Hello all !
I just want to know if it's possible (and how) to unlock the bootloader with a mini pro buy with an operator (Orange).
I have "bootloader unlock allow NO" and I have asked the code for unlock the simlock to my operator and enter it, my mini pro is not simlock now but the bootloader is still locked !
How unlock it please ?
Thanks all
this is the wrong section to post this question.
please refer to the general section.
however, regarding your question, you need to ask your operator to unlock the phone for you first and it should say "bootloader unlock allowed : yes" before you can actually unlock it for free.
Man really??
This not the correct section please search the forum!!!
On the general section are plenty of threads about unlocking boot loader and how to because people won't read and search!!
Here read this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568792

If I understand correctly, an IMEI sim unlock (such as that given to you by Orange) will not give access to fastboot. You might have to use a paid method to unlock the bootloader rather than by using s1tool.
Do you still get Bootloader unlock allowed: NO?
Your phone's fastboot is not enabled.
That is the reason why it is not working.
Currently known way is via paid method(WotanServer, Omnius...).

Only SETool2 paid method can unlock boot loader and patch fast boot of your phone now afaik.Contact Jinx13(or there are few other guys out there who do this too).
Easy way to unlock bootloader and simlock at the same time.

Just simple, but need to make testpoint.
Hope this helps.

First.
Is your phone bootloader unlocked?
Problaly not, because unlocking you need fastboot.
Use search google "how to unlock xperia bootloader"
If unlocked then we help you install any rom.

I read in some places, including here at XDA that when you unlock the bootloader no longer more updates by PCCompanion in your device, it simply does not seek information about upgrading. Gives error.
Turns out I unlocked the bootloader of my Xperia S, I root, and still recognizes PCCompanion and sought an update (0.75).
I ask: It is possible that my Xperia S don't have unlocked bootloader? But as I got to root it?
Where can I check if the bootloader is even unlocked or not? Root it has, but PCCompanion is recognizing and seeking to update, and this is strange...

Try go to *#*#7378423#*#* --> Service info --> Configuration
If Bootloader is not unlocked, it says "Bootloader unlock allowed: [Yes/No]"
If Bootloader is unlocked, it says "Bootloader unlocked: Yes"

Many XPS users in Thailand said they saw the update but couldn't download it. It appears they have unlocked boot loader.
Therefore, I think PCC doesn't allow you to update unless you relock BL. But it shouldn't brick your device.

Hello,
Well, I wanted to experiment with Gcam - Camera2api etc and other mods!
Since I can't find yet anything that works with this model, I wanted to re-lock the bootloader and remove the message on start up "Bootloader is unlocked etc etc" and also revert back to original firmware.
I used flashtool - latest version 9.28 (Androxyde) and successfully unlocked the bootloader!
When I tried to re-lock it (As I have done this with previous Xperia phones) I got the error in the 1st post!
If you need any more details please let me know!
Thank you,
John.

I did the same thing using fastboot unlock command. But for now there's no way to fix this. Flashing the stock firmware, does not fix the issue. In fact it worked on some of the previous devices. But this time I don't see any solutions. I even tried so many commands using fastboot. But non of em worked. Let's hope that Sony will release some kind of commands to relock the bootloader.
