Why all rom has the same battery life?

As the title says!
I always get the same battery life on any rom's flashed i even do calibrations.
Now don't get me wrong im not complaining or anything its just that before i could see the battery life changes in each rom ?
Can a battery get over used (old) ?

Lipol batteries loose charge capacity eventually after like 10000 charge cycles or something. Only poorly coded/alpha roms will have a serious effect on your battery life hope this helps

I was just teasing buddy
& getting to the point, we can add some battery tweaks to a custom rom than the stock rom. But we have to keep in mind that the less battery consuming means less performance. For instance, we can reduce wifi scan interval, so the battery life will be somewhat tweaked. But alas! Then users will complain that there is a issue with wifi, network finding time is very slow in this rom, etc, etc.
So the conclusion is, if you need a rom to be good or perfect, we'll need everything to be balanced. So everyone should be happy. So the battery life maybe same in every rom ( depending on usage) .

Best rom for battery life on my Xperia S

HI!
I can actually make a day with my Xperia on battery. i Have tested some battery saver app but i'm not satisfied, i think that something can be done in a rom for imporving that.
- Has somebody tested some customs rom?
- Wich one is the best for the battery life?
- For U, Wich one is the best?
If there is some developpers here, i've heard about that:gcc.gnu.org? i'm pretty sure you already know these improvements, but what about including them in your roms.
Thanks for your reading and for your answers.
Sorry for my bad english.
Jonas
Are you trying to publish this site gcc gnn gll gdd

[Q] stock rom with better battery life

Guys, what stock rom has the better battery life, LPX or LPY?
Sorry about my english.
Enviado de meu GT-I9100 usando o Tapatalk 2
Not entirely sure about the "battery life" part since it depends mainly on personal usage
Cheers

Ok, I says bad. I understand this, but I really want say in standby mode.
I does the LPY update yesterday, it looks like draining more the battery.
If you want good battery life, enable system power saving. My phone went from 100% to 99% in three hours.
I would say go for Custom ROM+kernel for better battery life...many options to tweak with battery life....
Try Siyah 4.1.5, and underclock. See if that helps

I agree, custom roms and kernels are more customizable and will give better battery life.

I agree with custom kernel but in my experience stock ROM provides best battery. It's all very subjective though and this question can't really be answered as you use your phone differently to me.
Just try a few ROM and kernel combos and see for yourself
I get 7hours or more screen time and awesome performance too.
I'm using stock ROM and Siyah 4.1.5, underclocked and undervolted

Have you tried a different charger? Or try an external charger. Then I would get a stock firmware from www.sammobile.com and flash through Odin.

I think you have done kind of app running in the background. Check for it. Also I think the best stock based ROM is DONUT HD.
