i want all of your opinions on whether or not trade my iphone 4. unloackable for the galaxy NOTE.. can you tell me how long does the battery last on your phone and if it is worth to trade it
thanks
I used to carry both an iphone and an Android phone. After getting the note, I sold my iphone and use android full time.
the battery life is fine. if you are a heavy user, carry a spare battery.
I just switched from an iPhone 4 to the Note about 2 weeks ago. I have absolutely no regrets switching. I have always had an iPhone from the first one in 2007 up until 2 weeks ago and never saw myself switching because of how the build quality of apple and smoothness of iOS was. When I used a note for the first time it blew me away the progress that android has made over the years. While I still don't think the overall build quality of this phone is iPhone status everything else is better. As far as battery goes, unless you plan on trying to go multiple days without charging then it is a non issue. It gets through a day just fine. I will say the battery life does drop faster than my iPhones did but there's really no difference to me as the note gets me through the day with plenty to spare and I charge it every night anyway. Once you get a Note you'll wonder why you used such a small screen before.
I know the screen is really small on iphone .. I used the htc titan before .. N i am thinking of trading it . For a Note but im still in doubt .. Since i am with tmobile . The internet might be the same unless i put the hack to get 4G ..
Is the camera good on the note ?

the camera is brilliant.....great pics. i take pictures and can zoom in on the smallest details of that pic and see it clearly.
The battery life won't be quite as good add your iPhone, but it will still last you through a full day. I can pull about 16 hours total with 4 hours of screen time on a charge, but I try not to look at my phone for 25% of the day anyways. The screen will make you laugh at your iPhone. The iPhone has slightly higher pixel density, but once you go Super AMOLED HD, you won't go back. The SPen also brings more usefulness than you would think. Also, with Android, even without rooting and ROMing, you can still use rings of different kings of launchers, change how your icons look, use different keyboards, and perhaps the oldest argument, view flash content.
Don't get me wrong, I like the design of iPhones, minus the small screen, and their software does run smoothly, but after 3 Android phones there is no way I could go back. IPhones are just too limited for my tastes. With my 3g, I felt like I had a nice phone that could play some cool games. With my Note, I feel like I'm carrying with a tiny computer with limitless tools at my disposal. I also like when other people pick up my phone and have no clue how to use it, but it is still way more streamlined for my own personal use than an iPhone would be.
With Android you decide how you use your phone, not Apple.

I have ALWAYS blackballed Apple for the proprietary BS... I had to bend once when my wife brought home an ipod she found. I was pretty upset that I had to deflower my xpsl702x with itunes. I am ashamed of myself for allowing this to happen, but I would have been more ashamed of myself for not following my wifes requests.
Traded my iPhone 4 for a Note and I love it
I was a die hard apple zombie.. I once believed like all others that apple would cure world hunger. I traded my iphone 4 for a Motorola artrix then a international galaxy s2 then a skyrocket and now a galaxy note.. I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW THE RAIN IS GONE..
you will love the note..

(Only posting a link since it's applicable to the OP).
Short version - I don't regret the decision. You might depending on you love for iOS.

There are a lot of Note users that came from the iPhone. I havent seen any regrets so far. I too came from the iPhone 4 to the Original GS2 then skyrocket...then the Note. It just got better everytime. Some iPhone users are way too stubborn to switch but I rather have choices than to "accept" what they give me.
-Once you go NOTE, you'd say 4 inches a Joke
alright well I'm gonna trust you guys that the camera its really good quality thats what I'm more concern on.. cuz i am a picture fanatic...i wil b trading it for the note... if i don't like it how much are the notes selling for more less any idea ??

