hi all. i can't get the phone to pair up with my bluetooth headphones (rocketfish RF-MAB2, to be exact). i don't think it's rom related, but i can't be certain (i'm running hydrog3n-ics with siyah). the headphones connect to my other phones without an issue but it won't pair up with my sgs2. i've tried copying over all the bluetooth files from my other phones (i.e. all the files in system/etc/bluetooth) but no luck.
i can pair my sgs2 up with the phones and transfer files, but it won't pair up with the headphones. again, the headphones pair up with my other phones so i know the issue isn't with the headphones.
any help would be appreciated. thx in advance.

anyone?
Might be rom related
im runnin LR 2.7 with my bluetooth headphones (cheap jogging ones, real basic)
work perfectly
it could be a rom problem, because sendin and recieving files is a "profile" of certain bluetooth drivers, thats why file transfer from iphone phones to other ones are impossible (even with jailbreak)
my best advice is try flashin to another rom to check
and
this might sound condescending but are your headphones in pair mode, i often forget that when i pair after a fresh flash
hope that helped

Hey anyone out there please help me since the day i bought my new TMOUS HD2 its getting stuck again and again and specially when i use bluetooth headset for attending calls and the only way to get it back is to take out the battery and reboot.
the problem is prevailing no matter what.
I have HARD RESET my device
I Flashed and tried different radios
I flashed custom ROMS
and i again flashed my TMOUS stock ROM
BUT THE PROBLEM DOESN'T SEEM TO GIVE UP AT ALL
my device works fine without conneting to my headset but don know what happens to it as soon as i connect my bluetooth and recieve a single call ALAS!!! ITS DEAD AGAIN
pls guys help me
i have used two headsets
1. Motorolla H7500
2. Nokia-BH103
same result with both of them pls any suggestions
Try with an other BT heatset, to see if your headset causes the issues. If you have the same issue with the other headset, you might think of returning the device for waranty (as I see you already hard reset a few times with the original ROM aswell)
Edit: saw you already used a 2nd headset... hmmm does your BT work normaly when transfering files?

yes evrything else is extremely well except this just one problem
So with a complete clean stockrom installation it doesn't work with 2 different BT headsets?...
Hmmm could be the BT chip thats causing issues when connected true a BT headset?
You might want to send it back for warranty i'm afraid.
I'm thinking on it as well neways thank you
Wondering if this is possible.
Anyone doing this successfully at the moment?
I've tried on my Android device, and it pairs, but it won't connect. I was thinking of trying the same thing since my device came with a headset with a mic, and the player itself has a mic.
I wanted to try and use it as a bluetooth headset should i receive a call when I am listening to music, but It wont work as far as I have tried.
But I wanting to know specifically if it can work on the 5.0 not other android devices
What I meant was that I tried to pair my 5.0 to my Atrix, and it doesnt work. I havent tried a normal phone yet, but when I get a chance to, I will give it a shot
OK thanks Id appreciate it!
I wonder if it would pair up smoothly with a Samsung Galaxy S phone??
Anyone pair it up with a Samsung phone successfully yet?
I am running aokp (latest by task) on my sgs2-i777.
Problem - Whenever I talk to someone with earphones on...they complain me about getting lot of noise but I can hear them fine...and if I talk without earphones they can hear me fine as well. They describe noise as - when you have phone close to tv or car radio and someone calls...tv/radio speakers emits kind of tutututuuututu...sound.
What I tried - I tried installing Phone.apk from GNex rom...but it didn't helped...if someone know a solution to this...please help...flashing a stock rom will be last thing I want to do.

Noise cancellation only applies when using the device's own mics - if using a separate mic it does nothing.
Get a properly shielded headset... Or move to a location that has 3G service instead of 2G.
Thanks for reply...I'll try samsung's earphones that came with phone...just wondering never had this problem with 2.3.7 build.
I just bought a Sony MW600 bt headphones and it seems that there's a terrible stutter when i try to listen to anything. The only fix is to turn off WiFi. Anyone else experience something similar? I am forced to turn off wifi everytime i wanna use this, which is kinda annoying. Please tell me it's an android bug that can be fixed with some hack

FWIW, I have the same issue, although eventually it seems to settle down to one-two stutters every minute or so. Sometimes it is really bad, though.
It could be hardware... my original Inc. did not have this issue. But my old Touch Pro 2 did do something similar if WiFI was on.
I have the same issue with the BT in my car. Can't use the hands-free in the car & streaming music is unbearable. Are either of u running custom roms?
Sent from my Dinc 4G using xda app-developers app
What player are you guys using? Are you streaming over the net?
Might relate to WIFI AP range?
I never meet this kind of problem in my HTC phone with MW600 BT headphone when I listen to mp3 music and browse facebook in the same time.
Is it possible that your WIFI AP signal is too weak to affect BT? I heard that BT and WIFI shares some common resource in HTC phone.

Using stock ROM (rooted, but nothing more than that), playing local music using the stock player. Doesn't seem to matter if I am connected to WiFi AP or not.
I don't want to muddy the waters on this one but I wanted to mention some things that have happened to me with several phones over the last few years. Thunderbolt....BT headset needed to be replaced as it had no outgoing voice but could hear people fine. Rezound.... BT headset (plantronics I believe) wouldn't even connect to the phone, replaced with a jawbone. Wife's Inc 4g... needed a new BT headset (had an older jawbone, replaced with a newer one) it would connect to the phone and work most of the time, but sporadically it would have no sound or voice communication at all.
All of these headsets were tested on both the older phones and the newer ones when the issues were occurring. The headsets would work without any issues on the older phones, but the new ones just wouldn't work correctly.
I'm not sure if it was just a bluetooth version incompatibility (they seem to update the BT version with every damn phone) or extremely bad luck, but the problems were occurring and could be duplicated consistently. I know they say BT is backwards compatible, but I've seen issues over the years.

Hmm. I've played around with a few scenarios and I have not been able to find a stuttering issue on my phone. It's always possible that the ROM (UKB) I'm running is responsible for it but I don't think it is.
just to update everyone, i ended up returning the headset. turning off the wifi only temporarily fixed the issue and it came right back up once i got back in my car.. for the original issue i had (ground loop noise over the headphone cable) i ended up getting a ground loop isolator cable - problem solved
I'm wondering, I have a 13 Ford Focus and I can't get it to pair with my car. Its worked fine before but recently I changed ROMs, CM 10.2 and updated my phones radios to the most recent ones. I think the bluetooth is fine because it pairs with my computer fine, just not my car.
So my questions is what cause bluetooth issues? The ROM, The Kernel or the radios?

I'd blame the rom.
Seriously though if you made a back up of your previous rom, restore and see if it will pair. Anything you need to clear out on your car's side so it can pair? I rented a Toyota recently and it's paired phone list was full, had to delete some to get it to work.

I don think so but Ill check. The only phone that's been paired with the car has been this one and only twice so I doubt anythings full honestly.
