 16 gb version. I myself use and keep a lot of media on my device so i bought 64gb version of my phone OPO. becuz i dont access to a good internet so i must have everything offline.a hint for all users! : install clean master!everyone that have a full memory and dont know why ..i say to u: u have a lot of junk files! install clean master and perform a junk file scan!!then see the miracle! i did it and 6gb got free! thats a lot.

tablet teclast m40 people saying ram n rom is fake , anyone here have one to open and see ?

so i bought one off these in aliexpress today in a promo .
but now i got very worried after reading comments saying its RAM and ROM are fake not 6gb 128gb, and thats on the oficial store of the brand on a ali.
so anyone can open it and show to us what chips are inside ;
and also test the hard disk rom in a software like h2testw to confirm that its really 128gb.
can you not test the storage your self ? just copy a few files over say 100gb plus and leave it over night.
Was just going to buy this but then saw it wont play netflix in had so now swerving it and going for a lenovo p11
still didn't arrived . customs take too long here. i put a remind for next month do tests and post here.
i will try to test rom with h2testw if is possible. connecting to pc on usb and testing as external drive .
if anybody know more simple and really effective programs to test properly write here and put links
Just try with a few large files.....you must have some ? Even if you copy a game folder over from your pc.

Any results?
my T803 aliexpress tablet is 128GB and 3GB rom and i havent had any issues its also a unisoc T310
Hello, I bought a P70Pro tablet from Aliexpress. 8GB RAM 256GB ROM but I couldn't use all that space. I was able to copy only 14gb of mp4 clips. I found someone else who talked about the file names. Big names can cause this, but I don't think that's it. I tried to copy several types of files but it's no use, the memory full message always appears. I bought another M40Pro 564GB tablet and the same thing happens. Any suggestion? [email protected]