I like the camera on this phone more than the one on my old ip4. I can't speak for the 4s, but the note has a better camera than ip4.
You also have many more options inside the camera and quick options for uploading images to various apps from within the gallery.

do you experience any lag on the note??
ii will trade it but I'm afraid the size of the screen will b too much ...
has any of you tyried the 4g hack for tmobile also?
i chickened out on getting the note when i saw the size in person..im a iphone user 4 years and omg the iphone is so small i cant go back to it too small..youll get use to the size of the note..not really pocket friendly but depends on person to person..as for battery give it time to cycle and it will improve..but battery life depends on settings/use/rooted ect.. i love my note but sadly i have another pixel issuse so this one is going back to hopeful get another one with no pixel problems.. only thing i dont like is the camera speed capture its slow for me..battery could have been a 3000mah to give it a bit extra use..sometimes it lags depends how much ram your using and crash some apps could be bugs.. im stock GB..waiting for ICS real one..dont want to install root stuff right now
i switched from iphone to and i love my note will never go back to apple. my batt life is equal to my iphone so no complaints
Do it! If you don't like it I'll happly trade you an iphone 4 32gb unlocked with ssh saved for every firmware plus an otterbox case.

Hi all,
Just a simple question
When SGS2 gets ICS, will it beat Galaxy Nexus?
Please share ur thoughts
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I imagine it will take it down a dark alley and slap it around a bit yes....
apart from that, no idea what you are getting at
Yes. Lower res screen, better video and better cpu. Simple as that. I would like a HD screen tho'..
S2 has a better screen, faster processor and SD card expansion slot. It will be better with ICS IMO.
Ofcoz it will!!!
Its GPU is already better, and it has to render less pixels, so it will surely beat it.
depends what you mean by "beat it"
does it really matter though? will you stop enjoying your phone if it is no longer seen as top dog?

This is why I reckon well be in for a long wait b4 we see it on our s2' officially or untill nexus sales slow down
By "beat" do you mean like..an older man with daddy issues or performance/software wise? You sound a tad vague.

I think he means beat one off...?
As in wax the dolphin... spank the monkey etc.
Graphics performance-wise - the SGSII will blow the Nexus away. CPU wise, the Nexus has a slightly better processor (more memory bandwidth). Go read about it on the Galaxy Nexus forum in general. Nexus actually does have a slightly better CPU

I really do hope the sgs3 has led notifications ... bln is raping my battery, but its such a necessity..

Yup, if you're the type of person that gets their enjoyment out of being a show off.
Normal people supposedly bought the SGS2 because it fit their needs, how would the Galaxy Nexus make the Galaxy S2 less worthwhile of you? Unless of course, your goal is to have the latest and greatest, in which you should just wait and see which will be better and if the Nexus is better, pay some money and switch.
And I have to laugh at all the SGS2 owners in here defiantly saying the Galaxy Nexus has a poorer screen... sure the Nexus has a PenTile arrangement which on the face of it is a disappointment, but I'd personally wait until I see a Galaxy Nexus in person before passing judgement.
I did and it does not have gradient issue of sgs2 (actually all super amoled plus models, including infuse, i tried not just ours). Nuf said!
That does not mean I'm switching, in fact, no hell!
But screen on sgn is much better, you gotta give them that. Well you don't have to but it's the truth.

Can't agree more, sometimes we tend to rush to judge things too quickly.
And on topic, I do think the SGS2 will be awesome with ICS. Awesome enough to make 90% of SGS2 owners not feel like they need to switch. Think they'll generally still be on the same tier.

No matter which way you put it, the cpu slaps the nexus cpu around and it shows. Played with one today. Also, the screen is better on sgs2. Not hating, just disappointed
It already beats the nexus in terms of hardware and just about everything else... the nexus just has 4G of which isn't even useful to 99% of the world (no ssrsly). Oh and ICS... which isn't that big of a deal at all.
EDIT: Wtf

