Will this fixed bricked cell - HTC EVO 3D

http://www.jtagbox.com/tag/spl/
I have to fix cdma and wanted to know if anyone had any luck fixing a bricked EVO 3d..I ran ruu 2.17 with S off..oops..

Not even remotely, would likely super-duper re-brick it if you somehow got it to actually run.

If a phone's hardware didn't get burnt up or spanked .. I wonder if you could some how push something to the phone to get it to turn back on and run..

Ya maybe it doesn't work for htc evo 3d. Never seen it anyway. But it is very common for the noobs flocking to the epic touch to have to jtag their device to get it working again.

Have you tried going the RUU way?

Not only wrong forum, but wrong OEM. That's a samsung phone. Probably have better luck asking there, since most of us (including myself) don't know much about them, but they are quite different at teh lower levels of phone (like the bootloader).

[Q] No More 4G Help!!

Hey Fellas, i used Revolution to root my phone, i have since put many roms on my phone, the rom i currently have is shooter sense 3.0....i love the ROM its awesome, i am in a 4G coverage area and my 4G just says scanning but never connects, just says scannning, so i restored back to some stock rooted rom that i d/l online, 4g still doesnt work. so i then d/l the latest radio by Caulking or whatever, and still no 4G, just says scanning, oi am now back to the shooter sense 3.0 rom and still no 4G, and im in a 4G coverage area, how do i fix this?
Can somebody bump this

Had this same issue occur on my EVO4G, back in the day. Basically when they first were new. Messed around too much and somehow lost my WiMax keys. Since then I believe they've come up with several ways to repair the issue. What I did then was RUU back to factory, and start the whole root process over. That got my WiMax back.

Reset to factory RUU using the supersonic RUU utility, on the hboot screen it still says s-off and revolutionary at the top...Sole Conslusion is that this phone, per revolutionary CANNOT be unrooted, now that i have the bone stock rom on my evo, the 4G doesnt work, i know this because on the stock evo rom, while searching for 4g you get in the top left part of the screen it states "4G!" which means there is no 4G, well that little symbol is not on the top the screen in either my new rom or the stock rom, stating something is wrong with my 4G...i think i have a unique situation that i need to be fixed...and i cannot find a fix for this
somebody bump this, i think i have a unique situation

[Q] Bootloader broke 4G-Has it been fixed

I've been reading a lot and everyone says that Bootloading the Photon 4G will break your 4G connection. I want to know if anything else has been done to get the connection back or the system was updated to not worry about.
Unlocking it still kills 4g. You can relock later and have it working again

Yeah no dice yet. Hoping for something soon.
i wish so badly especially with the new kitchen sink project D: it would make it the GREATEST THING EVER and would be a good enough reason to buy this phone all over again!!

Hadn't seen it until you posted it. Its interesting, i don't support the service but it really shows that we can achieve S-OFF, which is awesome.

They probably achieved s-off via jtag.. so it will be a while before devs achieve s-off. Not saying they can't do it.

wow interesting!
What exactly is jtag? I'm not a noob but I'm definitely not a dev... I also noticed the bootloader still said locked so I'm assuming they didn't have to use HTC dev first like my EVO LTE(just left sprint for T-Mobile). I'd like to keep from having to register my phone with HTC dev in case of warranty issues

Jtag is a service that can flash motherboards, they can unbrick them, root them, s-off, ect. Its only because they have the files from HTC them selves to do it. I have talked to them before in my HTC inspire 4g days.... Ide love to have an evo, 2nd best phone on the market

Ahh I see, makes sense... Too bad they won't release that to the public... I'll be selling my EVO LTE and nexus s 4g as soon as I clear my sprint account... I would have kept it if sprints data wasn't so horrible...

Sending phone in for fix up. Need help.

Hey,
Well my phones digitizer is failing and is very sensitive. If I press hard enough it'll make some dead pixels. The screen is also out of place on the phone. The top right corner of the screen is inside of the frame. If I send my phone in will it give me my EVO back or a newer phone like everyone was talking about in that on thread?
Would they care if its S-off? And rooted?

Sprint its a $100 deductible.
Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk
The issue of the phone being rooted and S-off seems to vary. I've seen some people mention that Sprint didn't care, while others mentioned having issues getting Sprint to fix or replace devices based on the fact that it's rooted. As far as whether or not you'll get your phone back or get another EVO LTE, I'm not sure how that works. When my wife had her S2 the power button went bad and I took it to Sprint, who replaced it with another S2.
Sent from my HTC EVO 4G LTE
Probably replaced with an EVO LTE as they still have em in stock and you can even still purchase one for free with a contract. I suggest taking it in to Sprint first before doing the Asurion deductible. Sometimes they replace free of charge. Ps deductible is actually $150, I had to get one myself a while back..
