no, there are no roms available at this time. Bootloader is not cracked
Ok, but is there such thing as that or is it absolutely necessary to have a pc.

Try rebooting the phone at first, if that did not help do a data factory reset. After that if not solved you might reflash a stock rom. Still no remedy, take it to the shop/repair center.

Am I missing something here? At what point did they even mention rooting the phone? And rooting is still the best way of disabling bandwidth hungry ads in apps.

What type of flickering? This may sound stupid, but it is a legit question. Try making a photo of it.
If it is going downwards in bar-like formation, it's the display.
If it is blinking, it is Android, or a loose connection...

I was helping a friend root and update his Amaze to ICS and the software flashed the controlbear files into the SD card but it didn't work so i put the SD in my Amaze and tried to format it but all of a sudden it turned off. Now whenever I connect it to the USB the System starts to find a driver for "QHSUSB_DLOAD". The phone is not even charging. Can anybody help?

Try the Amaze unbrick project. You can find it in development section, but it's kinda weird how it happened when you just tried to format it :/

I've looked at that thread and I'm downloading the files required to do that unbrick. But if that doesn't work is there any hope left?

If I successfully unbrick the phone, why do I still have to take it to a phone repair center? Can't I flash a Rom again and wouldn't it be okay? Sorry for asking too many questions I'm still a noob at this stuff

Well you're the one asked me, what will be your last option if the unbrick project doesn't work reason I said jtag, I didn't tell that if you succeed in unbrick project you still have to use jtag.. If you succeed of course you can flash a ruu and have a working device...