Do you know anything about either phones, let alone spelling? If you put an 'a' in definitely then you're definitely an a-hole.
P.S. http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=3621&idPhone2=4219
The SGS2 beats the Nexus in almost everything... :/
Nexus:
No MicroSD
Only 5MP Camera
Only 1.3MP Secondary Camera
No Radio (this is a big letdown to some)
Half as much 'quoted' talk time when compared to the SGS2.
No Gorilla Glass????
Overpriced (given the above)
SGS2:
No 4G
No ICS (Yet)
Hardly an 'Upgrade' from the SGS2.. ICS isn't that much better than Gingerbread. On top of that who really needs 4G?
But hey, don't take it from me, I don't know crap all about the Nexus. Though I do know my own SGS2 inside out.
I agree with 'soraxd' the SGS3 is going to tear the newest iPhone (lol what a joke) to shreds and absolutely squash any hopes of any manufacturer getting even close.
Believe it lol!

Granted, the writer is using an unlocked version of the Galaxy Nexus, so there aren't the network issues we've all come to know & hate, he basically says the phone itself is lacking, and ICS is GREAT! Can't wait til our "premium" phone gets it!

The only real low points on the hardware was the camera, and the build quality. The camera on the RAZR is nothing to write home about.. and I've never had an issue with Samsung build quality before...it's just uses a lot of plastic.
To me the more plastic, the less quality. It's a direct relationship as far as quality 'feel' goes.
My last 2 phones were Samsung and I actually liked the plastic. It makes it light and nearly indestructible. Don't hate on a phone unless you've used it for at least a few months. And I'm tired of people saying the GN has a crappy camera because it's 5 MP. Unless you plan on making that photo a 10 foot by 10 foot you won't notice the difference. 32GB is plenty of space and I use WAY less because all my music is on Google Music (10k songs).
All I'm saying is that you'd think Google & Samsung could have put a lot more effort into the physical build of the phone. I'm sure the camera's ok, and the sensor is what's important, but 5mpx to 8mpx really does make a difference (I know because my fiancée and some family & friends constantly say they wished their phones took pics like mine did (EVO 4G, Photon and now the RAZR).
32G IS a lot of space, but the fact is that today's user expects expandable memory, and it wouldn't have been hard to include. Hell, the OG SGT has a micro sd slot, why not a brand new device?
Lastly, plastic is just plain cheap, and really makes a phone feel like something my 10mo old daughter plays with. If you use cheap materials you shouldn't charge "premium" prices.
I haven't touched or used the phone, so my opinion is based on what I've read, but I HAVE fondled my RAZR regularly (it begs for it) and in my experience, it's more top notch. I have a feeling there will be a lot of exchanges from SGN to RAZR. Just my opinion...

I would never say one camera is better than another based off megapixels...it's a meaningless bullet point spec. That said...it looks like it may simply not be that great of a camera based off the OTHER more important specs. Looks like it's the same module as seen in the Galaxy/Nexus S...which was "okay" but not nearly on the same level as the SGS II, or the newer iphones.
I would like some help,
Is the phone heat going up to 120F/49C some thing this phone can take or Is that bad.
P.S My S2 never has gone to more than 113F.

Actual space is 27.3g free, of which apps and data share this same space. As far as tunes in the cloud, MUCH better on battery life to play local on device. Not to mention if in area with weak or no coverage.
as far as camera is concerned on our devices, the sensor is fine, the problem I think has to do with the software and compression.

I think once the razr gets ICS (and stable dev support) It will give the Galaxy Nexus a strong run for the money. Kinda like how the Nexus S came out after the Galaxy S1 and the S1 was still better.
Actually I once thought that I'll get a Galaxy Nexus, but as soon as I knew that there's no 32GB version available here, I just go for the razr...

Well.. The Nexus has a higher res and probably better screen. It has a removable battery (important to me in an LTE device). It also has NFC, which could be fun with new tablets.
Not to mention it has a slightly better SoC, the 4460 vs the 4430. The 4460 has a slightly faster GPU in it...but more than likely that will help just close the gap in the resolution difference.
I don't really see how the RAZR will give it a "run for its money" for guys like us the Nexus is simply the better phone. No frickin bootlocker preventing the community from fixing the issues Moto decides to ignore months on end.
EDIT: BTW, I own a Razr...I'm not jsut trolling. It's a good phone, I just think the Nexus is a clear choice if you have an option.
It's in all of the stores now, but they can't sell it. They are having a lot of over-heating phones some to the point ware they melt there backs off!
Any way they are now waiting on a "fix" and may miss there by the end of the year statement.

