NVIDIA Tegra 2 vs TI OMAP 4
I greatly recommended NVIDIA Tegra 2 because most of the new revolution game for android support tegra 2...
and the hardware is stable also...many bug fix to that hardware.
Although I have uk version of the thrill I would recommend the atrix as unless you like 3D its better overall with twice the ram which makes it more future proof as the 512mb can be restrictive.

So I read that Demolition Inc is on sale for. 99cents:
Demolition Inc. THD is on sale for 75% off http://www.tegrazone.com/news/demoincsale
I go to buy it, and Google Play says my RAZR isn't compatible... I go to Tegra Zone, and it says it can't find a Tegra chip... WTH?!
I'm on the OG ICS leak (not 84 or 85) and I've purchased other Tegra specific games before... I don't get it... I wanna blow some s#!t up, but apparently my processor was swapped out for a lesser chip while I was sleeping?

It has a TI OMAP. No Tegra.
So if the game really needs either the processor specifically or the GPU in a Tegra, no dice. Chances are it need the GPU which is not in the OMAP.
If it were just the processor, it would work.
I Googled 'DROID razr graphics processor' and came up with this:
"The Droid Razr runs the TI OMAP 4430 chipset coupled with a PowerVR SGX540 graphics processing unit (GPU)"
No mention of tegra.

Yeah, I KNOW!! The OP is such a n00b! Geez, someone ban that guy!
(I realized soon after I posted that I was confusing the guts of my old Photon with this RAZR... My bad... Sorry for the waste of thread space.)

Does it mean since this phone is the equivalent it should also have it? ... I was able to find the nvidia store on play store which wasn't possible before for me on my epic 4g touch....
Edit; I didn't sleep much very confused I ended up on the nvidia site which had the phone never read about the international variant.
Mods delete me please n my threads I'm a failure ..:/ LOL

This phone doesn't have the tegra because it is LTE. The tegra chip does not work with LTE, we have the s4 krait.

Apparently it does work with LTE.. http://www.htc.com/us/smartphones/htc-one-x-att/
Thanks for the input but it just seems weird. Maybe disabled feature like gsm radios

Exceptional performance comes standard. Thanks to the dual-core processor with LTE.

Uh dude the American versions of the one x, Evo LTE included all run the krait chipset which in some cases beat the less efficient tegra 3. realize that the quad core tegra is running older s9 cores. Krait is running the s15.

LOL, x2....
Not sure what he isn't understanding about that description that he linked to... let's see if this helps:
The Tegra 3 is a "QUAD-CORE" CPU, and the S4 Krait is a "DUAL-CORE" CPU. Any American variant of the One X has the S4 Krait, same as the EVO LTE. Any One X outside the US has the Tegra 3, but does not have LTE. Make sense?

Oh yeah. Still barely use my Transformer cuz that Tegra 2 is a dog compared to all of my Android phones so far.
Eh lol it was worth a try. All these variants why can't there just be one version of each device.

Yes it would be nice if there were a unified hardware design... But that leaves out variety and competition

One version, sounds like Apple's philosophy. As the others have said, and to add a bit of confusion, the international One X has the Tegra 3, the One XL has the S4. The US One X has the S4. All this after HTC's big announcement about fewer phones and variations on phones. It's not quite as bad as Motorola though with the Razr, Razr Maxx, and the upcoming Razr HD, why couldn't they have just come out with all that in one phone.
As for the unified HW design, it would be nice if there were some standardized specs just to encourage companies to make more aftermarket accessories Android compatible.
Hello i need some professional help from experienced people i have a galaxy s 2 i9100G and the sgx 540 started showing its age in gaming i am looking for a new phone and im down to 3 choices
Galaxy nexus (i love the design and the huge support by xda and google but has a omap 4460 which is a little faster than my 4430)
Galaxy note (mali 400 is solid and fast but dont know how it performs on 1280x800 and i love the huge 5.3inch )
Htc one s (what i like most about it is the dual core krait snapdragon s4 thats super fast but adreno 225 seems to be as fast as adreno 220 which sucked at gaming i had an evo 3D )
What i need in my new phone is a nice display and a very good gpu for gaming cz i play demamding games like nova 3 and asphalt 7 and good developing support too thx in advance

buy galaxy note, it has better GPU than your other options.
Ps: except you are looking for used phones, new galaxy note is as expensive as a new HTC one x
Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII
Yes i know i am looking for a used galaxy note or a brand new one s or nexus and i cant find a used one x cz its still new and no one wants to sell it i can see according to benchmarks adreno 225 at 400mhz smoked mali 400 and on par with sgx 543mp2 i think im getting a brand new one s

Dear all,
What do you think which is the best phone uptile now or coming in near future
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
Up till now? No one knows for sure. You can debate between the One X+, Optimus G and the GS3 or the GN2 or even the Nexus 4, but everyone has their personal preference.
Coming in the future? Who knows? 2013 is the year of 1080p displays and Quad-core A15 chipsets and 2 Gb of RAM and so on.. We can only wait and see...

What?
I want to know which top Android phone in the market in 2013 support Tegra 3 or 4 games? As far as I know SGS 3 doesn't support any due to different graphic card, is there any possibility that S4 or HTC One supports Tegra games?
No, the S4 and HTC one do not have Tegra CPUs.
