Bluetooth Lag Issues

Hi everyone,
I've been running CheckROM v6 since its release and loving it. However, I'm having some issues currently with sound.
Everything was working until I changed my kernel and modem in the Kitchen. I changed to NEAK kernel and XXKI4 modem, and my sound started to play up. It didn't seem as loud as normal, and sometimes my alarm would go off but no sound would play (Alarm Clock Xtreme Paid version and free version). Also, when I open Zedge ringtones, when I am 'previewing' the ringtones no sound plays at all. I tried changing my modem and kernel (changed to Redpill + XXKI1) and there's no change.
My phone still rings and my message and Facebook notification tones work, as does my bootanimation sounds. Seems like the System sounds aren't working or something?
Any ideas?
Cheers!
UPDATE: I've downloaded Volume Control app and turned up the system and alarm volumes - and it's still not working!

This definitely fixed my problem instantly! However, I keep getting the issue sometimes, which is annoying because sound in some apps don't work, and my alarm doesn't go off some mornings!
I've tried different kernels and different modems and I keep running into the problem sometimes. Also, my phone lags ALOT when I'm switching between phone/speakerphone/bluetooth headset. I miss out on about 10 seconds of the conversation when I get out of my car and change from bluetooth to speaker. I'm guessing this is a related problem so was wondering if you had suggestions on how to fix it permanently?
I use my phone for business purposes so I don't want to lost 10 seconds of conversation when switching from bluetooth to speakerphone
Any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers
I think it would be better if you do Factory reset but before doing that just don't forget to BACKUP your Contacts and other valuable apps...
Hope This helps..
Hmmm I'd prefer not to if there's an easy fix for the bluetooth issue. I can switch between phone and speakerphone easily, but when I turn bluetooth on then it always stuffs up.
I think it's ever since I flashed the 'Fully Modded Phone' mod, which I've now flashed over with a different Phone mod but the issue is there still...
Anyone else have any ideas? I've reinstalled the Phone apk from the original CheckROM v6 install and I'm still getting the same issues.
Noone else is having this problem?
I'm having a similar issue...
Upgraded from checkrom v4 to v6 previously and had various issues so went back.
This time though I did a full wipe first and now v6 works fine.... except when using it in the car with my Parrot MKI9200 bluetooth car kit.
Now whenever I answer a call there's about a 2-3 second lag before the sound cuts in. Making calls works ok but there's still a lag between dialing and the phone display/audio catching up.
I'm sure if I go back to v4 again it'll be fine as that was one of the issues I had before.
I've deleted / readded the pairing etc but no effect.
Any ideas?
hmm anyone found a fix for this yet?
??

[Q] Music will not 'un-mute'

Hi all,
I am unable to post in the Ressurection 1.1 thread so I am asking here.
I am having problem with the new ROM, when I play a music file, be it in Music or Winamp, I get an text message or phone call, the music mutes but doesn't auto un-mute - I have to reboot to get music back playing
Has anybody come across this?
Cheers
Josh
use vol keys to unmute
Works on cm9
Not for me it doesn't. As of the 0402 build of CM9 the volume rocker refuses to unmute music/podcasts after a notification.

How to enhance CyanogenMod (CM) ROM's call in volume?

Hello!
I use CM9.1. I love this ROM. But its call-in volume not perfect. Its not my phone issue. If I use stock ROM everything OK (sounds). But cyanogenmod ROM has lower call-in volume than stock ROM's. If I take phone call in a noisy place, such as inside a bus or a train, other person sound not clear to me.
Are there any way to fix it. I only need improve my call in volume. Media player and headset sound OK. This is the only issue I face this rom.
Thanks!
CM 9.1 low in call volume
I'm on CM 9.1, new to this ROM. It's the only ROM I've used where people I speak to on the phone say they have a hard time hearing me. Have never had a problem like this before. I find no GUI option in the settings for increasing my outgoing call volume. Can someone help?
I to have this problem. A way to fix it would be nice.

[Q] Sound Died

Hi guys,
Need some help on this.
Current setup
Crdroid 13
Yank kernel 3.1b, sound volume +4
I was having a conversation with my wife using loudspeaker using the extra volume function when suddenly the sound died. After that I can't hear a thing including music, video sound, ringtones and notification tones. I can only hear voice thru the speaker but not thru loudspeaker.
Help me out guys. Is my speaker broken?
Factory reset, flash a stock ROM.
If that doesn't help - replace speaker.

Already mega-wiped, flash a new rom and nothing.
Does this mean the volume hack killed my speaker?
Better not use it next time.
yup, if you push the speaker beyond the limits, this shouldn't be a surprise

[Q] SGII Speakerphone silent in call

Hi, I'm having a strange problem not hearing anything in loud calls.
The scenario is following: I dial the number, the other party picks up (or the other way round), I switch to loud speaker and...can hear nothing (neither from the earspeaker, nor from the loudspeaker). Microphone works normally as it should in the loud call - the other party hears fine. Normal calls (not loud ones) also work fine. Speaker itself is also working - ringtones, music are played.
I'm on the newest AOSP Neatrom 8.0st (KK 4.4.4) and Apolo Kernel 7.1. No other issues so far.
I'm quite new to custom ROM/kernel flashing, also I only recently got my hands on Samsung GII. Sorry if this is a stupid question. No reasonable search effort gave me good results. I'm asking this before I ruin my successful combination of ROM/kernel flashing another ones.
Thanks. Martin
Ok, problem solved by clean re-flash of ROM and kernel.
Still I would like to understand where the problem could have been. Just if it reappears...