I'm feeling the same way. I love the feel of the phone but there are teo major faults that have me thinking I should return it.
The battery is dire. It's nearly out of charge and it is only six hours since it was at 100%.
The wifi reception is beyond bad. I can see six or seven networks with my three year old HTC Hero whereas I only just manage to connect to my own network.
It's a simply beautiful phone but I need it to last a full day and be able to switch to different networks as I move around.

Hi
I do agree, wi-fi is a little bit weaker on this one as on my desire before, but could connect to all my networks. Real test will happen on monday for wi-fi at the airport, as this was weak on desire also.
Regarding battery life, I really cannot complain, played with the phone on wi-fi for hours ( browsing). From my point of view the battery life is ok.

For those of us who want a solidly built, robust and quality device the RAZR stomps all over the Nexus from the inside out. I agree that the specs of the Nexus come out ahead and yes it certainly is the more "playful" device for us but that doesn't really matter when it's built like a Samsung. No offence to Samsung but this Moto feels like quality and is quality and sometimes having a stronger foundation is more beneficial in the long run.
Who else goes through the trouble of EMI protection like Moto.

Dude, research before you said that more EMI shields is a better thing. The reason they need that many is because they had to put every chip on the same side of the PCB. With chips on different side they can use the PCB ground plane as EMI shield so you would see less.
Been reading a little adout the Rezound and am going to trade out my iPhone for one. Am I making a mistake? I'm an android junky and the story is to long as to why I have an iPhone so now that I can switch back is the Rezound the right choice.

I love the rezound it is an awesome phone. If you like androids you will love it. My wife just switched to a rezound from an iphone 4 and she loves it. I upgraded from an evo 3d and it is a way better phone.
I've been with android since the very beginning with the G1 and the REZOUND is without a doubt the best phone I have ever owned. Not only is it the most powerful phone currently on the market it but it has great battery life that can easily get me through a full day of medium usage. The phone is even better now that HTC has unlocked the bootloader and a ton of ROMS have been released by developers. Plus, an early ICS build has been released which could lead to a stable ICS release in the coming weeks so overall I couldn't be any happier with this phone!
Yes, best there is right now. I switched from android to the iphone and now "I'm back in the saddle again."
Thanks for the feed back. I'm still researching this phone but I am stoked about getting an Android phone again. I was a luanch customer on the EVO 4G and then switched to Verizon on the Thunderbolt. I got a fancey stereo for my car and of course it was iPhone ready so to get all the goodies my new stereo would do I switch to an IPhone. I have decided the iPhone is just not worth having for my car stereo so back to Android I go.
I have a Nook Color and a HP Touchpro (running android of course) so yea...Im and Android junky and a flashaholic!!!

No, you're not making a mistake. Yes, the Rezound is the right choice!
The screen is gorgeous. There's a bit of an issue with color/tint in taking pics but the clarity and sharpness is amazing. Text is clear and crisp.
The dev section is going crazy since HTC unlocked it and now there's an ICS leak that people are working on.
Personally I like Sense a lot but there are ROMs without it available.
4g.
16gb internal and 16gb external removable sd card which can be upgraded to a 64gb card and confirmed working. That's an 80gb phone!
Wirefly currently has this phone at $99.99 for new contract or additional line.
I love it. If you like Android I'm sure you will too.
from the OG droid to a dx to the rezound it is by FAR the best phone I've owned. I've also had a chance to use/test drive a gnex and razr and i can honestly say that i don't have ONE bit of regret getting the rezound over those two. In after thought it was really a no brainer actually.

I asked this same question when I got rid of my DX2. I have never been happier with a phone ever. I love this thing more than I loved my OG Droid, and I nearly cried when I got rid of that. This phone is beyond amazing, and with all the new work on ICS that's coming up, you're jumping in at the perfect time.
another positive review
I too came from a x2, and was also an OG early adopter.
This phone kicks ass! The screen is unbelievable, the dev possibilities are endless, the beats makes a BIG difference on the audio! I was just getting into modding my x2...and once I (finally) learn my way around this one, the sky's the limit!
RUN , don't walk, to Verizon and sign on the dotted line! Lol
If price is an object, then yes, the Rezound is great for the price.
If price is not of concern, I don't see why you would not go with the Galaxy Nexus.
I don't think the Rezound is bad, but turning down consistent updating from Google, more after market customization and less difficulty rooting or doing any custom ROM, the galaxy nexus is Verizon's Best Phone, bar none.
That being said, go with what you like the best. Try them out, and go with what you like the most.

Sorry I didn't mention this is the OP but I will be trading my iPhone 4 for the Rezound. You guys have made this an easy decsion and I can't wait until I meet the trader in the morning at the Verizon store to make this happen. We are set up to meet at 11:00 am here in Phoenix so I will report back tomorrow!!!

Because the galaxy nexus has the worst antenna issues I have ever experienced. Screen is pentile amoled that gives it a nasty blue tint. People have been reporting burn in on the screen. Need I go on?

It's a great phone with a few quirks:
Many are plagued with overheating issues, my first one was but my second works fine.
The design of the screen allows the LEDs to shine up from the bottom and annoys some but I don't notice it often unless I'm watching video in the dark. This can be solved by installing screen filter and turning off the LEDs.
Stock battery sucks if you're a heavy user and on stock ROM or kernel. Development is just getting going and it's getting better.
Color balance of camera is off, most of the time you need to keep it on incandescent to get accurate pictures.
All the above are quirks and you can get over however the main problem is the audio hissing/whining/feedback when headphones are plugged in. Ironic that a beats phone has music issues lol.
Speaking of beats its a gimmick and I find equalizer (the app) does a much better job for a variety of music.
Pros are the following:
Amazing screen and full HD videos on it look amazing. High ppi ftw! Plus it is a full rgb display and not pentile like the razr.
Sense integration, love it or hate it. I don't love it but I really like it and because the hardware is so good it isn't laggy at all and love the contact and widgets.
While not the thinnest phone it feels really great in the hand. Ergonomically speaking much nicer to hold and pocket than the razr for comparison.
ISC should be coming soon as rezound is part of first release update. I think sometime in February.
Lock screen shortcuts (because of sense 3.5) are really handy
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Stop the lies in here about the Nexus......the Rezound is a nice phone.....that's it. It is NOT a superior device. Its the same old phone HTC has been selling for years with a dual core and over packed PPI. The most bloated UI of any phone and I read a earlier post about the "most powerful handset on the market"..????....seriously? Where are these specs at? This is terribly misleading information that is OPINION. This is one of many DECENT phones on the market.

I like mine but to be honest I would wait a few weeks for the razr maxx to look at it the battery specs are nuts.

No polls, just say whichever phone you are considering to move after Your Galaxy S2. I've been having mine for almost 2 years, And it's been a hell of a ride, I still think it was a good purchase, as it can move most apps with no real problem. My biggest complain is the problem with the exynos source, which has made a lot of trouble for ROM developers.
Anyway, the battery life has been a bit poor lately (in comparison to nowadays phones), and the phone overall is seriously bumped after so much traveling around. Nothing serious, but I reckon in a few months it might decide to die. So I'm considering options, and not being completely satisfied. What would you guys consider to move after this one?
-Galaxy Note 2/S4: Awesome hardware (not so good design), both replaceable battery and SD card slot, rather horrible exynos support that causes rather wonky ROMs.
-HTC One: Awesome hardware and stylish, hate the lack of menu button, horrible dev support overall. No replaceable battery, no external SD card.
-Sony Experia Z: You can friggin put this thing under water. Good hardware, awesome dev support, SD card support but no replaceable battery. And I insist, you can friggin put this thing under water.
Actually I have the s2 with a spare battery, so I bet for the s4/note 2 also the new s4 chip it's supposed to bring more balance to the battery drain

Yeah actually my S2 lost is battery in 'Nam (lost it in a crazy bus ride there), so I have two unofficial spare batteries, a Momax (Japanese) and a Pilsen (Chinese). Both performed like the official, but after a year that Pilsen is aging faster. So yeah, a note 2 is a strong candidate battery wise, but a huge put off due to Exynos ****ty previous support (in our phone and the first note).
Lol... I just bought s2 today... So I can't move....

Don't worry, it's a rather solid phone, and with a spare battery you will be able to do anything you want with it. Mine has just had too much hits everywhere, and the lid is falling off already. Everything else works mostly as expected. Just frustrated with the poor support on Samsung side for their sources on Exynos.
The Galaxy S2 has amazing hardware and still beats a lot of dual core phones even today. In terms of performance I have no complains about it but things which I dislike in my Galaxy S2 is lack of Notification LED & Mediocre Battery life. Also poor AOSP support is one of the drawbacks of the phone.
My next phone has not launched yet and It should be like Galaxy S4 ( Powerful, Beautiful screen, Removable Battery + SD Card Slot) + HTC One (looks) + Awesome AOSP Support (like the Nexus) .
I'll not be moving to another phone. Had my s2 for 18 months and when my contract is up later this year I'll be keeping it. No issue with battery, makes calls, sms and t'interweb what more couldI I want or need.

You're a lucky one....But you still had it for only a year, right? Mine is about to make two, and got it with no contract, as I hate to be tied to a single operator (or even a locked phone...I travel rather much). Case is, mine got several hits, and even some water some months ago. The screen still shows spotless, but everything else shows huge scratches, and the battery lid is barely holding together. I'll keep it for as long as it works, but I just think that won't be much more...hence the thread

My contract runs out in November, so assuming its been launched, I'll go for a Nexus 5. All my android phones have ended up with AOSP on them, so I might as well get one that has pure AOSP from the start. I originally got this because 2 years ago Samsung were the only manufacturer who left their bootloaders unlocked. Look at the faff about with the original xperia, or what HTC are doing even now. But I'm sick of no source code and having to wait many, many months for an update, so definitely Nexus for me.

i moved to Nexus 4.
I still have to find a worthy successor for my beloved galaxy SII.. ive had this phone for nearly 2 years and its by far the best phone ive ever had. Such a shame Samsung stopped making them as otherwise i would have stuck to the SII... i am debating between the S4 and the new sony xperia Z as ive read some good reviews about that one!

Big (gaming is Amazing), high performance (2 gig ram makes really huge difference) and nice look
waiting for s4
hoping s4 ll be as good as it looks...
Lol......by the time my contract is up for renewal, the S6 will probably be available....one thing's for sure I WON'T be getting anything with an "I" in front of it's name......lovin the android freedom.......

What do u think of Nexus 4 ? I'm thinking of moving to Nexus too so would appreciate your opinion
AW: [Q] What phone will you move on to after your Galaxy S2?
I'll keep my S2 as it performs very well and is great for customizing and repairing
I'm thinking either N7500 or Xperia Z.
Or the new Nexus. It seems like I dislike all stock firmware. I might as well get hardware that supports a free choise.
Still loving my S2, the music player is unbeatable with Sennheisers, and once you change the white balance away from Auto, the camera is brilliant.. Ive chopped and changed a lot of phones over the last year, but keep coming back to the S2, nothing beats it, even better than the One X IMO,.. seriously, but my next upgrade will be a Note 2... looks gorgeous.
Well apart from when her in doors is present. Lol
I'm seriously excited to be getting this phone. My handset is between 1/3 weeks away but I'm still can't wait.
Well done Samsung.

Well, just to increase your excitement a little further.
I have owned just about all the flagship phones over the last 3 years. HTC one M7, 8 & 9. Galaxy note 2 & 4. Galaxy S3 & 4. Nexus 4, 5 &6. iPhone 6 & 6+. (Seriously). Alot I know.
Have never found one that i thought truely had everything. HTC's (great speakers, smooth rom, but rubbish camera. Samsung Notes and Galaxy's (Good cameras, cheap build, laggy software). Nexus devices (fast smooth OS, poor cameras and build). iPhones (stable smooth OS, good camera, locked down OS, boring).
But, the S6 edge is absolutely fantastic. The build is brilliant and beautiful, the camera is absolutely excellent and the phone is blazing fast (ignoring touchwiz redraw). I really do think that this phone is a game changer and the best device released in the last 3-4 years hands down.
So please rest assured that i think you will find that this phone is very much worth the wait. (plus there might be some custom development by the time you receive the device).
Hope you enjoy

This is great to hear. I've been worrying about choosing between this and the M9 for ages. I've had flagships forever as well, but when I saw that this one wasn't waterproof and had no expandable memory I got very sad. But looking at this and the M9 side by side, the LED display is about 999x brighter. Coming from an S5 I can't got back on a good, bright screen.
This phone is so freaking awesome...excellent build, gorgeous display and the best camera in the market (daylight and night pics)... The speakers are loud too(sound quality is decent)… Samsung set the bar really high with this one.

I did a side-by-side comparison in the store as well and to me it wasn't merely about brightness of the M9 and the S6, but the resolution really appeared to me to be much better for the S6. I'm an HTC loyalist and have been for years, but the screen and camera issues with the M9 caused me to jump ship back to Samsung, not to mention there is now a Samsung phone that has an attractive build. Fingerprint scanning and wireless charging were big plusses as well. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and decision.
I don't think you'll be disappointed at all. The only thing that isn't up to par with the Ones IMO is the speakers, and who listens to high end audio through their phone's speakers expecting greatness anyway. Heck, I never did that with my One.
Did anyone mention too that the cameras are amazing?!? LOL simply put, I reiterate everyone else's sentiments that this is the best phone I have owned to date and I've had many of the flagship devices. I also was always opposed to not being able to change the battery or expand the storage but I haven't had issues with the battery or storage yet! I know it isn't the "post your photo" section but this is one I took at night that is unedited. Best night shot on a cell phone I've ever owned.

My list isn't as robust, but I've owned and used a lot of phones, and the S6 Edge is the first time since the freaking Galaxy Nexus that I can recall being genuinely excited about a new phone and not just "oh hey that looks rad I want it." From the moment I saw the S6 Edge I had a moment of "well I'm getting that." The Nexus 6, the M9, those didn't really grip me. They're fine phones, but nothing that made me almost annoyed at the knowledge that I'd be getting ANOTHER phone.
I'm not going to call the S6 Edge perfect, but I will say that it's the closest I have EVER run across. I have my quirks with TouchWiz still, it's a bit too slippery for comfort, and TBH the whole edge thing is, as yet, a bit gimmicky. The notifications are... okay, and the clock is nice, but I don't put a lot of mileage into them.
What the S6 Edge nails is just the intangibles. I haven't just wanted to PLAY with a phone since I got the iPhone 5s. Even when I have nothing to do, when I'm sitting at my laptop, I find myself looking for excuses.

I know there are a number of users who are complaining about battery life but mine is ok. Averaging around 4-5h screen time. Not great but not bad. Fast charge however is excellent. It charges extremely quickly. I have also purchased a koolpad qi charger and this works brilliantly. A bigger battery would of been nice but then that means a bigger heavier phone.
My battery life has been considerably better than my HTC One M8 was (also owned an M7). Both HTC's were good phones, but the S6 Edge is *amazing* in so many departments... loving my purchase decision.
